I desperately needed a complete remodel of my main bathroom, right down to the studs. We received five estimates, and the prices varied significantly. Two of the estimates were more reasonable than the others, so we decided to go with First Choice because they could start a month earlier than the competition. Ross and his team were very accommodating and worked around our schedule (one of us works third shift, and another works from home but is on Teams most of the day). Ross was present every day and even offered to work on Saturdays. He kept me informed throughout the process and never tried to upsell me or make excuses for why certain tasks needed to be done or not done. I appreciated that honesty. He mentioned that the project ⁵would typically take ten days, but I understood that unexpected issues could arise and it might take longer. I requested that it be completed by my birthday. Unfortunately, it wasn’t finished by then due to the need for additional plumbing updates, delays in tile delivery caused by this year’s L.A. riots, and some tasks simply taking longer than anticipated. There were a couple of things he had to redo, like the LVP floorboards that were separating. I appreciated his proactive approach in ensuring everything was done correctly rather than just “good enough” or hoping I wouldn’t notice. However, I was not pleased that when they sanded the walls, they didn’t put up any coverings to prevent dust from spreading throughout the house. Despite these issues, I am extremely happy with the final result of my bathroom.

Had a roof leak repaired. Communication was excellent and job was taken care of quickly. Once repair was complete, they took the time to explain what they found and made suggestions for the future (when we actually have the roof replaced). Pricing was extremely fair.

Did a nice job with some interior work at my house. Truly cared about my satisfaction. Always timely communication and responsiveness.
