Fine Custom Construction

I haven't had work done with Fine YET. In fact I've only spoken to Deborah. She was amazing over the phone going over options and being so understanding of our needs. We set up an appointment and Mark came to my home at the scheduled time. We'll I had fallen asleep thanks to being a tired mom of 3 kids under 2. Needless to say I called immediately to apologize and they were so kind about me having missed the appointment for such a ridiculous reason. We are scheduled for another appointment and I'm thrilled to be working with such FINE people! Thanks Y'all!

So good and bad. When the time came for someone to come to my home and walk through the job they were very friendly and offered some great ideas and cost ball park which I appreciated. Outside of that it was a poor experience. I was told someone would reach out in 2-3 weeks. 6+ weeks go by and I follow up. There process requires to me take a couple hours out of my day and come to there office before they will talk about price, design or anything. I asked if they could do a zoom call with me instead “they didn’t want me taking the designs to another company which I totally understand” but they responded with you aren’t the type of client we wanna work with.
I defiantly give mark “my estimator” 5 stars. Everyone else in the process has been a 1 star.

Absolute professionals. I truly appreciated the team, their honest feedback, and thoughtful recommendations for our interior home updates. I liked their app for all communications and staying up to date. I would definitely work with Fine again.

FIne Remodeling was a pleasure to work with! Mark, the designer and project managers were always responsive when we reached out to them with questions or concerns. All employees were personable and helpful. As the saying goes, “you get what you pay for,” and this is true for Fine. They are not the least expensive of contractors for a very good reason; the work they do themselves, the sub-contractors, suppliers and products they use are of high quality. We wanted a contractor that would take care of everything so we didn’t have to do anything but make decisions presented to us, which proved true for Fine. We also valued the services of the designer who made all appointments for choosing appliances, lighting, countertops, etc., and then guided us in making decisions. We love our remodel!

I rarely give negative reviews because most people do their best. Not in this case. I received a voice mail this morning from fine remodeling telling me that the appointment that was set for me a month ago, for today, will have to be cancelled. In the voice mail they stated that have taken on too much work. This is not a reschedule just a cancel. Then the voice mail ended with “good luck”. What? It would have been good to know weeks ago, not the day of the appointment. Unprofessional and a complete waste if my time. Stay away.

Fine Remodel built our home and they were superbly dependable, transparent, and professional. The quality of their work product was high and they were a pleasure to work with. We remain friends with Fine Remodel today.

Fine Remodel and Construction were absolutely amazing! The whole team was sensitive to the fact that my remodel was not under the best circumstances. We needed to remodel after putting a family member in memory care. They understood that each decision and choice was filled with emotion for us. Fine Remodel was also sensitive to our budget and took great care to give us quality as well as excellent results. No corners were cut. My whole neighborhood can't believe how beautiful my house is now and I have referred many neighbors to Fine Remodel.

Fine Remodeling Endorsement 23 April 2020

It’s been nearly a year since the great team at Fine Remodeling finished the addition to our home. And every day I thank The Good Lord I hired them for our project. Not once have my wife nor I suffered buyers’ remorse ! I pull into the driveway and marvel at how nice our modest starter home of 35 years has now become.
We live in a tract of similar homes and could very easily have “overbuilt” for our neighborhood. But Mark understood us when we said we want this addition to look like it was meant that way from the start. All too often you see home expansions that just don’t fit the original home nor the neighborhood. But Mark Blankman worked with our Architect and the West Jordan City Planners and came up with our plan.
Once we all agreed and signed the contract, Mark’s Team arrived and never missed a day until I chased them off due to very heavy snow fall. All of their sub-contractors are top notch and nobody skimps with cheap materials. And even though they work several projects simultaneously they always make you feel like you are the single most important client they have.
They keep the project moving forward, on time and within budget. Please let me emphasize that again, on time and within budget. There were no financial surprises at any time along the way. They keep the work area and the grounds clean and are always polite and pleasant to work with.
I have recommended them and sung their praises to numerous neighbors and family members who are considering similar projects and I whole heartedly endorse them for your project.
When the recent Earthquake hit we instinctively ran to the new addition. Why? Because it was built better than the original house. What more can we say.

We've had Fine Remodel work on two separate jobs for us over the past 10 years or so. Both were pretty significant remodels of a 1930's house.

Both jobs were completed on time and within budget. What I particularly liked was Fine's commitment to communicate if problems arose. On the most recent job (about 1 year ago), we were replacing a linoleum floor and removing the old floor turned out to be especially difficult and therefore took about twice as long as expected. Fine took this challenge in stride, consulted with me about the problem. Together we made some adjustments to the sequence of events, and they still completed the project on time. The quality of their work is first class: their original work has stood the test of time.

If I need additional remodeling done, I will contact them first. I recommend them to everyone I know who needs remodeling done.

We used Fine Remodel to freshen up our 20 year old home. From beginning to end, they were professional, attentive, punctual, and their work was beautiful. Great customer service! I was hoping to remodel my large bathroom into two. After submitting an email inquiry on Fine Remodel's website, their employee, Debora, called me back the next day. She was so polite on the phone, kindly asking me about my project, and even though the scope of my project ended up being too small for what they specialize in, she offered to email me the names of some contractors who may be able to do the job. She did this at no benefit to herself or Fine Remodel, going out of her way and taking the time to follow up with me after the call. I'm so impressed! If I end up doing a larger, full-home renovation in the future, I will definitely contact Fine Remodel. Thank you, Debora!

Fine Remodel has recently completed a remodeling of our entire basement. Their people (including the owner of the company) have been amazing!
They have been very responsive to our needs, and respectful of our time and living space. The quality of work was superb. Any changes or unexpected findings were dealt with quickly and very fairly.
The project was completed in a timely manner.
We will unreservedly recommend Fine Remodel and we will use the company again if needed.
