Today I had Nate and Martin out to my house to investigate the air-conditioning problems with my home equipment. Martin was the technician who checked out my home AC unit top to bottom. I was very impressed by his professionalism and willing to answer questions and completely transparent on how he looked at all the equipment and gave me an informed assessment on its condition. Nate was the gentleman that looked at the house overall and made recommendations as to what the proper equipment should be used to provide optimal air-conditioning and heating for my house..Like Martin, I was impressed with his amount of expertise and willingness to explain any and all questions that I asked him in a thoughtful and easy to understand manner. Overall I was quite satisfied with the service Farwest provided.

Payton was friendly and knew his business! It worked when he arrived (The outside unit made a loud unusual noise when i had turned the air con on and was not cooling.). He checked it all out, off and on multiple times with no issue. He was kind enough to change out my filter also.

Woke up to a frosty house, heat went off in the night. Called and had a technician here in less than 30 minutes. Pleasant phone and dispatcher, and the technician resolved the issue quickly and professionally. Been using farwest at out past two houses and are quite pleased with the quality and prices of their work. They are the best.

Did a good job I believe the service text name was Justin found the problem it was the synchronizer had parts on hand little bit more than I wanted to pay but it's now day prices. Thanks so much for getting the job done in less than the day. Would recommend if you need it now instead of waiting two or three days.

I had Farwest come out to troubleshoot a heat pump system that they installed and Im not very happy with the results. Their technician found a couple of things that had gone wrong and gave me a list of parts that needed to be replaced; that was fine. But then he told me over the phone that my indoor coil was at risk of 'imminent failure' and that even with the repairs it should be replaced and not used, estimating 6-7k on the replacement. He tried to tell me that the furnace and indoor coil in my 6 year old home was from the 1990s. When I pointed out that the heat pump system, including the indoor coil, was just 5 years old and had been installed by his own company he got flustered and irritated and said that I must be overworking the system somehow. I looked at the rust when I got home and found it was minor, down on the drain pan where indoor coils always rust, with no corrosion on or near the coils themselves. So I replaced the parts he had listed and the heat pump still didn't work. I called out another company and their technician found the problem that Farwest missed and agreed with my assessment of the indoor coil condition: it's fine.

Tldr: their service techs need to be retrained to spend more time troubleshooting and ZERO time trying to sell new equipment. I will not use Farwest again.

Tyler and Juan have been excellent came over on Christmas Eve today diagnosed the problem and gave us our options without pressure of the best way to solve furnace issue. unfortunately it was some major problem that we have to replace, but we wouldn’t even have known the carbon monoxide hazard. We received excellent service from Farwest. They installed a heat pump system in our unique meandering old house, and it works great after more than 7 years (with periodic cleaning and routine maintenance).
A cheerful and knowledgeable technician just checked and cleaned our system, and it runs like brand new!

Technician Juan did an overall assessment of the gas fireplace and determined the next steps. He explained what he was going to do beforehand and performed the work in a very professional manner. He then provided written notes for operating the fireplace and walked me through all the operations. I give the highest recommendation for using Farwest Climate Control for your gas fireplace needs.

Amazing office employees. Our technician Luna was incredible. He is personable, smart, efficient & willing to take the time to get the real problem diagnosed. He was willing to call whomever he needed to get us fully taken care of. Most of all, he was transparent & honest. He is a great asset to this company!

Also, they have switched managers so if you had a problem with the previous manager then I encourage you to give them a second chance.

This is an update to my original post: Juan was my tech today, 11-27-24. He was here to do my 6 month maintenance and to look into an intermittenta noise that I had been hearing before I started using the heater on a regular basis. He took the time to find out what it was and ordered the part that will need to be replaced if the noise starts back up when I go back to using the AC. I have always been impressed by any of the employees that have come to my house or who I have spoken to on the phone.

The repairman found and fix a blue light box that may have been out for a while. Should be less dusty in house now.

Absolutely love this company, We have had them for about 11 years now and have never been disappointed. We always look forward to seeing Juan, plus he puts up with 3 cats supervising.Thank you to the office staff and Juan for all you do, it's very much appreciated.

myself. Though no one could predict when my existing system would fail, it was still quite a shock! However, each person I saw was professional, knowledgeable, courteous, and efficient and made each step in replacing my HVAC system smooth and as painless as possible.
