Customer feedback regarding Fairfax Insulation Systems is mixed, with a significant divide in experiences. While many reviews highlight the quality of workmanship and the professionalism of the installers, there are serious concerns about customer service and communication issues. Some customers reported incomplete jobs and difficulties in reaching the company for follow-ups, leading to significant frustration. The positive experiences often mention timely work and effective insulation, but the negative reviews emphasize severe lapses in service and management. Overall, this inconsistency suggests caution for potential customers considering their services.
- They worked quickly and did a great job.
- The installers were very knowledgeable and professional in providing this service.
- I appreciated the positive and professional attitudes of the workers.
- They came in at almost half the cost of a better-known competitor.
- The installation was professional and comprehensive, and the end result was immediately noticeable.
- The worst customer service and communication ever.
- Lack of communication at every step of the process.
- They scheduled 2 jobs, set dates and took my money then they didn’t show up.
- Truly disappointed with this company.
- After many painful conversations with them, we decided to let them fix their work since they already charged us the full amount without our permission.

Excellent work on our attic. A little more expensive but well worth it. Every contractor that has been up there since has been astounded by the high degree of workmanship.

Im sharing my deeply disturbing experience so people can learn from it and avoid this company. I contacted them to install foam insulation for my attic. It has been one of the worst experiences ever. I believe the company is running some kind of scam.
Here is a timeline of all the awful things that have occurred as a result of hiring Fairfax Insulation Systems
- I was informed that Fairfax Insultation Systems has split into 3 different companies now and that it was now called Lions Pride LLC.
- I paid half of the deposit prior to the job
- They arrived in a rented Penske van. One employee said it was their first day. He stepped through the eaves in the attic and damaged my ceiling (this was later repaired by the company).
- I paid the remainder of my balance. They autocharged my credit card this amount the day before they even completed the job even though the contract says it could only be charged after completion.
- The day after the job, a man came into my house demanding money from me. He did not knock on the door. He barged in. I was alone. He said he was a subcontractor and that he had not been paid by Fairfax Insulation/Lions Pride. Therefore, he wanted me to pay.
- A week later, we discovered that their workers had stepped on a pipe on our HVAC system in the attic and damaged it. The HVAC no longer operates.
- They promised they would pay to have it repaired. They have not. They continued promising this without action.
- They promised they would give me $2000 refund given all the problems with the subcontractor demanding money from me; however they have not refunded me anything. They continued promising this without action.
- It is 3 weeks after they completed the foam insulation job and the attic still smells like chemicals. When an inspector came, they said that the company did not mix the chemicals correctly and was very concerned for my health.
- The subcontractor still has not been paid for the job and calls me every day, threatening to put a mechanic's lien on my home for the amount they have not yet been paid by Lions Pride/Fairfax Insulation Systems
- Rober the Owner and Lilian his Manager said he would come by to inspect the faulty installation but he failed to and just ghosted us/did not show up.
In sum: I now have a damaged attic with foam that is difficult to uninstall; chemical fumes that will likely cause my family cancer; empty promises; people coming after me for money even though I have paid the company what was due.
I wish I was kidding.
My conclusion is that this company is run by unethical scam artists or scammers who do not pay bills, hire inexperienced subcontractors, have money issues, and who make false promises continually to string unsuspecting consumers along. The names of the people running this company are Robert and Lilian and it is deeply troubling to think about what experience you might have if you hire this company as it is run by people who are clearly not ethical. If you look at the review that mentions a fire at their house due to this company a few reviews back, based on my experience it is not surprising and what you should likely expect.

Fairfax Insulation Systems is no longer in business BUT the investors are wonderful people. They cut their losses before it was too late. Sorry to say that it was the management team that failed them.
The investors have a granite business that is thriving. They are very helpful and knowledgeable people.

Several factors influence roof repair cost, including the extent of the damage, roof accessibility, material type, labor costs, and whether it’s a general repair or an emergency fix. Minor repairs can start around $150–$400, while major repairs may exceed $1,500.
Roof leak repair cost generally ranges from $300 to $800, depending on the size and location of the leak, the materials required, and labor intensity. Complex leaks involving structural repairs or interior damage will cost more.
Flat roof repair cost for commercial properties usually ranges from $500 to $3,000, depending on the roofing material (TPO, EPDM, PVC), the extent of the damage, and roof accessibility.
Mobile home roof replacement cost typically ranges from $3,000 to $8,000, making it generally more affordable than traditional home roof replacements, due to smaller size and simpler structure.
It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.
The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.
To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.
Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.
When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.
Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
