The initial consultation was great, we inquired and within 24 hours someone got back to us and set everything up and that's about the time it ended. The crew that installed the deck was GREAT, on time and professional. The owner though has terrible communication. I felt like I was chasing him for updates on installation. After our deck was finished I attempted to contact the business 5 separate times and still have not received a response( emails, business webpage, business phone, as well as one of the representatives from the company when the deck was inspected). I was reaching out to have a second estimate done for more work and to inquire about pricing on a gate we were suppose to get information on, but apparently it isn't important for ez deck to have returning customers. The deck is beautiful and very well built which speaks volumes for ez decks installers but is not a reflection of professionalism of the owner. I would think that running a business where word of mouth is so important there would at least be some common courtesy to return one of the forms of communication even if they're unable to do the additional job.

We had a screened in porch completed by EZ Deck and we couldn’t be happier! We received several quotes, and EZ Deck was the cheapest. We gave Nick a budget and he was able to create our porch within that limit. The crew was professional and always willing to answer our questions. Start to finish, the project was completed exactly the way we envisioned!

We are very pleased with the deck Nick and his crew built for our house. He did an excellent job explaining our options when we were soliciting quotes, and his responsiveness made it easy for us to select EZ Deck. The workers were friendly and professional, explaining every morning what they would accomplish that day, then finishing exactly what they promised. I was personally very grateful for the care they took to leave the construction site clean and safe every day of the project; they knew we had dogs who run in our yard and–dog lovers that they are–they made sure everything was left out so our pups could enjoy a safe playtime every day. Once underway, construction went by quickly. The finished result is one we couldn’t be happier with! It looks and feels amazing, and it completes our backyard! We look forward to years of enjoying our new deck. Thanks, EZ Deck!

We never actually used EZ Deck because they took weeks to give us a written estimate after we asked repeatedly and they promised and missed deadlines. We explained that we needed a fast turnaround, they said not a problem, and then days/weeks passed. They might do good work, but the estimate/quote process is awful.

I have patiently waited for 18 months after the deck was constructed to write this review.

Numerous attempts at trying to reach this establishment formerly known as American Quality Construction (via text, calls, voicemail or social media) has either resulted in no response or a false promise. They have deleted my posts on their Facebook page instead of responding and have had utter disregard for my request for help.

They installed a faulty deck lighting transformer which has a mind of its own and chooses to supply electricity to only half the post lights for most of the time it’s in use.

They also installed a scratched up stair rail (which they attempted to fix by sanding the vinyl). But ended up further damaging as now a black spot shows through the white vinyl.

I am still waiting for them to come fix both issues as second season of spring / summer looms ahead.

For an owner and crew that tick almost all boxes it’s baffling as to why they have such disregard to following up and providing warranty support.

I do feel let down and hope that no else goes through this pain and are aware while they engage this construction company.
