From the beginning, Steve was helpful and professional. We only waited 3 days after the quote to have our work done which was much quicker than I expected! Steve was accessible at all hours of the day, gave us a very fair price, and made sure the work was done correctly. We appreciated that Steve gave us a style and size recommendation for our gutters. He really cared that the job was done correctly AND looked good. We are beyond grateful and ready for the rain!

I can’t say enough good things about Marathon Restorations and the quality of workmanship we received when we got our roof replaced in October. Steve was incredibly thorough during our initial consultation, inspecting the roof for any weather damage that could justify an insurance claim, and reviewing the process and materials with us in depth. It was clear that he is extremely knowledgeable and we felt confident in the quality he would provide.

We compared 3 estimates and thought Marathon was the best value for our investment, and we’re so glad we went with them. The installation took only a few days, they covered precious landscaping to protect it during the process and the yard was immaculate when they left. Seriously, I was home during the tear out and was anxious watching all the debris fall all over the place, but the guys spent a ton of time painstakingly raking all the lawn and flower beds until they were completely clear. And Steve even helped us navigate an electrical issue by having an electrician come out first thing the following day to minimize any inconvenience.

In the end, we’re very happy with our decision to use Marathon Restorations and would absolutely recommend them to others. Not only is the quality of the roof top notch, but Steve is just a wonderful person to work with.

Marathon Restorations has done two difficult projects for me with the restoration of my 120+ yo home (siding and roof). Steve is extremely diligent, personable and knowledgeable. Steve goes the extra 26 miles (marathon pun) for his customers. His contractors work very hard and do excellent work, both times arriving early and working late each day to get the jobs done perfectly and timely. My call was answered immediately, and the response was to conduct an inspection and assess the damage. Marathon Restorations came to my home, took all necessary pictures, and wrote up an estimate the same day. At the end of the week, the work was complete, and my roof looked brand new. From the beginning to the end of my project Steve was attentive to every detail. Unlike my previous remodeling experiences, Steve did what he promised. If he promised Tuesday he was there. Astonishing and wonderful. He kept in touch and kept me constantly updated. Steve never asked for payments. When I offered he always said, “not until I am sure everything is perfect.” A man of integrity. A man of his word.

I would highly recommend this company. There were prompt, respectful of my property, and kept me informed with every step of the process. They even provided photos of the roof damage and the repair .

When a storm caused water to pour into my house in early January, I knew that I would need to file an insurance claim to rectify the damage. I looked up companies that specialize in correcting damage while working with insurance companies, and Marathon Restorations was at the top of the list. I called and spoke with the owner Steve Dietz. He was in the area and was at my house surveying the damage within the hour. It was evident that I was going to need substantial work, which understandably made me nervous when considering the potential cost and labor required. Steve put my mind at ease. His knowledge and experience in dealing with insurance companies was clear as he explained the claim, approval, and reimbursement process. He let me know each aspect of the roof that I would need to pick, including the single color and replacement skylight. He also made stylistic suggestions so that the shingles and the flashing would match. I appreciated that because I was already over my head with decision making and I felt very comfortable accepting his suggestions, though he made it clear that there was no pressure to do so. Most importantly, as we needed to find a window of good weather in January/February to do the job, Steve saw that there was a Saturday where he would be able to fit my job in, and he scheduled me and ordered materials with only 3 days to go before installation. He came to my house to take exact measurements, write up the quote, and take my deposit in person while speaking to the supply house so the materials could be delivered on Friday afternoon. He managed the logistics spectacularly and I can corroborate that because I was part of the discussion.

Marathon's crew came in trucks that were wrapped with his branding. They thoroughly tarped my house and moved all plants and garden decor so they wouldn't get crushed by falling debris. They were completely honest about what they identified after the shingles were pulled off and revealed more rotted boards than initially anticipated, as well as cracked rafters. At the end of the process, they "dropped a roof on the house" in one day, as promised. My yard was nearly spotless. You could barely tell that they had been there and filled up a dumpster the size of my driveway with roofing materials. In fact, they went above and beyond and helped me bring a large item out of my house to put on the dumpster while they were there.

The team was professional, kind, and informative. Steve was an awesome communicator throughout the entire process, going so far as to send me 70+ detailed photos of the job to share with my adjuster. I can't say enough good things about how well he helped me manage the beginning of a very stressful unintended renovation due to water damage by "stopping the bleeding" at it's source. I am going to have Steve/Marathon Restorations back again to replace my siding in the future. I can highly recommend this company based on my experience and I hope you'll consider using them as well.

Can’t say enough about Marathon Restorations and the amazing work they did replacing our siding a few weeks ago. We had some extensive hail and water damage that needed to be rectified asap (sleeping downstairs, carpets pulled up, etc) and anticipated a battle with our homeowners insurance over it. Steve Dietz came over, assessed the damage, called our insurance company with us, was there for the inspection and made sure they knew that this was an urgent issue that needed to be rectified. Steve had a crew at our house about a week later working on our siding despite a low estimate from our insurance and assured us that we wouldn’t pay a cent above our deductible because he was knowledgeable enough to know that as long as we were sending them photos of the damage and repair along the way that they would cover the entire repair. Within a week we had new siding, new house and window wraps, and our insurance covered the entire repair as he assured us they would. Steve and the crew he sent over were professional, knowledgeable, and extremely hard working. They went above and beyond what any contractor we have ever worked with typically does. With the damage repaired, we were able to get back to life as normal much quicker than we had anticipated.

Working with Steve was a great experience. After the inspection he worked closely with me through the entire process and working with the insurance company when additional conversations were needed. I would recommend him and his business for your roofing and siding needs.

I submitted an on-line appointment request in the evening and I quickly received a text that he could come the next morning. He came on time, quickly found the problem, and got his crew to fix my leak. I was stressed because it was supposed to rain the next two days and I was concerned about water continuing to leak through the roof. But he got it fixed and now I can relax about the coming rain.

Steve and his crew from Marathon Restorations were wondeful. Steve provided me (and my neighbor) a quote to combine both our roofs, which made for an easy decision to award the work to his business. Steve delivered in all aspects of the project, from meeting with me to assess the work, proposal delivery with budget alignmemt, and timeline to get the work scheduled and completed.
