Exterior Source installed new windows in my older home. The difference was immediate. The sun comes in but the heat stays out. Even the window with afternoon sun coming in stays cool to the touch. Ray and Ross and their team were professional, personable and honest. When the guys were done with installation, I inspected inside and out. If it weren’t for the beautiful new windows I wouldn’t have known they had been here. It’s even better than I expected. I highly recommend Exterior Source.

This company just did an amazing job on my home in Williamsburg!! They put in new windows siding and gutters. The team was extremely professional in every aspect. The job went seamlessly.
The on site manager Nick was great with his guys. The siding team was some of the hardest workers I've ever seen. With the temperatures near 100 degrees they didn't miss a beat. Each day they cleaned up after themselves so well it was like nothing had even happened. The windows were installed by a wonderful man that had been doing it for over 25 years. The beautiful gutters were the finishing touches. The gutter team was very experienced and totally knew what they were doing. All in all this whole company has impressed me! Called for Estimate, felt very uncomfortable with the questions asked by woman on the phone. Person came out to give Estimate and they asked personal questions as well, that made me feel like, what does this or that have to do with getting an Estimate? Despite that, he was knowledgeable and professional to a point.

*** In response to Owner, this was my own personal experience and feeling, I can't speak for anyone else who left a review and how they feel/felt. Most people do not like being asked about their work and living situation, just to get an estimate for work to be done. It makes people feel cringy and uncomfortable. Other than that, it was okay for the most part.

Chris and his team did a great job replacing missing shingles. Was recommended to me by two of my co workers. Anyone looking to have roof work done, these are your guys.

What a great experience! Our old wooden deck had seen better days and we thought we'd replace it with a concrete slab.
This company no longer does concrete pours because, as they explained to me ~ on the peninsula, there are 2 types of concrete; that which has cracked and that which is fixing to crack. It's true!
We went with their paver suggestion and could not be happier with the results.

The sales team (Ray & Jason) were informative, respectful and kind. They explained all of my options and didn't pressure me to go one way or another.
The installation team was friendly and efficient. They are masters at what they do. My new patio and walkway are beautiful. I can't wait to get this paid off so that I may have them come back and do another project!

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. From initial email saying I was interested in the company to the final installed product was better than 5 stars. This company is as professional and customer service focused as you can expect. The salesperson, Shane, was very knowledgeable, friendly, and responsive and really sold me and my wife on their company and the product they recommended. He worked with my schedule and my work location to meet me when it was convenient for me. After the sale, he assured me that the project manager assigned to the job would be present for the entire job and make sure he delivered on what Shane promised. That was an understatement. Our project manager, Nick, was so easy to work with and just as friendly, knowledgeable, and responsive as Shane. Nick made me aware of some unexpected issues that his crew came across and worked with me and my comfort level to make sure everything was handled accordingly. He uncovered what could have been a major issue and he worked with me and my solution to the issue and was extremely accommodating. The work crew were extremely knowledgeable, friendly, and professional. I have absolutely nothing negative to say about my experience with Exterior Source and I would recommend them to anyone.

Just called for an estimate and after I advised my schedule I was questioned about “my husbands” schedule, so they could make sure he would be there. I don’t need a second person to assist with a quote or a purchase for that matter. It was rude and presumptuous. I cancelled the estimate and you lost a female customer that can make her own decisions, married or not.

Our gutter installed on one side of our boat hoist is working wonderfully keeping the rainwater from falling down onto our bulkhead and washing away the soil! We are very satisfied with the sales rep who arrived at our home to give us an estimate, the installer who completed the job and the office staff. Highly recommend!

We contacted Exterior Source for gutter screens since we had used the company at a previous home for other work. The quoting process was great and the work was done fast. However, we noticed an issue after install that had us question something. We reached out to our salesman about the problem and he said he would bring it up with the production manager but we never heard from anyone. All ended up being resolved after talking to the office though. We would use them again it was just a bit frustrating that someone didn't do what they said they would do.

We had a great experience with Exterior Source from the friendly man who came out to do the estimate to the crew that came to do the install. The turnaround time was excellent, communication was excellent and we’re very happy with our gutters. Military discount too!!

Got an estimate, didn't like the price. They offered via text to contact me with a special price. Another person called me and said they couldn't give me the amount, rather the sales person would need to come onsite again. Scheduled the appointment and got the same price as before. Three stars for disorganization and wasting my time.

Overall, happy with the job. However, I don’t wanna nik pick but when your customers are purchasing something from you and your company and the price tag is in the thousands I would think a little follow up from the company and/or the salesperson would be the ideal cherry on top. Salespeople are your bread and butter, they are the face of your company for whatever it is they are selling. A little follow up isn’ too much to ask.

Great job repairing our 1900-built house with state of the art materials that look like original wood. Awesome. These guys are artists.

I had a 2 day project with replacing gutters and siding, they showed up on time make sure clean up was done before they left. Im very satisfied with the work my neighbors like what my house looks like. I would recommend them to anyone.

Exterior Source replaced some cedar siding in bad shape with Hardiplank siding. They did an excellent job from helping chose the right product to installation and clean up. They showed up when they said they would, did what they said they would, when they said they would and as they said they would. Above and beyond expectations. If you need work done of any kind, I would not hesitate to call them again. They were fast, efficient, pleasant, reasonably priced and worked hard to get things just right.

From the photo you can see that we only had the top part done (and chimney), but not the lower part of the house that we tried to match. May replace it all at a future date. We still have some painting to do that we did not contract for with them, so just look at the siding. So much better than the rot and fungus covered cedar. We would have had it all done but for our fixed income and they were the same or less than other bids.

Last Monday, Ross and Joe replaced my back sliding door. They are very professional as well as being friendly and considerate.
I also had gutters installed on Wednesday but I did not catch the guys names...they also were quick and professional.

We are returning customers of Exterior Source having previously had them install LeafGuard gutters, trim wrap, and storm doors. We were very satisfied with their product quality, workmanship, and product guarantees. This time we had them replace our home's and shed's roofs. We recently experienced some wind roof damage with the roof being over 20 years old. We knew Exterior Source did roofing jobs and saw their TV ads promising some discounts as well as senior and military discounts. We contacted them and got the job under contract at a reasonable price. I write this review a day after job completion. Their gutter team came out on a Monday to remove the gutter system. The roof team were here the following Tuesday and Wednesday, and the gutter team returned on the Thursday to reinstall the gutters. The roofing team, led by Mr. Nick Montgomery, did a fantastic job removing the old roof, replacing some rotted wood pieces on the shed roof, correcting the previous roofing mistakes on a flat section of our roof, and installed a new roof using the latest designed materials. Just as before, Exterior Source uses exceptional products installed by expert employees and backed by reliable guarantees at a reasonable price. Their sales, installing, and management employees are friendly and very knowledgeable about their products. I would like to acknowledge the expertise in all phases of the roofing job of their onsite project manager, Mr. Nick Montgomery. Exterior Source is very fortunate to have him on their staff. Had leaf filter gutters installed by Exterior Source 9 years ago. This is the first time having to call for a minor backup. They were very responsive and scheduled us for a cleaning within a few days of the call.

I no longer have to climb a ladder to remove debris from my gutters! When it rains heavily, the larger gutters are able to handle the flow (no more showers at the back door from the overflow). Quick installation, the team cleaned up well, removing the old gutters. I highly recommend this company.

We love our gutters, they look great, do the gob, and have added value to our home since the warranty transfers to a new owner if we were ro sell our home.

I had to spend the money for the gutter system upfront, but it saving me money and headaches. My fence line runs parallel to woods which means the leaves always found their way into my gutters all year round until now. I have worked with Representative Michael Cole from Exterior Source several times this year for a new front door, back door, large picture window (on second story) replacing an old one, removing old siding and replacing with insulated siding (Cedarboards) and replacing old window wraps with new. Representative Michael Cole came to my home and was very patient with my numerous questions and worked with me on all of my concerns with each of these projects. When it came time for each project, the Production Supervisor, Ross Thompson and the Project Manager, Nick Montgomery, and all of their team members were consummate professionals in every way. They were on time, did the job completely and accurately and cleaned up after themselves. Also, dealing with the office staff (Jenny, Ashley and others) was good in that they were very attentive to my needs and questions. Anytime I had a question or concern, all employees at Exterior Source were there to help. This is important because home improvement is an expensive venture and you want to make sure your hard-earned money that you are spending is going to a company that has professional employees and staff and that the products they sell and put into your home, are of high quality. So if you can't tell by now that I would highly recommend them, then go back and re-read this review!

Ray Hampton was an excellent salesperson! He gave a thorough overview of how Exterior Source would carry out the project and was transparent about cost and schedule. The work was completed on time and exactly how Ray described. We were extremely pleased with the entire project.

Despite being a higher price point than we were expecting, after such a fun and exceptional meeting with David, we decided to go with Exterior Source to build a deck, later adding fascia/soffit work and leaf guard installation. Everyone that was involved was courteous, thorough, hard-working, and quick. Every step of the way we were informed on the plan. No messes were left and any concerns we had were addressed immediately. Although we were hoping the work would be started sooner, permits, material acquisition, and weather hung up the process a bit but that was no matter; once the work began, it was done well within two weeks. This was much faster than we could have hoped and it was done well before a milestone birthday party we were planning; we were even able to have guests outside on the deck whereas if we kept the old deck we all would’ve ended up on the ground. Everything looks great and we feel great having a well-constructed deck and sleek new gutters.

I originally had Exterior Source put leaf guard gutters on my house back in 2016. They’ve been great, and I have no complaints whatsoever. In August of this year, a tree branch fell on our sunroom and damaged the leaf guard gutter on that portion of the house.also, the tree damaged my roof and tore the soffit off. After the repairs were made to the roof and the soffit, I called leaf guard, and they promptly came out and reviewed the damage and came up with an acceptable. Intended to remove a leaking skylight and ultimately elected to remove all six and replace the full roof. Smooth and "non-pressure" evaluation of needs and exceptional completed job! I had previously used this company for gutters and was also pleased. This is a beach house with the associated bare feet, and I overheard Nick (project supervisor) emphasize to the installation team that not one nail could be left behind. Very professional and would highly recommend.
