Rusty and one of his crews recently replaced all of the old Masonite hardboard siding on my house, wrapped the wooden fascia boards with aluminum, installed vinyl soffit, and replaced the gutters. The crew was professional, quick, and had great housekeeping. Their work turned out incredible.

Exterior Siding Solutions, Rusty in particular, has been a joy to work with over the years! We originally hired ESS in 2022 for a siding, gutter, replacement doors and basement window project. Both my husband and I are engineers, and were particular regarding maintenance, quality, cosmetic appearance, durability, value, etc. Ultimately, we chose a combination of Hardie Board for the gables and insulated siding for the walls. Rusty was so helpful with selecting colors for the exterior siding/gutter materials and also the doors and windows. He was always responsive and on the job everyday with his wonderful crew.

Fast forward to a week ago, during a basement bathroom project involving an exhaust fan vented to an outside wall through the siding. Rusty quickly helped us with getting an exhaust vent cover to match our siding and then installed it hassle-free at a very reasonable cost.

Exterior Siding Solutions turned out to be one of the best decisions that we have made in selecting a contractor for our home renovations. From beginning to end, Rusty provided a very relaxed and enjoyable experience. There were no high-pressure selling tactics, and he was very thorough in his presentation on project details and expectations. After hearing such positive reviews on Rusty, I was eager to reach out. He bid my project pre-Covid and assured me how he was the owner would take such good care of us as it was an "easy job" etc. We ended up postponing the work due to Covid and I circled back with him recently about scheduling my job. He chucked at the size of my job and said he had enough work and wasn't taking smaller jobs like mine and then hung up on me. I understand if things changed or maybe he was having a bad day but the way he handled the call was extremely unprofessional. Hopefully if you have a bigger job he'll be nicer to you.

Great overall experience. They installed premium vinyl siding and new gutters on my 2-story house. I'm pleased with how it turned out. The owner is hands-on and communicates well. He's always available to answer questions throughout the process. He was patient with us as we decided on colors and the type of siding we wanted. He gave us good advice on what would work best with the design of our home. The crew had to work through some tough weather conditions, but they worked hard to get the job done in a timely manner without sacrificing quality. As an across the street neighbor of a customer I am extremely disappointed in this company. Not only did they leave a dog locked in a car most of the morning, the dog owner / employee was happy to treat my yard as his own including giving me a dirty look as he walked the dog through my lawn as I unpacked my car in my driveway.

Other employees watched as my wife picked waste that was in a puddle in our driveway that was left over from their job site. Again, I live across the street from the customer!

I was extremely pleased with the siding job Exterior Siding Solutions did on my house. If you want excellent workmanship with integrity you won't be disappointed. I wanted the high maintenance cedar on my house to be replaced with a siding that had the look of real cedar without all the upkeep, and that is just what I got! My house has the character and charm of real deep grain cedar. People are in fact surprised to learn it's not cedar. My house looks gorgeous, if I do say so myself. I knew I was in good hands from the first day I met with Rusty, the owner of the company. He was meticulous with ever detail. He came out to my house on several occasions before the job began to contemplate every aspect of my challenging house. It is a contemporary house with lots of odd angles and Rusty studied each and every one. He came to know my house like the back of his hand. After having a terrible experience with another siding company, we were very hesitant to go with another smaller company. Rusty put us at ease immediately. He had the task of correcting the terrible, unprofessional and amateur work of another company, a task the bigger companies did not want to touch. Not only did he make it right, but he completed the job in three days...after waiting 8 months on the other company.
We wanted Celect Shake siding and Rusty is the only person in the area that knows how to install the product correctly. Rusty treated us like family, we never felt like we were being taken advantage of. He is a man of his word. Exterior Siding Solutions transformed my home. Home was in desperate need of siding on sides and back of my home and I didn't really know what to do to the front. The front has a stucco finish with cedar boards and beams. It was a very popular style in the late 70's. Trusting Rusty's advice and expertise, the front was transformed under his guidance. Very detailed work by his fine crew getting rid of some of the beams and wrapping all the cedar boards. Fantastic job.

Our story:
We had Rusty do the siding on our house. Previously we had wood siding (ugly with lots of issues). Rusty worked very hard for us and with us to determine the best siding we could afford. Other companies wanted around $5000 - $7000 more for the exact same products. His team took about a week to do our -rather large- house. There was lots to do and Rusty made sure it was all done well and in a timely manner. I have a keen eye and the details are everything for me - I'm a perfectionist. I was pleasantly surprised to have all my expectations met and some of them exceeded.

A year before we met Rusty, we had a different company do our roof. That experience was a disaster - I wish we had known about Rusty then (Exterior Siding Solutions does roofs too). So 1/2 a year ago, we had a massive hail storm. The 'new' roof was less than 2 yrs old. *ungh* Naturally I called Rusty and he came out to have a look. We went up on the roof and checked things out and he boiled it down quite well: Yes, there's hail damage, but nothing that would indicate the roof's integrity was compromised and that it probably had a good long life ahead of it. The part that should stand out for you is what he told me:

"Yes, it probably would be covered under your Home Owner's Insurance policy, but it wouldn't be worth the Black Mark in the long run."

We had many other "Storm Chaser" roofing companies tell us there was hail damage all over and how terrible it was and ...yadda yadda yadda. (which after hopping up w/ Rusty, I could see was extreme exaggeration) Only Rusty was truly concerned for OUR well being and what work was truly warranted.

I just bought a house 1 week ago. I started to notice some issues with my siding. I asked Rusty for a quote on new siding. He said that I really didn't need new siding to fix my issues. He gave me a plan of attack to handle my issues that would be far more cost effective. I appreciated him coming over to look at my issues and talking me through a plan of attack, especially when I got quote just hours earlier from another company for $30,000 to completely replace the siding.

After 5 bids, I chose Exterior Siding solutions as the contractor to side my house. I chose Crane vinyl siding with the foam backing, along with soffits, fascia, porch columns, and gutters replaced. Rusty Gregory, the owner is personable and attentive to details and craftsmanship in his crew's work. A crew of six worked and completed the job in two days. Rusty continued to check in on the progress and walked around the site to insure the work was done properly and to my satisfaction. On both days the crew worked throughout the day and did an excellent job leaving the site as clean as they found it upon arrival. Rusty was easy to work with and answered all my questions. He has a through knowledge of his product line and takes pride in doing a great job. If I had any kind of concern, he always responded to my calls or E-mails on the same day.

I chose Andersen 100 windows made of Fibrex, twice as strong as vinyl. His crew also replaced our aging siding and did excellent metal trim work around the windows. They worked quickly and carefully.
