We’ve used Exceptional Exteriors for two major projects at home. A difficult retaining wall in a city backyard where access was tricky and a front porch rebuild. We have been absolutely thrilled with the results. Fair prices for exceptional work from kind decent people!!

We used Exceptional Exteriors to completely renovate an old, small back porch area into a much larger and spacious deck that we can now enjoy, and the results are beautiful! The quality of the work to completely transform our backyard and the professionalism of the crew and owner went beyond our expectations and we would highly recommend Exceptional Exteriors! We could not be happier with the choice to use this company as our experience was so easy, pleasant, and timely and the results are gorgeous. Five stars plus!

We had terrible storms that blew off numerous shingles on our roof on 4-29-25. I called Exceptional Exteriors & Renovations because I used them previously on a rental house that I own. They came out quickly and provided me a reasonable estimate. They made our roof a priority since we had a tarp covering our damaged roof. Their work was done efficiently and effectively. I appreciate the work they did for us.

I had the pleasure of working with the great team at Exceptional Exteriors to replace the siding for my house. From the start, the service that I received was tremendous. Mick and Dennis made sure that they communicated with me throughout the entire process so I would know what to expect and when materials were being delivered. Marvin did an excellent job of putting the siding up and insuring that the job was done right. Not only does the siding look beautiful but all of the little touches that they added really make everything pop. The cost was very reasonable and the time to complete the work was only a total of 6 days - and that was because of the rain. This was the third project that Exceptional has completed for me at my home in the last several years. You will be given a fair and honest price, a team that sincerely cares about the quality of work completed, and a team that communicates with you personally from the front office to the crew, the sales department to the owner.

Our roof was done by them. We wanted to get ahead by getting our roof replaced, had zero issues with our current roof we had. They came , did the roof, were smoking weed in my driveway, messed up the roof, came back, told me it was “ fixed. “ it’s now causing severe water damage in my house. Through the walls, ceiling, attic, etc. Do not fall for the reviews or gimmicks. I’m assuming most of these people just haven’t realized the problems are there yet. I’ve called, with zero call or attempt to reach out. Will be going with another roofer to fix the damage they have caused. Do yourself a favor, read all reviews and do all research before trusting a “ company “

If i could give them zero stars, I would. I had them replace my roof 12 years ago. After 3 costly repairs to my roof(as well as interior damage caused by faulty installation), I am now replacing my roof. Much sooner than I had been promised by my salesman and the owner. I called them in my first two repairs and was told that the wind pulled shingles off and that I'm too far out of the city for them to repair it. (I'm in Westmoreland County.) Multiple contractors and 2 insurance companies have told me that my roof issues are due to improper installation and that my roof was "a mess".(by the way, installation issues aren't covered by insurance so all of your repairs will be paid for out of your own pocket. ) i would rather climb on my roof and fix it myself than allow them anywhere near my home. I wouldn't trust a word that they say. They don't offer a guarantee on their workmanship. They'll just take your money and then leave you to deal with a leaky roof that will cause you thousands of dollars to fix. Do yourself a favor and call anybody by them.

I can’t recommend enough. The whole crew was fantastic. My roof and siding are perfect and it was replaced in under a week. If you need exterior work don’t look elsewhere. Book immediately!!!

I have used Exceptional Exteriors for a number of projects including a metal porch roof and soffit and fascia. Their team is fast and efficient and very easy to work with. I would definitely recommend them for any home improvement or replacement project.

When the 4/29/25 storm devastated our roof and gutters, we needed a name of a roofer we could trust. I count ourselves as extremely fortunate to have been given the name and cell phone number for Roman Glutzman with Exceptional Exteriors, along with a glowing review. Roman called us back within minutes, came out the next morning, had one of his crew come back that day to protect our home from the forecast of rain by patching the parts of our roof damaged (one tree branch was through our roof into our attic), and then have our roof and gutters replaced within a few days. His quote was very reasonable, as well. The job was beautifully and quickly done (two days) and Roman stayed in touch with us throughout the process to make sure everything was going well. He even had his crew take pictures and a video of the roof damage and the new roof, which he sent to us. The video was enormously helpful in our insurance claim. I cannot praise Roman, his crew, and the company enough. Five stars!

roof never leaked. chimney never leaked. not until i gave these crooks 13,000 dollars. the owner argued with me that it wasn't on them. here i am three years later now getting more water damage on my top floor. i'd love to sue these ppl for damages. i sincerely hope you get other estimates. i should've went the amish route like i was planning on. these guys sold me on a warranty that i don't know how to use if i need to use it. thank you for being twice as much as what i would've paid for expert work. and thanks for sending out two guys screaming at each other all day in my quite neighborhood. lastly the quality of customer service extended to the last time they came out and out and put a new cap on my chimney....while the same two that scream and argue at each other all day decided to take a job well done break on my property line almost in the neighbors yard to smoke a celebratory bowl for a job that wasn't even close to well done. terrible. crooks argumentative. only pro i dealt with was the contracting crew leader...he was just a ground guy so not on the roof much

Very pleased with my roof replacement. Crew was friendly and professional. All debris was removed after completing the job. I highly recommend to anyone else who's considering a roof replacement!

terrible work. my gutters leaked worse after they installed them. They came out 4 times and still did not fix the problem. I kept calling Dennis and told him about the gutters . They quit returning my calls and responding to my emails.

Update : I have upgraded my review to 5 stars from 1 star. After miscommunication contact was made 2 1/2 years later and they came back to my house and repaired the gutters. The gutters are fantastic now. This company stood behind their work well beyond their guarantee. I am extremely satisfied.

I worked with Ari who was so kind and helpful. We were able to figure out the best deck build option to fit my budget. Unfortunately, I had to cancel the project due to unexpected financial issues. They were so easy to work with. I will definitely go back to them if I need anything in the future. Thank you!

We love our new deck! We had an old window off our kitchen on the second floor. We often looked out imagining how beautiful a deck would be to enjoy sunrise and sunset. We finally called Exceptional Exteriors and the owner came out right away to discuss our options. The sliding glass door and deck was built within weeks and it’s beautiful! Edit/addition since installation on 1/29/25: The roof over my garage developed a leak 40 days ago at which time I notified everyone there who I had a number or email for about the leak. I was told that I would get a call from someone. Then I was told that I'm on their "service log". The price of the roof ($12,900) was reasonable. I'm disappointed that they didn't honor their 10-year warranty in a timely manner.

We hired Exceptional Exteriors to replace our patio roof. Chris and Whitey were among the hardest working contractors we ever had here. They worked right through the cold spell when the temperature was below zero. Apparently, these guys don’t feel cold! The work was top quality and got done quickly and efficiently. We would hire them again without hesitation.

Roman provided competitive pricing and is just a very knowledgeable guy when it comes to home improvement. He provided a new roof and 20+ windows at 2 different properties of mine. Both jobs were completed on schedule!

I want to give a personal Thank You to Roman and his crew for their efforts to expedite our roof replacement. We developed a leak after the most recent wind storm and they managed to plan and complete the entire project within one day, during the first break in the weather.

We used Exceptional Exteriors & Renovations for a major basement renovation -- getting the walls down to the studs, redoing the walls, ceiling, floor, installing cabinets, and completely redoing a defunct bathroom. Roman was wonderful to work with and responsive during the entire process. Nate did the vast majority of the labor and was top notch. When questions arose or we weren't totally sure how to proceed, they were happy to provide guidance and worked with us to get things done. We are very pleased with how everything turned out!

I simply don't know where to begin.

About 7-8 years ago, they replaced my gutters, soffit & fascia. Fast forward to late June 2024, I decided that it was time to redo my entire exterior. So, I went online and put what I wanted done along with my information. As soon as I submitted my information, alllll these companies began calling me DAILY. I became overwhelmed and put it on the back burner.

About three days later, Ari from EXCEPTIONAL EXTERIORS called me and told me that he remembered doing work on my home. I thought he was bsing and just trying to make a sale..
I still wasn't sure who I wanted to go with, so I went on about life and didn't really put any more thought back into it...

Three wks later, a rep from EXCEPTIONAL EXTERIORS calls and asks if I'd make time to meet with them. I just wanted to get off the phone, so I gave a quick, "Yeah, ok, sure."

Once I saw who it was that they'd sent for the consult, I smiled because he, in fact, was the same person (Ari) who had my gutters and things replaced in the years prior!

We both laughed, gave each other a hug & sat down to discuss what I wanted. He quoted a GREAT price. Much lower than the other companies.

Tbh, I didn't think I'd get approved for the loan because I thought I had too much debt. Enter the owner, Roman, and once he received my application, he assured me that I'd get approved because I have excellent credit. I was still skeptical, but somehow, he made it happen!!

Work began about 3 days later & Roman sent the BEST 2 workers to do the job, Funez & Felipe. They were EXTREMELY polite, professional, and precise with EVERYTHING... When I tell you how they LAID my home out! I mean it! It's a WHOLE new look! I, along with my neighbors LoooooVe it!!

Initially, we had a smaller job. A few windows to be replaced. Nonetheless, by the timeliness and professionalism in scheduling the job and getting the job done, we were already quite impressed. Many are the "horror stories" about companies that agreed to do the job who just disappeared.

Recently, we needed to have the whole front and back porch redone, not a small job. We could see other work that EE&R did in the neighborhood and we were happy to turn to Roman again.
The quality of the work done, the work ethic of the two brothers that completed the job and Roman ensuring all along the way that we were pleased on how things were progressing, made us feel well taken care of and in great experts hands.

After 21 years in our home we finally decided to get: new windows, horizontal siding, soffit, fascia, gutters, and downspouts. This was our first major home improvement project and we were super nervous! We contacted several companies to get estimates and we’re dismayed to find that most window companies weren’t currently doing siding, and we really wanted 1 company to do everything! We found Exceptional Exteriors and discovered their prices were awesome, and they would be able to handle all of our renovations! Once work started, it was completed within 7 business days! Every member of their team was a pleasure to deal with, from Brad our project manager, Ralph our window installer, and the team that came out for the siding, everyone was polite and we looked forward to seeing them the next day. They were super hard working, down to earth people, who didn’t judge the dust bunnies under my couch! We ended up putting French doors in where a window had been and it’s beautiful! They even installed our self purchased shutters and lighting fixtures. We were 100% comfortable with the process, and inviting them into our home! We have found our home renovation company to do all our future projects. Exceptional Exteriors just put new siding on our townhouse. Wow! “Exceptional” is the definition of truth in advertising. Their work was terrific. We couldn’t be happier. What can we say about this company? If we could give them more stars, we would. It’s the best of the best. First of all, everyone except the owner and electrician named Mike, Mike cabinets, Mike/does it all, and Mike, plumber. No matter who came to do the work, no mess left behind. This kitchen was the major project: literally gutted to bare frame and rebuilt. No matter how small/simple or how big/complicated of the jobs are, this team got them done right.

Working with Exceptional Exteriors was a mixed bag for us. The work was completed, but we had some issues we are not happy about. I can only recommend them with serious hesitation.

First, the good things: the actual team of workers on the job were very respectful of our property. They worked efficiently, cleaned up thoroughly, and were friendly. We also appreciated having a detailed contract before work began, and we felt that in the planning stage, communication was fair enough.

After the work was completed, we were mostly happy with the final product. There were a few places that the sealant around the garage door was not applied fully. When we complained, Exceptional Exteriors did send a worker back to fix those spots within a fair timeframe.

BUT, the VP/Sales Person did not communicate well with his team of workers, so the team ended up caulking around ALL of our windows, which is something we did NOT ask or want them to do.

IF caulking had been done properly, it would've been a nice touch that they added it for us. However, the caulk was applied terribly. They did not first scrape off the old caulk, but just applied new caulk very unevenly, very sloppily on top. It is a noticeably bad job on our front windows and will require extra work to hire another company to come and fix it.

We took photos of the situation to document and passed it along to the VP/Sales Person. He showed up to our home unannounced the following day, expecting full payment, and told us: he "didn't see anything wrong" with the job they completed. He tried to suggest that they did us a favor by doing this extra work on our home which we did not ask or want for them to do.

Ultimately when the owner viewed the photos, he agreed that the caulking job was bad around the windows and was not completed properly. They told us they didn't have staff who could do it better than that, so the company took off a few hundred dollars from the final payment. We are still left trying to find other contractors to undo the terrible caulk job.

We had them do the vinyl siding. The house is 100 years old and now looks wonderful. Dennis and his crew are amazing to work with. Very hard working crew. I would recommend them to anyone. Nice job!

Professional and diligent. Main roof and two porch roofs in less than 8 hours. I would highly recommend Exceptional Exteriors to anyone. Reasonably priced.

Not reliable. Not trustworthy. If there is an issue don’t expect it to be done in a reasonable amount of time. Don’t expect your job be done correctly the first time. Expect to pay more and get less. Been lied to, ignored, cheated and charged extra.
