I was in communication with Richard of Evergreen to set up a siding upgrade for my house in Nampa, and he could not have made the process easier! We had to coordinate with an abatement specialist to remove old asbestos cement siding and it was smooth as silk getting everything lined up in no time flat. Very nice, polite, punctual and detail-oriented. Will definitely keep y'all in mind when we need more work down the road!

I called Evergreen after reading about them on Yelp, looking for gutter cleaners. Richard picked up the phone and offered to give me some recommendations, since gutter cleaning is not something they do. Once we got to chatting I asked them to come out to inspect the roof. Richard proposed a time same day and offered to blow out the gutters while he was up there for no charge. He called me when they were about 30 minutes out and arrived promptly as promised with his colleague Lake.
They did a thorough inspection of the roof, blew out the gutters, and then blew the leafs out cleaning the ground. They took pictures of the roof and the gutters, and showed me the condition of everything. They also took a look at the siding and the windows.

As it turned out, the roof is in a good condition, as is much of the rest of the siding and windows. But what I appreciated the most is their honesty and not trying to upsell me on unnecessary services. When I offered to pay something for them blowing out the gutters - as they literally saved me $200 for a cleaning service - they politely refused and accepted only a glass of water.

Over the past year we have been doing a lot of work on our house and as a result have had to deal with a number of vendors, contractors and service providers. Thankfully, most of them have been quite good, while some not so much. However, I’ve learned that honesty and trustworthiness are perhaps the most important qualities in any service specialist, especially when what they end up recommending is against self interest - such as when no service is required.

In conclusion, these guys are now my regular go-to for anything related to Roof, Siding, and Windows, and I’ll be recommending them to anyone who asks. They were professional, clearly knowledgeable, and displayed true integrity. If I could rate them higher than 5 stars I would!!

He answered my call and quickly scheduled a time to come out and take a look at our roof. The roof walk through was very thorough and he answered all our questions and sent videos with all of his notes. Richard gave us an estimate with a great price as well as knowledge about vinyl siding and the installation of the product, Richard kept us informed throughout the project about the timeline for the installation. He worked with another contractor who was also working on our home to make everyones timeline work. Having to replace our homes roof we thought was going to be a formidable task, boy were we wrong. We searched the internet for local roofers, and got estimates. Evergreen was one of the companies we sought out. The professionalism, speed, & response made the choice very clear. Then we got the insurance assistance, explanations, and further support were outstanding and mind-blowing.

I highly recommend Evergreen. Tanner replaced the siding on our 1949 rental house in August 2024. The process was seem less, price fair, results excellent. We used Evergreen for a small siding repair and then to install fascia in preparation for new gutters. They were prompt, professional, and incredibly fair in price. What really stood out to me is they went above and beyond to make sure the job was done right; replacing sheathing and adding house wrap under the entire repair area when it was identified that the old material was celotex sheathing (didn't like the water...). Paint match on south-facing, sun-cooked wall was awesome. I really appreciate their commitment to doing things correctly, and leaving the job site free of debris (especially after gutter removal and fascia install). Tanner and Ryan at Evergreen were absolutely amazing to work with! They did a job to repair some siding on our house and checked our roof for damage. Tanner showed up on time and despite being the third roofer to come by for an estimate, he was the first to get up on the roof to properly inspect the damage. It was such a minor repair that he took care of it within a half hour for less than the "trip minimums" the other roofers mentioned. He was also the only one not pushing me toward making a homeowners insurance claim for a new roof (for a 5 year old roof with just a few loose shingles). Good customer service and honest practices are why Tanner and Evergreen Exteriors will be my go-to for all my future roofing needs and the company I'll recommend to friends and neighbors when they need it.

I had these brothers do several projects for me as I am preparing my house for sale. They gave me a very fair quote, got on the job right away , did excellent work and stayed on bid. I would definitely have them out again. So hard to find good help, they were a breath of fresh air with their great attitudes.

We started with 10 bids on a new roof for our house and carport as I really needed to get an idea of the overall bidding process, pricing and other factors involved as well as tips and such from experienced roofers through the estimating process. Our house had a layover (2 layers of shingles) and needed 4 sheets of wood replaced as well as a couple of leaks addressed.
Tanner's knowledge was right up there with most who came out but his polite and respectful manner in the way he treats you is exemplary! We had a lot of emails back and forth getting things dialed in and he was always gracious in answering quickly with what we needed. In the end, we chose him and his company for the roof replacement.
We had it scheduled for a Wednesday but it snowed the day or two before so we asked to do it the following week and he had no problem doing so.
The day of the job, it was windy but Tanner and his crew did a great job and documented it all with photo's and video so we could see it later on. (I like this as you can see what you are getting even if you are not up there watching it yourself!)
They cleaned up really well after the wind blew a lot of roof debris everywhere and made sure all was good before leaving for the day.
The next day Tanner came and did some final caulking and cleanup, making sure all looked as good as it was on the ground as well as up on the new roof.
We viewed the photo's later in the day with Tanner and his brother Ryan and they answered any questions we had.
I would say this was one of the best experiences we have had with home repairs and glad we chose Evergreen Exteriors! You should too! (I do not know them nor was I paid or given a discount for this review, I'm just a Boise homeowner with years living in the Treasure Valley and wanted to let everyone know about my experience!)

Though my wife and I ultimately did not have Evergreen Exteriors work on our roof, Tanner McNelley saved us a lot of money and financial headache. My wife and I were in the middle of purchasing a house, and our home inspection said very little about the roof. That is why we got a hold of Tanner and his team. Tanner's report was very thorough, which also came with YouTube videos that included spots that were fixed to cover issues that would pass an inspection. The seller was unwilling to split the cost of fixing the roof, so we backed out. Thank you, Tanner, you saved us.

In my 30 years of hiring various contractors/repair technicians, Evergreen Exteriors is the most impressive I have ever encountered. Tanner McNelley is extremely knowledgeable about his craft. He is also the most punctual, polite, and professional craftsman I have ever encountered.

He did a siding repair and window sealing job for us and explained every step along the way. He really educates you so that you know exactly what to expect. When the repair was completed, he provided many pictures of everything that he did. You are left with zero concern that he did what he said he would.

I was so impressed with his work, I asked Tanner to inspect some recent damage that our aging roof had sustained in a severe windstorm. He presented me with all the pictures and options for repair or replacement. I had our insurance company come out and do their own inspection, and they agreed with Tanner’s assessment. Having never done a roof replacement before, Tanner did a phenomenal job of educating us about the different product options when it comes to choosing a new roof.

When the day came for the roof replacement, Tanner, his brother Ryan, and their team were right on time. Ryan, who is just as polite and professional as his brother Tanner, supervised and led the removal and installation of the new roof. The crew cleaned as they went and were diligent about making sure debris and roofing nails were not left behind. While dodging inclement weather, they completed the project in two days. Tanner fully inspected the installation, presented us with a time-lapse video of the installation, photos of every step, and drone footage of the before and after of the roof.

It is difficult to relay via a review how pleased we are with Tanner and Ryan McNelley. Evergreen Exteriors are top-notch from beginning to finish. Trust me, you will be pleased if you hire them for your next project.

Tanner is the most professional contractor I have ever engaged for a repair. He arrived when promised, showed me the damaged siding areas and explained the repair. He also took before and after photos and created a video of the repair. I have never encountered that before. I'm well pleased.

If I could give 100 STARS to this company I would! They are seriously the BEST! I called them on a Saturday afternoon as we had water dripping out of one of our vents. They came out on a Sunday morning and repaired a few cracks on two of our vents. They were here for an 90 minutes and didn't want to charge us! WHAT?!!! When my husband and I decided that we needed to reside our house we didn’t know where to start. We contacted Evergreen Exteriors and even though we did not live in their service area Tanner Mcnelley, owner, was willing to consult with us. He was able to get a satellite picture of our home and measure it to give us an accurate cost breakdown of our job. He was straightforward and helpful. He provided options, gave us the why and what for regarding the materials available. We feel that we clearly understand the expected cost and know what should be included in a bid for a quality job to be done. He even followed up with a link to a product that we had discussed that could be used to solve a foundational issue as well as inspiration pictures of houses using a combination of siding styles to give me a clearer understanding of what our house would look like. He even gave us some leads on reputable companies for us to contact. The only downside of our consultation was that we were out of their service area and could not hire Evergreen Exteriors to do our job!
