I had my roof done by this company back in July or August of 2024, and I couldn’t be happier with the results. They completed the job quickly, were very professional throughout the entire process, and delivered quality work. What really stood out to me was that nearly a year later, the owner stopped by to check on the roof—just to make sure everything was still in great condition. That level of follow-up shows he truly takes pride in his work and stands behind it. I’m very satisfied and highly recommend this company to anyone needing roofing services!

Elmer and his crew did an excellent job!They removed 2 layers of old shingles and replaced damaged plywood as needed. He also gave me an excellent recommendation to use a vented drip edge as the house we purchased had no soffits and had poor ventilation in the attic.

Velasquez Roofing is the only company that we have trusted over the past 4 years for roofing needs! He has done 2 complete roof replacements for us (Two separate houses) and they both turned out beautiful. After he finished our 1st roof, 3 different neighbors ended up reaching out to him also to have their roofs replaced because ours was done so nicely! We were afraid that because it was in the middle of the winter, they wouldn’t be able to even start working. But Mother Nature was no match for them! Elmer and his crew got the job done in a professional way, I was surprised on how fast and organized the job was, it was done in one day. removing, replacing bad plywoods and installing a new roof, replacing three large skylight windows, then clean up everything. my roof is pretty large. the crane truck couldn’t get on my driveway to drop off the materials on the roof (I have bricks driveway) so the crew had to get all materials up to the roof and that was a lot of work. I like that he stopped by multiple times so far to check on the roof and to make sure everything still good. he is straightforward person with no gimmicks, no tricks, and the price was really good. he worked with me on my budget. I’m really happy with the results!

Upon purchasing my first home I knew I would need a full roof replacement- including removing and replacing all the cedar shake I had under my shingles. I had numerous companies come out and give me astronomical quotes that really had me questioning my decision to purchase this house. Elmer then came through with a beyond reasonable price, and when work began his team did more than I asked for and was a huge help overall. There were a few items I noticed that needed correcting as the job progressed due to the nature of my 120 year old home, but they were done promptly and with no hesitation. Hopefully down the line I can give them a call back to add some skylights for my attic as well, because it was a great experience overall.

He’s very professional and so is his crew. Additionally, he’s very reasonable. I will refer him to anyone who needs his services.

I called Mr. Velasquez because he is a local skilled trades roofer.
He came out ASAP for inspection. We agreed on on price, he walked me through the process what I need to do as a homeowner. His crew reported before 8am, they did the work of
UAW - skilled trades laborers, up to 5 sheets of plywood was included in his price (a Savings)! They followed all state guidelines for roofing, and our city inspector came out and stamped his approval on our roof!
We could tell an immediate difference of the new roof, by turning down the thermostat. They finished and cleaned up the yard in one day. Mr. Velasquez did not accept any money from us until the job was completed! I have made a few referrals for Velasquez Roofing!

My experience with E. Velasquez Roofing was phenomenal! Outside of the fantastic work their crew performed on my roof replacement, there was one thing that really stood out to me, and that was honesty. I am a recent first time homebuyer and I knew buying that I would a new roof. I had several roofers come out to do estimates and nearly all of them had told me I would need to replace my entire decking due to having old cedar shake shingles under the old asphalt shingles. Me being naive I believe them and had prepared to pay the extra costs. Now I'm not positive if these companies were trying to scam me and pocket an extra 5-10k but when Elmer from Velasquez Roofing came out he said I do not have cedar shake under my shingles, he even insisted to show me and explain how I don't have cedar shake and why my decking wouldn't need replacement. I couldn't appreciate this man's honesty more, he saved me thousands and still gave me an excellent price and performed top of the line work! Couldn't be happier to a support an honest and hardworking business like E. Velasquez! If you need roof work, look no further!

They came out for a quote the next day. Velasquez was very professional and knowledgeable in roofing. They used high quality material for an affordable price. The job was completed the same day. They were able to answer all my questions before, during and after the install. Clean up was meticulous. They do a final walkthrough and make sure you are fully satisfied.

Elmer took the time to sit down with my parents and explained every aspect of what he was going to do when he replaced their roof. They had to do a full tear down, replace all the plywood and put the new shingles on. I was 100% satisfied with the job they did and the time it took them!!
