We took my husband’s truck here after he hit a deer. They were great with communication and got us scheduled quickly to bring the truck in. About a week later, right before we were to take it in for that repair, my husband hit our parked camper in our driveway. They were so great about getting both claims processed so they could begin fixing it. We were originally told it would take two weeks to fix, but there were some snags that ultimately made it take a month to fix. We had a rental car through insurance so that wasn’t a big deal. Through it all, they called us to keep us updated on the whole process and even ended up asking us if we wanted to fix our windshield at the same time as our other repairs when they noticed a rock chip in it (we had previously held off on fixing it).
When it came time to pick up the truck, we noticed they had detailed it. That was an awesome surprise! My husband drove it off the property and soon realized water was leaking through the roof from the windshield. He called and took it back to them and asked for it to be fixed. They did so the same day. They would have offered him a car to use, but there weren’t any available at the moment. My mother-in-law was able to come get him while they fixed it, so it was no problem. After about 4 hours fixing that, he went to pick it up again. When driving off with it, we were told by his mother-in-law (who was driving in front of him) that one of the headlights were flickering. My husband went out to check them and noticed some moisture in the passenger headlight. When they had dealt with the bumper and headlights, moisture had gotten in the headlight and caused some kind of electrical issue. Once again, we called them and asked for that to be looked at again. They weren’t able to get us in that day, but could a few days later. Once that was fixed, we checked the truck out to make sure there weren’t any issues and then we noticed the front plastic pieces of the bumper didn’t appear to be put in all the way. We politely asked if they would make sure it was put back the same way as we had dropped the truck off. They agreed and we waited a short time for that to be corrected. Eric Hayden came and talked to us personally during this time and apologized for all of the trouble. He even sent us a gift card for us to go to dinner to make up for all the issues we had.
The whole point I want to make with this review is that Eric Hayden truly cares about his customers and their satisfaction. We didn’t want to be “those” customers who constantly complained, but we did care about our vehicle being fixed correctly. They went out of their way to make sure we were happy and seemed genuinely sorry for the inconvenience through it all. Even though things didn’t go perfectly with our experience, they did absolutely everything to try to make it right. We really appreciated that and would recommend that anyone bring their vehicle here!
