Steve and his crew were amazing. He made short work of what might have been a nightmare repair in less capable, careful, or honest hands. What was a complex interior and exterior repair on a 1929 bungalow was expertly handled in just a few days. I could not have been more pleased.

Van Gieson Home Repair was very knowledgeable and was willing to share his experience with us as the remodeling began. They listened and talked to us through the entire process, and didn't mind explaining what was going on step by step. The crews that did the work were polite and courteous. We wish to thank you for your help in the repairs to our home.

I decided to sell a rental home that I've owned for 14+ years. In order for me to appeal to many potential buyers, I decided to do some much needed rehab. I really wanted ONE company that could do everything on my long list. An internet search led me to VanGieson Home Repair. From start to finish this was a very positive experience. Bill (the fellow who came to give me an estimate and was my go to guy throughout the project) was extremely helpful. I was surprised (in a good way) when Bill didn't up-sale anything, in fact, his suggestions actually saved me some money.
Here's what I had done:
Front porch removed and rebuilt.
Back deck removed and rebuilt.
Repair all rotted wood in the eaves.
Repair/replace all damaged exterior wood trim.
Replace all damaged exterior siding & paint to match non-damaged siding.
Repair/replace rotted exterior window trim.
Paint eaves, gutters and downspouts.
Replace back door including storm door.
Replace front storm door.
Paint exterior of front door.
Replace laundry room louver doors.
Repair interior walls where needed and paint all interior walls and baseboards; including the inside of all closets.
Remove carpet and lay wood-look laminate flooring in all rooms except bathrooms.
Paint bathroom vanities.
Install new exterior flood lights.
Install new front porch & back deck light.

This long list just proves that these guys can do just about any type of home repair/rehab/remodel that one would need.
The best part is that everything was done to my satisfaction in less than three weeks and the cost was very reasonable.

The carpenters, painters and crew are very skilled. I really liked that the same crew came each day which I think gives them ownership of the project and their pride in their work really shows.

I highly recommend VanGieson Home Repair and I will use them again should I have a need.

I sold the house in 10 days after listing. The selling and buyer's agent both agreed that this was the best rehab they've seen!

I used VanGieson again for a few projects on my current residence in October 2018. The quality of work was exceptional, the price was very reasonable and the crew is very considerate of your space.

I'd like to give a special shout out to the drywall guy. What he did at the first project and the second project is really magical. There is no visible evidence that any repair was done at all - he is THAT good!

Bill, my go to guy, is so knowledgeable and personable, a true pleasure to work with. He will not leave the job until he knows that you, his customer, is completely satisfied. He reviewed every part of my project with me to make sure every thing met my expectations.

VanGieson is an honest company who employees hardworking skilled craftsmen. I would hire them again, even without a bid, that's is how much I trust them!
