We hired Epic Contracting for our fireplace remodel and I can't say enough how happy I am. Andrew gave personal attention by always replying to my texts and questions right away. A couple times we went over budget or encountered an unexpected expense, but it was communicated and we were given options. The project did take a little longer than originally anticipated but not enough to cause us any distress. Overall I'm very pleased with the quality of work and the finished project. I will hire Andrew and Epic Contracting again for my next remodel, and recommend them to friends and family.
After getting several bids from contractors on an extensive bathroom remodel, we decided to go with Epic Contracting Group (Andrew and Eric). When it came time to pay our deposit, we were told their email got hacked. We were informed by our bank that our money ($15k) is gone and not recoverable. We gave Epic several opportunities to come up with a fair solution for both parties (we would have been happy if they were just willing to split the loss with us), but instead they stopped responding. If Andrew and Eric weren’t willing to make this right, then how they would have dealt with the common issues which need resolution during a remodel?
UPDATE: Prior to posting this review, the last communication I had with Epic is that they were going to discuss and get back with us. I have not heard from them since March 29th (two months ago). Of course, they had time to respond immediately once posted.
