While replacing a roof is not a fun thing to go through, it’s a much better experience when working with professionals. Daniel and his team came out for a free inspection, stayed in contact during my “3 quotes “ phase, delivered a fair price, and scheduled the installation around the crazy spring weather. The installers took great care of the pool and yard while working, which honestly, I didn’t consider until I saw them in action. Daniel made some suggestions about roof choices and my wife even enjoyed “picking the color.”

This was our first experience with a roof replacement. Daniel took the time to patiently walk us through the process, explaining in details what to expect.

We had our roof replaced last year. What I am impressed is the service quality that Daniel provided. He is very responsive, upfront, and professional. Recently I discovered leaks in the chimneys and I contacted Daniel. He responded quickly and came with his crew to check and repair the leaks, including replacing chimney caps. My situation is a rare one that water was mysteriously coming from inside the chimney pipes and dripping out down the ends or open gaps. Daniel responded my 2nd call for the leaks and came right away again to address the problem, including replacing the caps with a different type.

They will work directly with your insurance company, as much as they can (they came out and walked through the inspection process with the adjuster on the day he came out to inspect my home), to make sure that the insurance company will give you the best financial deal possible.

Prices are extremely high everywhere, so expect some sticker shock if you haven’t replaced a roof in several years. However, in light of that, I would say that their prices are very competitive.

I am writing this review to express my appreciation for the work that Daniel Johnson and Innovate Roofing and Solar performed to repair my property in the aftermath of the May Hailstorm in the Plano, Texas area. The hailstorm totaled three of our vehicles, our roof/gutters, windows/screens, and destroyed portions of our fence.

After our neighborhood was attacked by a Texas size hail storm, fllocks of roof contractors accosted the neighborhood likened vultures on a feeding frenzy. . . . except Inovate Roofiing & Solar, who was planning work on our neighbor's roof with solar panels. The work plan was professional in regards to materials, cost, schedule, and work ethics, and I was convinced to engage them for my damaged roof. This was the right decision.

Innovate Roofing & Solar company has outstanding service. They started replacing my roof within two days of the storm damage. The crew was supervised at all times, the gutter issues were fixed timely, they cleaned up very well after the work was completed. Actually they kept it picked up as they went along. The vent replacement was done with better looking ones. Most of all, my back porch is screened in and they went way beyond with protecting it with several 4 x 8 sheets of plywood! This is the third roof that I have had done by this company for my rental properties. Every roof that they did everything the said they would do was done. I loved that Daniel kept me informed on every step that was needed. Each of the jobs were done in a day. They left no trace of their work on the ground (No shingles or nails in my yard). The roof was quality work. Their prices couldn’t be beat for quality work. On the first roof Daniel did for me this is where I saw his honesty. Daniel had told me if decking had to be done it cost a certain amount for each sheet. He thought the workers told him it was three sheets. I came prepared with the money, he told me that they only used one. I was so impressed. I would have never known that they only used one. In todays world it was a breath of fresh air. I will always use this company for my roofing needs.

USAA recommended Innovative Roofing for roof replacement from storm damage in late 2021. My house was built in stages beginning in the 1910’s with various add-ones through the 1980’s and is about 3,000 square foot with some high-pitch, some standard-pitch, a section of flat roof. With the exception of the flat roof, there are various skylights throughout. In addition to the house, I have a detached double car garage and 20x30 “storage/shop” building.

Daniel and his team protected the landscaping around the house prior to demolish, removed all old roofing, replaced bad decking as necessary, and installed Class IV impact-resistant shingles (which qualify for a discount on insurance). They performed the job quickly and did a wonderful job without any damage to landscaping. What’s better, is they did a fantastic clean-up of the yard afterward and there were no signs they had been there.

In the spring of 2022 when the heavy rains came, I had a leak around a skylight and I called the office. Daniel himself was out the same day, (brought Tiff’s Treats cookies), identified the issue, and caulked it. No issues since then.

Over the weekend my 17 year old grandson was cleaning leaves and branches off the roof and thought he saw some loos shingles. I called the office today and Daniel came out the same day again, and performed and inspection. He did not identify any issues.

I can’t stress how reliable, responsible, and professional Innovative Roofing and Solar is. If you are in need of a roof, please consider them.

March 2023 was the worst winds yet for our area of Oak Point,TX.
We had our shingles lifted and blown off in several different areas over the past few years. Daniel, always was there to cover protect and repair every problem that day or the next. However this last wind storm our roof took a beating. Daniel suggested we file a claim with the insurance company. We did and when the adjuster arrived the best day, Daniel was here to walk the roof with him. Our check arrived within 10 days and our new roof a few days after. We now have a lifetime warranty on the shingles from GAF. We can't say enough about the service provided by Daniel and his staff. Doring the storm 5 homes on our block were damaged. Innovate Roofing & Solar replaced three of the roofs. The other two went with another contractor and is still waiting for repairs. So save yourself some anguish or lost sleep worrying about it. We called Daniel with Innovate Roof & Solar the night of the storm. He arrived on time the following morning at 10am. He inspected the damage, suggested we call and open a claim with our insurance company USAA. We did and the adjuster arrived at 9 am the next day as did Daniel. Now that all damage has been photographed and claim filed the adjuster said 10 days for check. Daniel repaired the roof that same day. So from storm damage it's been just 2 days all repairs have been Professionally done.
