We were very happy with Ellis roofing. We have a 1920’s stick built house. Strangers walking by were impressed with the work being done. John Wilbur was responsive to all of our concerns, even after they had been paid and we discovered a minor oversight, it was addressed to our satisfaction. In this day of trying to get people to work, it was refreshing to call this company. I had dealt with three other roofing companies that either wouldn't call back or just never showed up. I needed a relatively small repair job from the hurricanes. Ellis Roofing answered immediately and came out when they said they would. My estimate was given to me and I signed the contract right then. Maybe I could've found a cheaper place, but I wanted someone that would actually show when they said they would and do quality work.

I highly recommend Ellis Roofing. I called John in the middle of Hurricane Ian, and he answered! Not only that, but he came out the next morning and gave us a fair and competitive estimate and told us exactly what to expect. Tyler and the crew were here when they said they would be, and gave us updates along the way. Working with a local company with a great reputation is always a great idea, and you can't go wrong with Ellis.

John and Kevin of Ellis Roofing are honest, easy to work with, and straightforward. And their prices are entirely reasonable and competitive with other quotes I got. I found them to be everything you would want in a contractor. The roof was done by a hard-working, expert crew, and it was all beautifully done.

I was thoroughly satisfied with this roofing contractor and would highly recommend them to anyone, and I will do so the next time one of my neighbors, or anyone, asks me who I hired to do my roof.

I did not use Ellis because per Kevin everything is ship shape! He came and we discussed the issue I have and he basically solved the problem by giving me an excellent answer to my issue! Just had our new metal roof installed, and they did a great job! We got several quotes and Ellis was the best value. Kevin was super helpful and just a phone call away when I had questions.

I was in a panic when my homeowner's insurance sent a letter letting me know that my coverage with them was going to end. I knew that my roof was too old for a new policy and would need to be replaced but I simply did not have the funds for such a large job. I had seen advertisements for Ellis Roofing and a family member who was using them said that they offer to finance. I contacted them and spoke with John. He was very knowledgeable and explained the process to me. I received an estimate promptly as well as the information about financing. My roof was done fairly quickly and for a great price. Just had replaced in February of 2022 and had a wonderful experience. Highly recommend Ellis Roofing, they are communicative, they kept us involved throughout the entire process. We had two story shingle roof and flat roof replaced. It took longer to get the project moving but only due to supply chain issues. Ellis Roofing wanted us to wait for the right materials for the flat roof rather than go with a subpar option. We were out of the country at the time and they worked with us and has patiently waited for us to route payment. A fantastic work team, very professional, highly recommend.

After having issues with my roof for years left over from poorly done work, I was fortunate enough to find Kevin and John. They bid a great price (and actually told me about additional costs that some other companies had omitted), did excellent work, and my roof is better than it's ever been in the 10 years I've owned it. It even rained for three days in the middle of replacing the roof and not a drop in the house. John and the crew ran into a number of unexpected problems and VERY weird/bad pre-existing construction from prior owners but it was never an issue. They showed me things I should be aware of that I'd never have found, like a small patch of old termite damage under an eave, old electric wiring they suggested I get looked at, how my roof hadn't been venting due to terrible construction, and then how they fixed it. I feel very fortunate to have found them to help with my roof and I am holding on to them with both hands. I highly recommend them, especially if you haven't been happy with roofing in the past.

Out of the five estimates, we decided Ellis Roofing & Sheet Metal LLC was professional, knowledgeable, informative, prompt and competitively priced. The beginning of our new roof install, a crew removed the shingles and installed the underlayment in half a day. The crew was professional, courteous and cleaned up the surroundings as best as possible. A few days later, the Metal crew custom fitted a new metal roof in two days' time. Please keep in mind, this is construction. There will be noise, dirt, debris and issues. During the entire process, Kevin was a phone call away for scheduling, installation questions, or issues. Rest assured, either Kevin himself or John (business associate) would respond in person to the matter. We can't rate them high enough. Ellis Roofing was a pleasure to "work" with and I highly recommend them.

I watched my neighbors, have a new roof put on. They worked for 3 days on the house. Ours is larger, so I thought maybe four days., They came in on Monday, and be 5 pm they were done.
