I had a representative from Elk come out on a Saturday and inspect damage to my roof. The rep arrived on time and was personable and professional. When he was finished he told me he would have the quote to me by Monday afternoon. Monday comes and goes, no quote. I called Tuesday and left a message. I called again on Wednesday and spoke to the rep who inspected my roof. He told me that they were putting together some information and would email it to me. 7 days after the original visit I have not heard a thing. They might possibly do good work but they get a one star for customer service.

Excellent work! I highly recommend them! They worked with us on the services we needed and gave us a good quote. When they did the work...VERY professional. The quality of the work is outstanding!

We hired Elk for a new roof and siding and are happy with the results. They were incredibly gracious as we considered (and reconsidered) each decision, and were responsive when we had questions or concerns. Hopefully we won't need a new roof or siding for a while, but we've recommended them to our neighbors and would be happy to hire them again.

We had multiple hail storms in the last few years and wanted someone to come take a look at our solar panels and roof. ELK roofing was recommended by our insurance company and they provided a comprehensive inspection of our roof and solar panels. I appreciate the honesty of this company and Trey provided a report that included multiple pictures of our roof. The company was responsive and ultimately indicated we did not need a new roof. Very honest and indicated to please call in the future if we wanted them to come out and take a look if another hail storm hits. We definitely will reach out to this company in the future.

Juan and his team did an excellent job installing new siding and new roof on our house. They are a top notch company - very professional. They were patient and responsive to all our questions and concerns. They communicated with us well, alerting us of issues ahead of time and handling any problems that came up. They went above and beyond in completing the project. We couldn't be happier with the work that they did and we love our new roof and siding.

Best price of 4 quotes and did a great job, especially the siding. They installed James Hardie cement siding and it looks great. Everything done in a reasonable time and easy to work with. They threw in a couple of small things for free as well.

Elk Construction replaced our roof, gutters, and damaged vinyl siding with James Hardie color plus siding. Elk Construction’s number one goal was to make sure that the job was completed well. They wanted us to be happy, and we feel like they went out of their way to make sure we were. We could not be more pleased with their professionalism, timeliness, and skillset.

Elk construction replaced the roof and siding on our home this past summer. Some of the best quality craftsmanship I've seen and we couldn't be more pleased with the result, and no sign of any wind-damage after the crazy wind-storms we've had. Also relatively painless as far as home construction goes. Highly recommend.

After tons of research, we hired Elk Construction to replace the siding and roof on one of our rental properties. I have to say we are very pleased with the customer service and quality of work provided. We were also impressed with the turnaround time how they kept the site clean. These guys are definitely professionals and we will be using them again!

Our home in Grant Ranch had hail damage to the roof in June of 2019. We also have American Family Insurance on our home. Elk Construction is a recommended roofing company for repairs by American Family Insurance. Scott Janson from Elk Construction did an excellent job coordinating between American Family Insurance. The work performed was excellent and very professional. The work took approximately a day and a half. It would have been one day, but it became too hot on the roof so they had to stop both for the roofers safety and so the shingles would not be damaged because of the high temperature. We were also very happy with American Family Insurance. A very satisfying experience under the circumstances.

Elk has been working on the condos I live in for around six months or longer. I’ve tried to call the company to speak with someone only to be directed to dead ends by their answering system, so I will offer some constructive criticism here.

Please consider that people have to live where you are working. I have walked out of my front door to see drink bottles strewn through the landscaping many times. This is disrespectful to the people who pay hard earned money to live where they do.

Painting both sets of a building’s stairs so that people cannot get up or down is not the best use of common sense. I literally had to ask a woman to get off a ladder so I could crawl through the gap underneath it to get down the stairs. There was no offer to move the ladder, just an expectation that I figure out how to get around it, which I was able to do because I am young and able bodied, but we have older folks living in our building who would not be able to do the same. Again, please exercise some consideration for other people.

Lastly, flyers were posted on the doors of my building giving us notice that painting would begin the following week - except, that the flyers were actually meant for the building next to ours. So those folks were not informed of when to clear their balconies for painting. A couple of weeks later, I came home to see that plastic had been put up over all of our windows and balcony doors. Nobody from my building been given any notice to remove our belongings from the balconies. This resulted in all of my plants dying from lack of watering and my grill and outdoor chairs being flecked with paint. I walked around the building to be sure that I hadn’t just missed a memo, but everyone else still had furniture on their balconies.

Responsive, professional, honest!!! As a member of our HOA Board, I was extremely pleased with work Elk completed a year ago on entry columns into our community. This spring, I needed roofing repairs for which I was personally responsible. Based on the previous experience, I didn't hesitate to call and am so glad I did. Juan and I spoke at about 8:20; he said he'd try to have someone out that day but couldn't promise and would get back with me. At 10:00, Dallas called and asked if noon would be OK and, indeed, noon it was! Thankfully, the needed repair was minor. They were entirely honest about it--could have taken advantage, claimed something much more significant and I'd have been none the wiser. Numerous heavy rains later, no more leak and an extremely happy customer. The way they do business and the overall experience could not have been better. I recommend Elk Construction VERY HIGHLY!

On May 21st we had a water leak coming in around the free standing
stove pipe on the roof. I called Advanced Exteriors who installed the roof
and Andrew came out to inspect it. He said it needed a new B-Vent jack
We were ok with that but they would not communicate with us as to when
it would be done even when we e-mailed them. After waiting 12 days with a leaking roof, from all the rain we have had this year I contacted Dallas Preston with Elk Construction and the next day he put a new stove pipe cap on re-calked the B-vent jack, shingles seams and nails that held the vent jack down. The day after we had it fixed a guy from Advance Exteriors shows up and said I am here to fix your roof leak without even calling to see if we were home or to let us know he was coming out to do the repair.

Skylights were damaged during a hailstorm, and Elk Construction gave our community bids that would accommodate everyone within our community. I personally worked with Dallas though the order and install process. His extensive product knowledge helped us to identify the replacement windows best for us. He also effectively communicated with us and made the arrangement process effortless.

Dallas Preston is a wonderful point of contact. He always exceeds my expectations and goes out of his way to correct any faults that may have happened. He owns his and other mistakes and rectifies any situation. ELK Construction could not have picked a better employee for their company. I create and send him many work orders and he acknowledges every last one of them and addresses. Very respectful and professional. I thoroughly enjoy working with him. During the May 2017 hailstorm that hit the west side of town, my home and property sustained a lot of damage. Elk Construction did a great job on the roof, managed repairs of the leaf guard gutters and fence. They did a wonderful job and were always professional to work with.

Wow, these guys have no clue what they're doing. I cannot stress enough how bad they are. They were tapping my electric service for their power for an entire condo project, let alone cut a wire to my unit and tried to bury it. They messed up my outside balcony outlet in the process without telling anyone and I electrocuted myself 1st time using it. Several weeks later they came by to paint the exterior and literally just spray painted over my lawn furniture and turned the same color as my deck. They won't respond to phone calls and have no ******* clue what they are doing! They are horrible and I would give negative 10 if possible.

I had a great experience with Elk Construction. They came out and did repairs to my condo and my downstairs neighbor's which I had to repair. The estimate process and the repair process were both painless and very quick (all done within a week). It was a very fair price as well. Cudos to Max and to Marco for the great work!
