Elk Point Ace Hardware

On their website they were advertising that they had 2 of the item I was looking for. So I drove all the way from Sioux City to get them only to find out one of the workers was holding them behind the counter for a friend WHO HADNT PAID FOR THEM. Then refused to sell them to me even tho I had cash in hand ready to pay for them.

We purchased a large artificial tree from Elk Point South Dakota Ace Hardware, found out it was defective, and a very kind employee came out to help us. She took back the tree, was told it was the only tree left in Elk Point Ace Hardware, and had to take it to Vermilion. She did, then brought in and set up the tree. We ended up having to take the tree down for personal reasons, and we took it back to Ace in Elk Point. They swore up and down they’d never sold a tree like that before (despite them selling the first defective one to us) and that we would have to go to Vermilion. Very poor service.

Was greeted and asked if I needed help finding what I was looking for. Furnace filters and I knew where they were so I thanked him and grabbed 2 of them and checked out. Very friendly gentlemen at the cash register.

Autumn is very friendly and very knowledgeable about most things in the store. What she is not she looks up or finds out very quickly. And knows the store and where everything is better than anyone. Especially the bottom shelves. Lol. Had to. If they don't have what you need they will always order it.

They do have quite a bit there and if you are working on something in your home, I am sure they will have what you need.

I was looking for paint brush and roller and paint pan . We found in about 15 seconds . It was clean but not alot floor personal that I could see . Cashier ask if I found everything I said yes .
