"Rigo the Roofer" has completed a series of jobs for me over the last 10+ years. Jobs have ranged from reroofing to extending roof overhangs and detailed work like protecting exposed wood. I asked my neighbors for recommendations for roof work after I had a leak during the rainy days of Friday and Saturday just before Christmas. I called Rigo on my neighbor’s recommendation, and he made time to come out and assess the problem on the day after Christmas! He recommended a full “maintenance job” on my roof, which he could not do for a couple of weeks. He then fit me into his schedule a few days later to do repairs on the areas that had leaked, followed by the complete maintenance job just 9 days later! He keeps his commitments, is honest and fair in his recommendations and pricing, and I trust him. You can’t go wrong with Rigo and his company, Elk Construction.

I have worked with Rigo, both as a homebuilder (for over 20 years), and as a consumer (he replaced the roof on my personal residence). I have no reservations about referring Rigo / Elk Roofing and the last house he did for me was my son's. High quality workmanship and you never have to worry about Rigo coming back for warranty service (although I really can't remember the last time he came on a warranty service for me or one of my customers).

Elk Construction framed our new custom home and his experienced crew framed the roof structure and covered roof with metal sheeting. They cut and installed our metal soffits and we are very satisfied with their work ethic and positive attitude. You will not be disappointed.

We had his team replace our roof in Oct 2018.

That was a busy time for roofers due to the hail storm damage around that time. We had delays getting started to no fault of his own because of weather and backlog of work, but he stayed in communication with us to keep expectations in check. Once started, the work was completed in a very timely manner and the workers are all professional/kept busy.

They made a reasonable effort to clean the nails up and left no other debris, but with any work you as the homeowner should also make a reasonable effort to verify/take it a step further. While they were working, I only found one nail on my driveway but none in the road whenever I checked after they would leave for the day. At the end, I found a few SILVER nails in the GRAY river rocks around my house and two SILVER nails on my LIGHT GRAY roof when I went up there to check out their work. That's really good in my book.

Almost a year later, we had our roof leak likely due to some flashing issue + unusually heavy rain. Rigo personally came out himself and resolved it ASAP.

I still have one roof-related project to do, and I'm definitely giving him a call. You should too!

Had Elk roofing replace the shingle roof on my home with a propanel roof in 2015. So far their work has held up very well. Looks great and have not had a single leak.
