Choose this company for you siding, you won't be sorry! The owner Ian, is far and above best contractor I have ever worked with. Excels at communication, follow up and explains everything in a friendly non-pressure way. I interviewed three other contractors, before settling on Elite. I knew I would be in good hands for this huge investment with Ian as he was genuine and sincere about providing the best result. Both the siding and the paint crew are top notch professionals, with a great work ethic and attention to detail, they are Hardie trained so you can be sure the installation was done to the highest standard and it shows! We went from ugly worn out 20 year vinyl to James Hardie siding, and the difference astounding, very very happy with what feels like a new house now.

Ian is extremely knowledgeable at his craft. He was so patient with all of our questions and concerns. We felt so comfortable from the moment we met him. We met with a few other companies to do our due diligence but Ian was the clear choice.

My home has a fairly complex exterior, and we were looking to re-side the home as we were dealing with constant issues of water intrusion.

I was searching the greater Portland/Vancouver area for Siding Contractors for Hardie Siding, as we really just wanted something that would hold up against the elements and protect us in the case of any nearby fires (we’re close to some woods). After meeting Ian from Elite Home Exteriors, we decided to go with him and we couldn’t have been happier that we decided to go with him as out Siding Contractor. We had additional problems from the water damage too, and the folks he recommended were also top notch.

Ian and team are a James Hardie Elite Preferred Siding Contractor, which means basically that he’s passed the highest certification for installing James Hardie siding products. I would work with him again, but based on his fit and finish, I probably won’t need to! Thanks Ian!

Working with Ian and his company was an absolute pleasure. I currently own 2 homes and have had 3 previous houses, so I’ve had experience with many contractors over the last 20 years and most are not good. My husband and I had a water intrusion issue (undisclosed to us during a house purchase) that we subsequently discovered for ourselves 6 months later in the rainy season. After meeting with many contactors to figure out how to execute the repair, we decided that their prices were outrageous even for just a patch job and we decided to do the right thing and replace all the wood siding with Hardie plank. My husband found Ian online, and we met with him. He is excellent at communication, through emails/text and/or phone calls. He was always pleasant to meet with and didn’t talk to me as if I was a dumb homeowner, which happens quite a bit in this industry. He was happy to answer all my questions and work with us on a documented design for adding architectural details so there was no questions on how the job would look. He and his crew were always punctual and professional. They finished the job ahead of schedule and did everything promised. Honestly, the water intrusion situation was very stressful, but Ian made it a pleasure to get resolved. I am so happy that we went with him and have had excellent results. My high-strung HOA was even happy about his work and gave us a compliment. I wholeheartedly recommend him, and I would be happy to talk to anyone wanting a reference about our pleasant experience. The South wall of the house had rot and cut siding from a previous connected wood deck. Ian was a pleasure to work with and a consummate professional from start to finish.
He answered detailed questions, gave me several options to fit within my budget. Ian communicated with me throughout the process, and was accommodating when I requested more detail, or a change during planning phase. His crew shows up on schedule, were friendly and courteous of my property, and cleaned up thoroughly before leaving. The job was completed quickly and within budget. Glad I hired Ian and his team to replace siding on the south-facing side of my house. Communication with Ian throughout project was as good as any contractor I've worked with. The work was done well, went smoothly, just what you want. Also glad to see them not show up in expensive vehicle wrapped graphics, etc that the customer pays for. I'll have more siding to do on my house and will hire them again.

We hired Elite Home Exteriors to replace the siding on the back of our house with James Hardie Sierra 8" fiber cement as the old T1-11 siding was showing its age. The rest of the T1-11 siding on the house looked good so we opted to leave it in place except for one section where a previous owner had cut through the siding to install a dog door. We had this additional section replaced with matching T1-11 siding. After the siding was installed/replaced we had Elite Home Exteriors paint the house as well.

I felt like we were in good hands throughout the entire process. Ian was very helpful guiding us through the process from start to finish and very quick to respond to any questions we had along the way. The crews that worked on the house were great and answered even more questions I had the days the work was being done.
The siding looks great. The paint job looks great. These guys know what they are doing.

Ian and Nick did a great job on our bungalow downtown. It was a full siding replacement, roof, and paint job. It was a big job. We got six quotes because we were interested in repairing the original siding under the outer layers. We eventually realized this wasn't feasible because there wasn't any barrier under the original siding - not even paper which does exist on some early 1900s houses. Ian was great at listening to our requirements and just as good at getting his team to implement them. We are very happy with the work they did and would highly recommend them. Simply put, after getting all the quotes it was clear Ian understood what we wanted when he put it in writing. More importantly it was all delivered at the cost that was in the quote. I'd highly recommend this company to anyone.

The owner set up an appointment for estimate to do siding on my new home. We showed up 15m early to the home. We waited over an hour at scheduled meeting time. Owner was a no call no show. I called them, and no one answered the phone. I do expect a business to be reliable, and professional. A call to let me know they couldn’t show, would have been better than nothing. I am very disappointed, and let down.

We worked with Elite Home Exteriors NW for both replacing our roof and refreshing our exterior paint. Ian and all of his crew were incredibly great to work with, staying communicative along the whole process from start to finish and being flexible with their schedules! Additionally, they took extra measures to ensure the outcome of those projects (i.e. pressuring washing the entire house, cleaning up gutters, and fixing/replacing broken siding). Both projects went along without a hitch and our home looks brand new (and AMAZING). Elite Home Exteriors NW did a complete residing (Hardi) and painting of my 2-story house. All team members, (company rep, siding and paint) were professional, thorough, and detail oriented. The final result is superb. There aren't enough positive adjectives to describe the excellent job on all fronts these folks did. I would highly recommend this company!

Ian (owner) came out to give me an estimate. He saved me a ton of time and money by being up front and honest. It turns out my issue was minor and he gave me instructions on how to take care of it instead of trying to sell me unnecessary services. I will definitely call Ian again if I require his services. Nick was fantastic. I had a job that I thought would be way to small for him to take. I had a small panel on the side of my house. Nick found a -icee he had and came back several times to fix the side panel. After he finished he said that the job was so small it wasn’t even worth charging me for it! Nick is a stand up guy and a consummate professional. Highly recommended !

Even with a windstorm, excessive wildfire smoke, and me being out of town, I felt totally comfortable and informed throughout the process. Ian and his team are fantastic! I am so pleased with the work they finished on the siding repair and paint job on my 1901 craftsman. Ian was so responsive which is rare for most contractors, he was there for me every step of the way and accommodated dates for me so I was able to close on my house and get the siding repaired before escrow ended. He also wanted to make sure we were super happy with the paint job and came back to do and apply any touchups during our walk-through. His team was professional, cared about the work they were doing, and made sure they were doing it the right way. Amazing job! I had a siding project, and I'm not much of a do-it-yourself'er. A friend recommended Elite, and I'm glad he did. Ian and Nick are true professionals. We contracted Elite Home Exteriors NW replace siding and trim on our front wall to address a leak. Water had penetrated behind the house belly band and was getting behind the siding. Ian and Nick are very responsive to their e-mail, phone and text communications. The turn around time between initial contact, quote and getting the work done was very short. The owners, and work crew, are very professional and I had a very positive experience interacting with all of them.

We had a relatively small section of siding and trim replaced on the front of the house. The old siding was removed and the house sheathing was inspected for signs of decay. An anti-fungal spray was added to prevent any future issues. The window was wrapped with a water proof membrane, new house wrap was installed then followed by the Hardie plank siding, trim and corner boards. The joints were caulked as well. All the work completed in about half a day - very quick!

The crew disposed of the material that came off the house and cleaned up the work area as well. We also had Elite color match and paint the new work. Top notch work.

Both owners came out to inspect the work and followed up with me to ensure everything was completed to my satisfaction. Excellent customer service!

I recently had to have some emergency repairs done on my 1938 siding. Nick came to my house to look at some rot and other concerns about my siding. I let him know that I really didn't want to replace the siding at this time if I could help it, but I did want to protect my house. Prior to hiring Elite Home Exteriors, I got 4 quotes from local exterior contractors here in Vancouver, WA. My husband and I went with Ian and Nick not only because their quote was reasonable, but because they treated us very well and really cared about improving the look of our home through our eyes.

The main part of our project took about a week, but they were happy to come back multiple times to finish or adjust things because we're kinda picky. When we had questions, they were always happy to answer. When we weren't sure about something, they explained our options while fully informing us of the possible outcomes.
