From start to finish, Edwin Painting exceeded my expectations. The inspection began with great advice, and the painting job for a one bedroom apartment was completed from estimate within the next eight days. Walls and ceiling primed, plus two coats of finish. A great attention to detail. Looks beautiful! The crew also involved some plumbing fixes/issues that were first rate. Plus installing light fixtures. I cannot recommend this company more. I found it nice for Edwin, the business owner, to be available at other times I had questions in making decisions during the process. He is very knowledgeable of the various products available and selected the best ones for my home. His workers worked steadily through the day. I appreciated how he kept me fully informed. He was very conscientious with every detail! I will definitely use him again and would highly recommend him.

Edwin has helped us with several projects over the past couple of years. The first project was a shower remodel.They tore out the old shower stall and built a bigger, beautiful shower! It was amazing! They did such a professional job, I hired Edwin to do work on the rental house. His crew painted the exterior of the house and because of the prep work and high quality paint, it looks like it was just painted! Beautiful job.
They completely remodeled the main bathroom on the rental and it turned out just as I wanted...beautiful! They painted the upstairs of the house as well as the kitchen cabinets. As expected, the painting was perfect.
Edwin's tree company removed several trees that were much too close to the house. In addition to making sure not to hit the house, they also had to keep from hitting the power lines. The workers were really impressive.

Edwin just built a really nice deck for me and I can't say enough good things about it except I love it!!

I cannot say enough about Edwin and his team of workers' efficiency, professionalism, trustworthiness and talent. After having such a positive experience with Edwin's job installing new flooring and remodeling a very old bathroom in our cabin rental, we quickly asked to get on his schedule to remodel our bathrooms in our Charlottesville home. Because we have a full house, we could not have the bathroom unavailable while we were home so we scheduled Edwin and his crew to remodel our bathrooms with tile and also do some painting in our home while we were away on vacation. We had no hesitation giving him and his guys access to our home while we were away. Edwin kept in constant communication, sending pictures of their progress and asking questions along the way. He waited for confirmation before moving forward, always concerned about making us happy with the job. I could trust his recommendations in both aesthetics and function over the phone. My husband and I have been doing renovations and remodels for decades. Hands down, Edwin has the most efficient team we have ever hired. He meets deadlines and his estimates are spot on. He won't negotiate his pricing but he's very fair and worth every penny. My only hesitation is that this review will have you taking up his time and then we may not be able to get on the Edwin Painting, LLC schedule! We were VERY pleased with the beauty and craftsmanship of his work. We referred him to our son to complete a major renovation in Ruckersville. They knocked it out in record time to help ready it for listing as a rental. You will not be disappointed with this hardworking, efficient, talented and professional company.

Edwin was referred to me by a friend. They power washed, painted, and did some carpentry work on 4 decks. Each person who worked on this project was fantastic. Their skills and workmanship was done with perfection and great attention to detail. Even the clean up was done to perfection. Everyone was so kind, friendly, and respectful. I am so pleased and grateful for the excellent job they did.

I am so happy I found this company. They first rehabbed my 1980s paneled family room beautifully. They are now rehabbing my deck and repairing/painting the trim on my house. I love that they always go one step above and beyond, they find things I should take care of that I don't have the experience to see, and they are fairly priced. Great company, I've recommended them to my friends, and I almost never do that!

Easy to deal with. Makes sure you're happy with there work. On time and cleans when job is done. High ceiling and in stairwell. Made what I thought would be a difficult job easy.

Edwin and his team did a great job painting the ceilings for us and also a skylight. His team is professional, on-time, and they did a great job. He also did some repair work to fix the ceiling where we had a previous water issue. It’s like the damage was never there.

Perfection! My husband and I are more than happy about how our living area turned out. They clean up after, better than how the room was before.

I know Edwin will come back and fight this hard, but bottom line is his crew made the primary mistake of painters and washed drywall mud (joint compound) down the kitchen sink.

The house looked great when he was done, but only when we hooked up the washing machine and ran it did the water backup.

The repairs cost over $1000, mainly because of the way the drains are plumbed, it took 3 plumbers to find the clog - just down from the kitchen sink.

The house was fully inspected shortly before Edwin started work, and immediately after we found this clog.

Edwin refused to take responsibility, despite pictures of the clog in the pipe, and the auger that pulled the drywall mud out. Literally denying the drywall mud was in our hands.

Again, my house looked great when he was done, and it was a professional job (if behind the original schedule), except for the drywall mud that went down the kitchen sink.

I wish Edwin would have taken responsibility for this small, of costly, mistake, but he has so far refused.

They finished a day ahead of schedule, largely due to the crew lead and another worker staying until virtually dark and hustling!

All-in-all the price, workmanship, service, and communication were all top-notch! I'd highly recommend them to anyone needing work done, and I plan on hiring them for my next project shortly!

I contracted Edwin to replace the plumbing in my rental property. I was pleased with the quality of workmanship, timely results, and very fair price.

His crew also painted the interior of the property and again it was a quality job and a very reasonable price.
