Edwards Exteriors was referred to us from a group we have coffee with who have used them. They did work for myself and family members over the years. Metal roof, comp roof and siding repairs. "Wow" is all I can say! I have been involved in construction and real estate for 40+ years. The owner and his workers were so hard working, professional, on time, cleaned up the mess right away and kept us posted on the changes or repairs that were needed as they found them and they explained at the beginning of the bid that these repairs may come up , but you will not know until they tear off the roofing. ( Being in a construction world, we know this part of all construction.) We also changed up a few things as they went along and they worked with us all the way as frustrating as we may have been. As far as our repairs and work went, this group was amazing. Thank you Edwards Exteriors. You are definitely my go to referral to family, friends and clients. See photos of my most recent roofing and some siding repairs.#3 roof and siding photo is before repairs. Thank you, Thank you, Thank you for your honesty, hard work and quick responses.

7 years ago they charged 5000.00 to put a roof on my mobile home. The material they used was substandard. They came in removed the old roofing and replaced the plywood sheeting. The roof, a 10x12 area sunk down and the rest of the roof waves up and down the full length of the mobile. They used the wrong shingles for a 2 degree pitch roof. To make a long story short I now need a new roof. Also the ventilation along the peak is incorrect. There is also no starter metal anyone can see or find. Bad job very bad. Unfortunately it has been 7 years since the roof was installed 2 years beyond the 5 year warranty. Don't trust them, disastrous.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
