As a custom home builder in North-Central WI, we were delighted to stumble across Rob and Eco-Panels of Tennessee! For years we have been trying to come up with the best, most energy efficient and cost-effective ways of building homes. We have been implementing the Zip System for the last couple of years on our builds, along with closed cell spray foam on the vast majority of our builds. One day we thought "wouldn't it be great if somehow we could come up with a Zip-SIPS panel, and kill two birds with one stone?" Lo and behold, it didn't actually turn out to be an original thought of ours, because Eco-Panels of Tennessee was already producing exactly the panels we were looking for!

Rob and the team were very easy to work with from the design process all the way through Zoom meetings to go over the install/build process, and delivery coordination! The panels went together with relative ease (our first ever SIPS panel project) especially with having 12' wall panels, and the finished product turned out great! We look forward to many more building projects with Eco-Panels of Tennessee!

Rob and the rest of the crew at EcoPanels are a pleasure to work with. I am singlehandedly working on a major addition and then an upcoming demo and rebuild. Using SIPS, while more expensive than traditional stick framing, is a much better value for me and makes the build at the second floor level possible working solo.

My fairly complex design made the transition to SIPS smoothly and the build went incredibly fast for a construction method that was totally new to me. Over a period of two weeks and using only ten days of actual work, I was able to erect a total of 72 panels.

I'm looking forward to the next phase and using EcoPanels again for the main house.

Pro? DIY? the answer is ECO-PANELS. Everyone of the 5 star reviews touches on exactly how happy I am with my panels and working with Rob and others. I researched over an over before reaching out to ECO-PANELS and I should have started with them. Stick, other SIPs, ICF, Post and beam - No question, ECO-PANELS are the right choice. Me, my wife, and 14 year old put our panels together. My other kids helped retrieve tools and the foam canisters, and wheeling the panels on a cart I made and we all enjoyed the process of building our walls as a family.

We have enjoyed the interaction with the ECO Panels team throughout the process. The design work and support to educate our framing crew with video and hands on instruction really made the process of the first project go super smooth! Absolutely fantastic experience with eco panels. Rob was great. The panels were heavy duty and so much faster than rough framing. If you’re thinking of SIPs I’d recommend eco panels.

I really like this company and Rob Clutter is the absolute best! He has spent a lot of time with me helping and guiding me thru the process. He got back to me quickly and was always very honest and straight forward with answers to my questions. We even made a day trip to the plant where the panels are made, it was very interesting! We need contractors in the MS area that know more about this product. At this time It's very hard to find anyone that will help you with the building process. Stick construction is all they have known for so long they're not open to the newer more efficient SIP panels. Hope this will change in the upcoming future. It really is a great concept. My wife and I decided to self-build our home due to rising costs of construction, and after undertaking almost every aspect of the build myself I can say without a doubt that working with Rob at Eco-Panels has been the smoothest part of the build so far.

We went with the panels for the energy efficiency in part, but mostly because of the ease of construction with the panels since all the insulation, water-proofing, electrical conduits, window/door cutouts, etc. are all done in the factory so it's so much faster to build with the SIPs than standard stick built.

The panels show up in bundles separated by where they go in the house for ease of installation and come with pretty much everything you need to do the job.

As far as customer service, Rob has been extremely helpful along every step of the way, from choosing an initial house design, down to where every last electrical box is placed. Any changes we needed made to the design were done very quickly and always to spec.

He even came and guided us through the whole building process. He stayed there all day with us and showed us a lot of good tips. You don't get that kind of customer service anywhere anymore!

We just finished erecting the walls and securing them down/bracing and don't have our roof on yet so I can't attest to the energy efficiency of the panels just yet, but I can say they are very solid and very exact. So much so that when we put up the last panel it needed no trimming whatsoever. I think the most we had to trim a panel was 7/8" on a 45' run of wall (having to trim is normal, it's hard to be accurate to the fraction of an inch when laying block so they make certain panels trimmable). I will say that if you go this route, you MUST have a good block layer and concrete company for pouring and finishing the slab (if you go with a slab) since the accuracy of the concrete work is very important in the ease of installation. The panels will be exact, so the home site must be equally as good.

All in all, we had about 9 hours total installation time once the panels were on the slab and ready to go. Some of that time there were four of us (including Rob) and some of the time it was just my brother-in-law and I.

I couldn't be happier with the finished product. I would highly recommend Eco-Panels to anyone looking to build a house, especially if you're doing it yourself.

ECO-Panels of Tennessee make the best in the industry! ZIP skins, high R value per inch, strong, roughed electrical. They converted our very complex design like it was nothing. Our framing crew had never assembled SIPs before and they had no trouble at all. They singled me out to remark how impressed they were with the panels simple assembly and detailed assembly plans and labels. ZERO modifications in the field. Our energy consultant is in love, hvac crew is in love, as am I, and anyone we show them to. We are net zero ready with just 6.5” walls. They are paired with an ICF foundation and spray framed roof. Working with the Eco-Panels team was one of the best decisions I have made while planning and building my home. The entire team was helpful and took time to ensure we were all on the same page when determining dimensions and locations for conduit and openings. Having the SIPs wrap around my timber frame structure could have been challenging due to the many posts and braces but everything went together perfectly!

I have been tracking the structural insulated panel (SIP) industry for years, and ECO-Panels of Tennesee stands out above the rest. Their system is ECO friendly. They utilize a closed cel polyurethane that has no VOC's, emits no CFC, HCFC’s and no styrene or formaldehyde.

The panels are easier to install because of a patented Cam-Lock system that joins the panels together. Unlike other SIP panel solutions that need a spline to join the panels together which will need to be nailed or screwed on both sides of the joining panels.

I have made the journey to their facility in Tennessee and their manufacturing process is amazing. They even assemble your home in their facility before they ship it, to make sure it is to your specific design. Their staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. My wife and I are planing to build our retirement home with ECO-Panels of Tennessee within the next 8 months.
