As a single mom it is hard to find good people to help you with your home that you can trust around your kid. Brandon is a delight to have around and my kid loves him. Brandon and Durance Handyman Services were a Godsend for me at Dowell Properties in Norman this entire year . I had just lost our full time maintenance tech for about 180,000 SF of office space, and Durance stepped in and completed all or work orders quickly and efficiently, and was more efficient and less expensive than our full time guy. Also, important, he presented himself to my tenants professionally and tactfully.

I fully recommend Durance Handyman Services for a variety of problems! Brandon Durance clearly has a lot of experience and cares about doing the job right. He has provided service for several issues in my home, including:
+ Shower/pipe repair and maintenance
+ Dishwasher repair and maintenance
+ Water heater repair
+ Heating unit repair and maintenance
He is also willing to tackle small-time repairs I just don't have the tools for, like re-fastening a shelf to the wall.

Mr. Durance is knowledgeable about diagnosing the problem at hand and explaining what he needs to do, what preventative measures I can take in the future, and other solutions for the issue. For example, when treating a recurring issue with my dishwasher, he let me know the problem actually stemmed from my garbage disposal due to the way the dishwasher was hooked up. He adjusted the hosing and showed me how to prevent the problem in the future via my garbage disposal. I haven't had any problems with it since.

He also shows a willingness to go above and beyond to make sure your problem is fixed. During a recent snow/ice storm, he came in to repair my heating unit, let me know what the problem was, and fixed it—however, my power went out due to the weather before repairs were finished. Mr. Durance let me know he would check on the power issue and come back to let me know what he found out. He ended up returning several times to update me on the situation (an issue on OG&E's end) and ultimately, once the power came back on, he came back to make sure the heater was functioning as intended with his repairs. I imagine he was working hard all day out in the cold, too. It was a huge relief to know I wasn't forgotten in all that chaos!
