Writing this in April of 2025. I just had an amazing experience with Dunning Roofing & Restoration! Jason Dunning provided top notch customer service throughout the entire experience. Whether you are a newbie or have had your roof replaced before you will feel at ease. I have extensive experience with contractors and it’s easy for me to see if I’m being treated honestly and with integrity. Absolutely no question that Jason operates with these values. He’s genuine and carefully walks you through the entire process before hand so you know what to expect. The work itself was of the highest quality and blew away the previous roofers I’ve worked with. The pricing was fair and reasonable and he’s an advocate with you while interacting with your insurance company. I was so impressed I also had his crew work on some separate exterior home improvement items. That work matched both the quality and competitive pricing he did related to the roofing so don’t miss out on that opportunity if you have him doing your roof. I will definitely work with Jason again and can’t recommend him and his crew more highly. Thanks again to Jason and his entire crew for a job well done!

Jason is a real blessing to this community. He is quick to respond when the roof comes flying off and you are worried about any damage to your home from weather. We were new to the area a few years ago and Jason shows to always have a great set of standards when dealing with customers and crews when putting new roofs on. we had a roof put on when we were hit with really bad storms. We have used Jason Dunning for 2 roofing claims in the past 8 years, the most recent one was Jan/Feb 2023 and involved wind damage/hail damage. We had roof and shingle repair/replacement, exterior paint damage/repair, gutter damage/repair, window and shutter damage/repair, fence damage/repair, play set damage/repair and patio damage/repair. The first claim was 8 years ago when the entire DFW area was hit by several hail storms. We had water damage, roof damage, windows, dry wall, living room wall damage (interior and exterior), bathroom, garage, patio, fence and play set damage. Jason made sure everything was taken care of from handling the insurance company, meeting up with the adjuster, correcting anything on the claim, reviewing work to be done (everything was done quickly and efficiently), making suggestions on replacement products, handling any/all funds, working repairs that fit your schedule, hiring qualified crews which completed his higher standards of roofing repairs and he was extremely personable. We have the utmost respect for Jason and his business because he has demonstrated his personal dedication and commitment to maintaining a high moral character and integrity in every decision and along the entire process of our experience. You can tell that his crews respect him and he demonstrates his commitment and concern for his crews/employees-there is a mutual respect that is shared. I have recommended Jason and his company for years and everyone who has chosen to use him has also been very pleased with his work.

Dunning Rooding did an excellent job replacing my roof. I couldn't ask for a better experience from beginning to end. I put off replacing my roof not wanting to deal with it. I won't do that again will call Jason without hesitation.

Jason did an AMAZING job implementing a plan to completely replace a hail damaged roof, repaint the house, re-stain the fence, replace rotted wood around the garage, power wash the exterior, and install new gutters in a matter of 4 days! We have worked with Jason over the last 7 years and he is always reliable, dependable and responsive. He’s a true Professional! During the 4 day installation, he was on site multiple times a day to inspect the quality and always had time to speak with us when we had questions. I would not hesitate to recommend Jason and I will continue to use him for any roofing repairs or other restoration needs. He is the only roofer I would ever consider using!

Jason, Tyler and their team did a great job. They were professional and on point. I had roof shingles, screens and a garage door replaced. They came at 6am and left after sundown. Job was done in 2 days. Would definitely use in the future.

After one of our many storms, we noticed a small leak in the roof caused by previous hail damage. I was given Jason Dunning’s information from a friend who was extremely satisfied with a previous job Dunning Roofing did on his house. Jason’s entire team did a great job installing a new roof, gutters, several window screens, and fixing some interior wall damage. I would definitely use Dunning Roofing and Restoration again if needed, and I would recommend this company to anyone needing to replace their roof or fix other storm damage.

Dunning Roofing & Restoration completely changed my perception of home remodeling and roofing companies. Had issues in the past with some "dicey" companies who came out of the gate strong, but failed to do what they said they would do.

The professionalism of Dunning Roofing is literally thru the roof. I was in a real pinch to get my roof work completed quickly. Dunning went through each option available very clearly to remedy my roof issue based on "my circumstances." (Such as: insurance deductible, future home plans, HOA requirements, and local code specifications and adherence) No 4 hour sales pitch, just open, transparent direct information.

Extremely pleased with the communication, and the quality of the work completed 100% as described/promised, and at a fair price. While I do not write very many reviews, Dunning went above and beyond so felt compelled. The last thing I will mention, the folks at Dunning Roofing made everything so comfortable and effortless for my entire family. Dunning Roofing did an incredible job. We had our roof replaced years ago by a different company and it was a nightmare. It was the exact opposite working with Dunning Roofing. Jason was incredibly insightful and honest, and very consultative. He walked us through the different options for shingles, gutters and trim colors. And he made the process very easy for us, especially working with our insurance company, claims adjuster and HOA. The final result looked fantastic -- better than what we had before.
