i’ve been battling leaky chimneys and roofing for the past 25 years. Shannon Ducote came in and noted the chimneys were not supported like they should have been. His company then refoofed my house and sealed the chimneys. They did an excellent job and no longer have any leaks. They are very quick, efficient and clean job. They’re excellent and Shannon is very dependable and knowledgeable.

Dealing with Shannon, owner of Ducote Roofing, was a pleasure. Very professional and knowledgeable. The crew was polite and very hard working men. The quality and workmanship of our new roof is awesome! Cannot recommend them enough.

I called on a week day and Shannon Ducote showed up the same day. He gave us a price with written follow up the same day. Couldn’t have been easier. Shannon and I stayed in contact and his crew came less than a week after the initial contact. They completed the job in one day and my roof area is quite large. I can’t see how this job could have gone any better than it did.

Found a roof leak during a large rain on a Sunday night. Contacted Shannon the Monday morning, he squeezed me in to his schedule to tarp my roof to prevent any further leaking. The roof needed to be replaced, two weeks later his crew showed up and replaced the roof. Quick, quality, and clean job completed. Roof looks great and great service.

Shannon and his company here hired to perform several projects on our property. Replaced 89 square roof, insuring the integrity of the flashing around the chimneys, fixing construction issues that weren’t obvious to just anyone, sealing the bricks and windows and replacing the screws on a metal barn, his people did it all. They were all very professional and knowledgeable in their trade. When an issue arose they came back immediately to fix the issue. Would highly recommend using Shannon and his crews.

From the get go Ducote Roofing were professional, courteous, and helpful. Shannon gave prompt and very thorough advice. The proposal was the most economical one I received. Once the proposal was executed and the brand and color of the shingles were selected, they began the processes. The next morning the material was delivered at 8am.
Due to the recent rain, the crew waited an extra day to start. They arrived at 7am and were finished with demolition, discarding of the old product and completion of the installation of the new material by 2pm that day.

In a world where customer service is so rare, I'm happy to say that my experience with Ducote Roofing of Maurice was actually perfect! I was able to speak to the owner with no issues. After he had my details, the supplies were delivered in around one week. 6 days later, my new roof was up! The roofers were kind and courteous. After was the job was done, I could not find a shingle, a nail, NOTHING in my yard. They cleaned it such that it was better than before they did the job. I had struggled previously with one of the big Lafayette companies that demanded $4000 IN ADVANCE just to get me on the schedule! I would have had to wait an undetermined amount of time before they would change my roof. Getting a basic contract from the other company was like pulling teeth. I finally had enough and turned to Ducote Roofing after being enlightened by retired contractor friend about roofers who demand so much cash upfront. Thank you, Shannon and all of the crew of Decote roofing!

Shannon was quick to come out and give an estimate. He was very helpful in dealing with the insurance claim. Supplies were delivered and roof installed all within a week of getting estimate. Very quick, thorough, and all the work was done properly. Would highly recommend.

He came out right away for an estimate, and our new roof was installed within days- and this all happened during the Covid-19 pandemic. We did a complete re-roof including a troublesome flat roof area. Very Professional, great crew, they did an excellent job and did it in one day including adding attic fans. They cleaned up everything down to blowing the sidewalk and picking debris out of the flower beds. I am very satisfied and happy that I chose Shannon for the job. He came out in the rain to look at our roof and leaks the same day I called him. He’s using an excellent product, Atlas roofing systems with 3M Scotchguard architectural shingles. The house looks great and we don’t have to worry about a leaky roof anymore. I highly recommend them.

Very disappointing. They arrive and without informing us they were on the property, started working. Scared my wife when she went out to the back yard to find 2 strangers there - they did not even call to announce they were coming. The next morning they did the same thing and since the back gate was locked they must have jumped the fence and unlocked it. They used our trash container, without asking, and filled it to the point of breaking it. They finished the job and left without informing us. For the price I would expect a lot more professionalism.

Follow up: To their credit they did return, apologized and removed the old singles from the trash. Not to many companies would do that.

Mr. Ducote is extremely professional. He came out to look at my roof after being damaged by hail. He explained in detail what his carpenters and roofers could do to repair my carport and replace my roof. He showed samples and gave a quote, which beat all the other quotes I had recieved, and offered a great warranty. I hired him on the spot and I am very pleased with the workmanship and look of my new roof.

From the first day we talked to Shannon Ducote about replacing our roof, he was very helpful in giving us a prompt bid and all the information about the type of roof needed. I asked to have the job of replacing my roof and fixing and painting a crack in my ceiling from a prior leak while we left to go on vacation. They were able to work with my schedule which was a plus for us and the work they did is top notch! Richie, the salesman, was very informative about the products that they use and how much longer they last in comparison to products that other roofers in town use. They guarantee their work for 10 years and I was able to pay for the entire roof with a credit card of which I earn miles so I was very happy about that! Have had several jobs completed by Ducote Roofing. My experience has been excellent! Built a large beautiful patio, looks great, construction sound and the best follow up I have ever had! Just replaced roof and some other odd construction projects, once again job great and follow up fantastic!

We needed a new roof due to recent hail damage. We were able to get several estimates and talk to alot of roofers and neighbors. We were very impressed with his laid back (not rushed) professionalism and knowledge. Mr. Shannon sat and discussed in detail the products available and the needs of our particular roof. My husband was not available that day and he didn't treat me like a female that was beneath him. His estimate was individual and he didn't ask to see other estimates I had or about my insurance. His estimate was by far lower than others. We saw other roofs in our neighborhood that his company had replaced and choose him as a result. The job they did for us was exceptional. We are very pleased with the quality of his work. He didn't come to collect for the roof until almost 2 weeks after the job was complete. We had never had that happen before...NEVER

I asked a quote on a total re roofing to the best rated BBB Company in Lafayette and around. Ducote Roofing in Maurice was from far the best price ( from 30% to 80% cheaper than any other roofing company) and gave me the most for my money install only new vent and ridge vent , + top brand name Owen Corming duration . all workers were friendly , quick attention to any details and left the house perfectly pristine around. the result is stunning , looks like a new house. Yes I will recommend Ducote roofing not just for the great price but for the Great Job his team did on my roof. Bravo and Thank You Monsieur Ducote for your honesty .
