Drain Right Guttering

We hired Drain Right to replace the gutters on our home a few years ago (2021). The gutters were of great quality and have held up well. We recently discovered a void along the edge of our roofline (fault of the roofer), which a few squirrels had exploited to access our attic. I was curious if it could've had to do with how the gutters had been installed, so I called Drain Right to come take a look. The pulled back the shingles and found where a void existed in how the roof decking wasn't meeting the facia (likely due to a poor repair job from where a tree had fallen against this area of the house several years ago). The squirrels had even gnawed out a section of drip-edge to widened a gap for themselves to get in and out. Brooks and his team were able to repair the section of drip-edge and shore up the remainder of the void with some wider flashing. This undoubtedly corrected the main defect- however, there is always a strong chance that the ever-resourceful squirrels will eventually find another exploit until at least one squirrel generation forgets our attic is so cozy. We will see if I can keep them out that long :) Anyways... Drain Right did a great job in doing what they could to remedy the problem. Much appreciation to Brooks and his team for their work and professionalism! Definitely recommended.

Needed repairs to a downspout and sent email to Drain Right online. The next morning received a call stating that someone would be out that day to evaluate and provide an estimate. Received estimate and recommendation on improvements needed that day and went over the scope of work. The work was scheduled and completed in a timely manner. Drain Right Guttering did a great job of replacing my gutters from start to finish. Justin came out to measure and provide an estimate along with samples of gutters including optional leaf guards. I checked their reviews, and have seen their commercials; everything seemed to point to this being the company I'd like to have come and take care of my gutter needs. Yet, after trying to call/contact them three times in a one-week period and only getting an answering machine, I'm thinking I'll try another company. Not having anyone to answer the phone when a customer wants to BUY something or arrange for work is even worse than not getting any service after a sale.

Had gutters installed on the front of my house where I was having issues. Worked with Justin who was great! Got an initial estimate from him and decided to just do the front so I called him to comeback out and he remembered me from months back! He always showed up exactly when said he would unlike 2 other companies I dealt with. Another even showed up, look at the job and never got back with me with an estimate. Another quoted a higher price and wasn’t including the same amount of down spouts. I accepted the quote that drain right gave me which was fair and they gave me a timeline of when the work would be completed. Someone called the day before the work was to be completed to give me an eta in which they arrive early.

I was very pleased with the work. Color matched perfectly and install looks great overall. Crew was prompt and professional.

The company seemed very pleasant during our first meeting. They quoted me 700$ for gutter cleaning and a 20’ span of gutter. After the company rescheduled 3 times the Installers put a 6” gutter up that didnt match the rest of the gutters. My only request was for the gutters to be the same. (The rest of the house is done in 5”) The evening after the install my flood lights began flickering. Up until that evening they worked perfectly. I contacted Drain Right Guttering and let them know the problem. They brought an electrician out and the electricians diagnosis was that they had either put a screw through the neutral line on the lights or the extra inch (keep in mind they were supposed to install 5” gutters like the rest of the house.) was causing a reflection on the sensors to the lights. That day they switched the gutter to the 5” (the gutter I requested which is the same as the rest of my home) and the lights now work properly. I recently received a statement from them for 926$ including the charges they incurred for the electrician. (226.50$ for the electrician) I called them and explained very civilly that I did not believe that I should be responsible for the charges of the electrician. Both the older woman and the owner flew off the handle at me. Stating “You are the reason small businesses fail” and “Pay whatever you want.” I recorded the whole conversation. I repeatedly asked them to please stop yelling at me. And that I was not trying to argue. Since that phone call I Emailed them twice (the first was not responded to) the second was responded to today stating that I was responsible for the electrician that they paid for to fix the problem they caused on my home. They were paid the 700$ which was the quote for the work preformed.

Just got new gutters from Drain Right. Guess what? They drain right!
My old gutters had leaked and sagged for a while now. They weren't very effective. But, just moments ago the install of new 6 inch gutters fixed that. Literally within half an hour of the crew leaving the bottom fell out! A real gully (or should I say gutter) washer! The gutters handled the heavy rain with no issues and best of all, no leaks. I know cause I got my umbrella and walked around the house checking to be sure.
What a great job the crew did. Not only did they do a great job, they were prompt, efficient, responsive to my requests, and very friendly!
The Drain Right crew did my house in 2 days. They had to maneuver around the screens on my porch (with no issues), they even provided perfect downspout connectors and ran them into my existing french drains. I cannot be effusive enough. This was a great job.

I called Drain Right after getting a few other quotes. Ther price was good and I love that our salesman Brooks Fossett was not pushy. A crew of 4 came out a few days later and did a excellent job. Their attention to detail was great. All the corners got caulked and sealed and they used lots of anchors. I bought there cover system and it keeps out the leaves and drains perfectly. Thanks
