INTEGRITY is the best way to describe Jesse and his team! 1. I solicited multiple bids to replace or repair an existing deck. Most contractors wanted to tear down and replace at a much higher cost than to replace what was needed. 2. Unlike other contractors I received bids from nothing is paid until the work is complete. 3. You get to interact with the business owner Jesse throughout to project and not just the workers 4. Although not military, he comes from a military family and has a passion for helping veterans create a get away space.

There were a couple of challenges due to weather & siding supply, but once everything was on track everything was good. Jesse was easy to talk to & listened to what we needed. He & his crew went above & beyond when they did some extra repairs not quoted. Overall good experience.

Bottom Line: I highly recommend Jesse and Bama Gutter and Siding.

Jesse contacted me within minutes of inquiring about a project for replacing my screened in porch. Jesse arrived the next business day and provided a written estimate of the work to be performed along with the associated cost and time frame. Examples of other projects were also submitted as a reference. Jesse was able to get me on the schedule within a week and arrived on time.

The work was completed with high quality and in alignment with the estimated timeline provided and Jesse facilitated a final walk around upon completion. I will be reaching out to Jesse and Bama Gutter and Siding for future projects.

We needed help with gutters on an older home, replacing a downspout and securing loose spots. Bama Gutters & Siding came out on time and did the work at reasonable price and did a great job! Jesse is super kind and easy going. When I initially spoke to him about fixing my parents steps he was ready and willing to go to their house and take a look that very day. He and his team did a wonderful job building my parents stairs off of the back porch along with rebuilding a new fence for the yard as well as removing old stairs from another part of the porch. He was even gracious enough to throw in some handrails that needed fixing as well. Great guy easy to communicate with and listens to what you need!

I own two homes. I have many experiences with a myriad of housing contractors. My experience with Jesse and his crew is by far one of the best experiences that I have ever had with any of the work that I have ever had done. I had a roof that needed replacing and an emergency with my deck. He stepped right in secured the deck from causing further damage. Then when time permitted replaced the deck and the roof. I travel and was out of town. He and his crew did an excellent job. The roof will likely outlast me! The deck is better, more stable and more aesthetically pleasing than the original construction. As a homeowner finding honest, dependable and competent contractors is like finding gold! PURE GOLD can be found at BAMA GUTTER AND SIDING! I recommend this business highly and without reservation.

On edit: Apparently the only way to get their attention is to lower the star rating. They never answered any of numerous emails about this subject, and now they come with a response to my rating by complaining. Is it Amy's Baking Company all over again? I don't know why this young person thinks an elderly couple has the ability to do such physical work as to stain our own deck, if we did, we wouldn't have hired him, we'd have built it ourselves as well. To answer his response, both of us have disabilities that prevent us from doing this sort of manual labor and we did ask him about it at the day, and he said to let it rest a certain amount of time. We have emailed him numerous times asking about it, but never heard ANYTHING back until I lowered my rating.

The deck itself is great, but NEEDS STAINING. The siding is beautiful. The work that they DID do is gorgeous, but if you hire them, make sure you spell out in no uncertain terms what you expect them to do for you. While we did think we had done so, I guess he didn't understand what we were saying. I'll raise my review my one more star to acknowledge that at least we finally got a reply in some fashion at least.

I'm lowering their review by three stars as they were supposed to come back and stain the deck so it won't rot, but after a year they have not. They have ignored all emails asking about when they are coming to stain the deck with protective stain and they won't even reply. I'm afraid I won't recommend them for deck building since they ignore followup questions. Without a protective stain, the deck is just going to rot. We're an elderly couple and physically can't do this work ourselves.

Bama Gutter and Siding replaced the decks in both our front and back and they did a beautiful job. They were very professional and courteous. They were so good that we plan to hire them to put vinyl siding on our house as well. I would highly recommend them!
