Service Advisor was Mon who took very good care of us even though we came in from 80 miles away without an appointment with a newly purchased 2018 XT5. We ere impressed with his service and appreciated the loaner for the morning.

My wife and I were actually saved from being stranded today (Saturday) by Mr. Dossett himself. I am from North Texas and was passing through en route to Gulf Shores when my GMC truck started cutting out/engine light came on. We limped it to Dossett cadi/GMC but their service department was closed with only sales open. Mr. Dossett went out of his way, driving me a couple miles down the road to the rental car place and helped us get a vehicle, so we could continue our vacation. He let me leave my truck with them, so they can diagnose/fix it Monday. He acted like it was no big deal to go out of his way, but I don’t think he realized just how much it meant to us. Anyone looking for a vehicle would be a fool not to shop here! First class people!

Great service, in a timely manner with just plain old fashion people to help you through any vehicle repairs you have. The service department team were able to get my vehicle in immediately, diagnosing the problem, made the repairs and had my truck back in less than an hours time. Jam up service department. I’m so relieved that my car is finally fixed! Firstly, I want to give a special thanks and shout out to Mr. Terrence Polk and the management at this establishment who went above and beyond to fix my wayward vehicle lol. I brought my car in because it would run fine and then once you kill the engine depending on how far a distance I drove, it may or may not start up again until you let it cool for a couple hours first. I had this issue a little more than a year!

It was really frustrating as I had already taken it to another mechanic who was not able to successfully fix this for me. I was at my wits end and after having taken the car in for multiple repair services elsewhere, I finally came to the conclusion that either I map out the shortest distances and deal with it, or start looking for a new car. I ended up calling GMC at Dossett and the manager was so attentive to listening to my history of this issue and asking me clarifying questions. I was really surprised just at this phone call. They seemed like they really wanted to help. The manager asked me to come in and said he was confident his team could help me.

I met Mr. Terrence shortly thereafter. This man was so warm, patient, and attentive that I knew I was in the right place. He wrote down pretty much everything I told him about the symptoms of my car issue and went right to work. He called me to give me updates every step of the way and when I went to pick my car back up it’s been totally fixed! Thank you so much Mr Terrence! You have no idea how much stress you guys helped to unburden!

Phenomenal customer service!! Each time that I take my car in to get serviced, Mr. Terrence Polk goes far and beyond to ensure that the needs of my vehicle are provided. He takes the time to answer any questions that I may have and he always explains the services that will be performed. He also explains services that will be needed for my follow-up visits. I really appreciate his attention to details and willingness to assist in making sure that my vehicle is serviced to my satisfaction.

But first impressions walking in, everyone was trying to help me, not just looking at a computer screen. Terence greeted everyone, even other employees, and knew customers names coming in. I took my car in for scheduled engine air filter and cabin air filter replacement. The technician noticed rodent debris in the cabin air filter and received permission to open up the area more to remove the source of the rodent debris even though this would require additional shop time above the usual charge. I completely agreed to this and appreciated how the whole situation was handled.

Best service experience ever at any dealership. My 2022 GMC Sierra Denali needed recall service to install parking sensor chips. I arrived early and was prepared for 4 hours of waiting. The service professional, Terry, is a great guy: professional, friendly, up-front - I couldn't ask for a better interaction for service. The customer waiting area is exceptional. Terry returned my key to me in under 2 hours, and the job was done correctly. Even though I have a closer dealer who sold me the vehicle, Dossett will have my business from now on.

I was on a recent trip with my sisters to Hattiesburg to visit a friend and then continue on to Laurel and Fairhope, Al. On the way to Hattiesburg the check engine light appeared on my sister’s new GMC Terrain (approximately 1800 miles). The Hattiesburg friend drives a Cadillac and recommended Dossett GMC. The next morning, Friday, we took the car to Dossett GMC dealership. The service consultants were all very welcoming and Terence Polk found my sister’s car information in the computer system. Terence had the car checked out, found it to be a fuel pump problem and was able to work in the repair in a few hours. Thankfully due to the efficiency of service our “sister trip” was minimally impacted. We appreciate Terence and the other service consultants.
