Worst car buying experience I've ever had. Zero communication between departments. Next to zero communication from staff to customer. I got the run around for 6 weeks on a car that was supposed to ready for sale in 1 week. I was told my customer file couldn't be found and my deposit never arrived. Wrong information was relayed to me from the start. Many messages and questions not answered. Sent to voice mail nearly every time I called despite asking to speak to a human. As soon as I requested a refund on my $500 deposit, they ghosted me for nearly 2 weeks. Emails and texts left unanswered by the staff. In the end, I had to verify with my bank that the money order had in fact been cashed weeks prior and then file a police report for fraud and theft. I had to drive 70 miles to their dealership and show up with 2 uniformed police officers to act as civil stand bys while I threatened them with civil action. Magically, my deposit receipt was found with in 5 minutes and they were on the phone with the finance office. Still had to wait 90 minutes for the check to be delivered to the dealership. Bunch of clowns and rip off artists working at Don Wood Automotive.

Very professional and met all my needs. Remy was definitely a stand up guy. I would recommend to anyone looking for a good car

My husband and I went to this dealership to simply get his truck diagnosed. We ended up leaving with two new vehicles. Alec Alksnis was a wonderful salesman to work with. He is friendly, patient, and not your typical pushy salesman. The other salesmen on the floor were friendly as well. Jodi, the business manager was great to work with as well! This has been the single worst experience of buying a vehicle I have ever encountered. The truck I purchase in December 2024 had a bad back up camera in it. It was in writing that the dealership would fix it. After 6 months of no return calls or communication from the service department, I had to go back to the salesman. Another month passed by and I was finally able to deliver my truck. Of course, no one was around to provide me with a loaner vehicle so that promise was broken. Then, I get a call from the service department to tell me my truck was supposed to go to their other location for service, despite the fact the sales person I spoke with said I could drop it off at the location I did and they would deliver it to the other location for me. This place is disorganized. The right hand does not know what the left is doing. There is little to no communication and it is clear that the purchaser is not the priority. Terrible experience!!

We traveled 3 hours to come. Get a vehicle from them because they had the best price for that truck and it check all the boxes on my husband's very long list. We did have a new person and he was still learning. But he was very nice. The showroom was clean and very nice looking. All the sales people and managers were very nice and accommodating.

Only thing I would recommend is when somebody makes a purchase that large, maybe put at least a half a take of gas in the tank.

I also am very grateful they let us go on a test drive by ourselves. At first, the salesperson got into the front seat was gonna go with us. But if my husband's buying a truck, I'm not sitting in the back seat, I want to sit in the front seat. So I can see everything because when he's buying something, i'm also getting to put input on if we purchase. So it was nice that they picked up on that and let us do the test drive alone. Because if not we probably would have left with no truck.

I brought my truck in to have the brakes fixed. They "fixed" it. Upon picking it up the brakes still were not right so I returned it. Upon picking it up for the 2nd time the brakes still were not right. I paid over 1k dollars and I'll still have to take it somewhere else. I've owned my truck 6 years and the brakes have never felt this bad before.

Needed a new suv after my Encore got totaled. Went in and found Shaun in sales. He got us into this amazing Equinox premiere. Shaun and Zachary in finance were fast and efficient with our time. Will be back the next time we need another ride.

I have stage 4 meditastic melanoma. And a whole bunch of other medical issues that I go to specialist for, I had went to this place to buy a vehicle to get me back and forth from treatments instead they decided to sell me one that had a lot of issues. So beware they do clear codes and make sure you have a tester on site. These guys are not to be trusted! And that's coming from someone who has an terminal illness you could literally die from his illness due to the fact is not being able to get to doctors! Take that to the bank don't trust him and I'll never return!

Jordan males was my sales man and he’s was really good at doing his job he told me he would get the job done and two days later I was driving off in a 2022 Chevy equinox!!! Couldn’t think him enough!!!

On February 24th, 2025, my husband drove over an hour after work to surprise me with a certified used 2015 Yukon Denali XL, featuring a 7-inch lift. I had only seen the vehicle online and hoped it would perform as well as advertised. However, within 30 minutes of driving it, he noticed issues with the front suspension and a grinding noise from the rear. He contacted Mason at the dealership, who told him to bring it back the next morning. We were extremely disappointed to discover such major issues immediately after purchase. I dropped the vehicle off at 9 a.m. and reported several problems: rear-end dragging, popping from front driver side, a half-functional touchscreen, poorly adjusted headlights (visibility under 4 feet), tire rubbing, and warm AC. Although they said it would be looked at by the following tuesday,  the vehicle sat for over 2 week before being inspected. They replaced the passenger-side wheel bearing and dismissed the rear noise as “normal” for the lift kit. Less than 15 minutes into our return drive, the same issues persisted and we returned the vehicle again to the shop. After more poor communication with Zach (manager) and the shop, they replaced the transmission. We received by delivery the vehicle back on April 2nd—only to find the muffler had been cut in half, and the original problems remained with the front end noise. The next day, the check engine light came on. When I called, Zach admitted the repairs had already cost them more than expected and said they were “losing money” fixing it so he asked me to bring it back and swap for a different Yukon so they could take mine to auction. I  then took the vehicle to Trails West for an independent inspection. They discovered a completely broken driver-side strut and over $2,100 in safety-related repairs. After another meeting with the dealership, they agreed to look at the engine light but refused to address the suspension. I was given a FOR SALE rental vehicle from their lot that reeked of animal urine. Eventually, they claimed a loose spark plug caused the engine light and fixed the muffler—three days later. They also forgot the AC, which required another two days. They attempted to charge our extended warranty for an AC condenser without informing us, but it was denied. We ultimately picked up the still broken vehicle ourselves. Now, we’re facing over $3,000 in out-of-pocket repairs to make it safe. The management, communication, and professionalism throughout this process were unacceptable. Their so-called CERTIFIED inspection process appears entirely unreliable. Buyers beware.

They were so great. I came from Mark porter and had a horrible experience. I decided to attempt this dealership. They didn’t have a new Acadia like I wanted, but they had a used one for a good price. Jordan and Remy were so friendly. They all worked very hard to ensure I was able to get what I wanted with a payment about where I wanted it to be. Definitely appreciate them.

I have now bought 3 vehicles from them and I have gotten all of my service done there and never have had any issues the team there are always willing to go above and beyond what they need to do to make sure I am taken care of couldn't recommend enough great place and great staff

There was no pressure they did everything they could even selling a motorcycle for us to be able to get into our new truck.
