Had a great experience with a leaking roof a rental property. They diagnosed the problem, fixed the roof, and no leaks since. Great communication, efficient service, did a great clean job. Recently got the letter from my insurance telling me to replace my roof. Asked some friends if they had a recommendation for a company to use and they all told me to give Domestic Design a call. They came out and gave me a quote which was better than I thought given what some of my neighbors had paid. They were easy to work with and were able to get started fairly quickly after I approved the work to start. I have a large roof and they still completed the job in 2.5 days. I would definitely recommend them to anyone needing a new roof.

Their Team did an excellent job. Johnathan and Caleb, the supervisors on the job were courteous, and always in contact.
Very nice touch compared to the last time we had our roof done.
I was impressed when Johnathan knocked on the door to let me know they had cracked one of the light tubes and had to order it, and would put it in as soon as they had it.
I was very impressed again when Caleb and one of the other team members came back and cleaned some tar spots off the driveway. I had put it on my “to-do list” because I didn’t think it was uncommon to have a little cleanup on my own after the job was done. But there they were on hands and knees cleaning the pavers. That was "Above and Beyond!", again compared to the last time I had my roof done.
Benchmark Quality Gutter's team came in two days later and installed the gutters. Also a great team, Both team members were friendly and engaging, making sure we were getting what we asked for. John reviewed the job, and we updated an item to make the job complete. I can see why these two teams partner up! They were in and out in good time, answered our questions and made sure we were satisfied in the end.

Domestic Design does quality work and stands by it. We have had zero issues with our new roof and when and if we have had concerns, Danny has responded and attended to them in less than 24 hours. You can't beat service like this!

I highly recommend this company. I was selling a house and it was near closing. The buyers insurance company wouldn't insure the property unless we got a new roof installed which was part of the contract. I was running out of time and called various vendors for a quote, I told them the urgency of the situation and that I needed it done ASAP in order to close for the house.

Danny answered the call that day, got a quote to me by that afternoon. Friday of that week, I called him up and said we want to go with you and that I absolutely need this done ASAP. He sent me the documentation to sign that Friday, I got all the paperwork notorized Saturday, then he got the permits Monday, ordered and received all the materials Tuesday, and the entire job was done Wednesday. The entire process took from Friday to the following Wednesday (5 days) and he was lower price than the other quotes I got and the quality was great. He really saved me and again I would highly recommend, 5 stars.

I am singing the praises of Domestic Design Roofing for the amazing job they just completed on our two story house. Not only did they complete the job in 2 days, but the cleanup was spotless. The consultation with Dan prior to beginning was spot on as to type of shingle, color change, the process from beginning to end. The crew were very conscious of the quality of their work and the desire to leave the surrounding grounds as clean as possible. Best roof and roofing company we've ever encountered. 5 stars for sure! I did my due diligence on a lot of companies. Called around 13 roofers and got quotes. They were willing to negotiate price against other competitors and overall gave me the best price for the same services that others were offering (GAF Timberline silver package). Once price was negotiated we set up a time. They were extremely punctual and got the job done quick and clean. When I had a issue with something they fixed it quickly with no fuss. I highly recommend this company for your roofing needs. Very professional! Be sure to get with Danny! He will answer every question you have and be honest on things you need or dont.

A Go-to Roofing company! Fast, organized, and informative to what my roof needed, and what would be the best to correct problems that arose. Helped me find financing that was fast and decent for the time we are living in, Promptly was able to schedule. Didn't try and sell me something I did not need. Was able to give me pictures of rot, and areas that had to be replaced with new CSX sheeting. I work from home, and had to go in and out a few times to my home, the workers were courteous and paused their work to allow me to get inside and out. New roof looks great, more than I could ask for!

We were recommended to DDR by our architect because DDR is certified Pli-dek installers. Pli-dek is a 5 stage decking system for flat roofs or decks. It is waterproof and strong and we are very happy with it. Danny, Ryan and Jonathon were awesome to work with....even with a few glitches that came up. I have already highly recommended them to friends for their decks and certainly will use them again for another project. -Janie

Domestic Design Roofing replaced the roof on the condominium I live in, over the July 4th holiday. I was out of town toward the end of the project. Things had gone smoothly, crews were hardworking, but as sometimes happens there was an unfortunate error that led to my air conditioner being damaged. The owner, Danny Britt contacted me immediately, organized and paid my a/c company to address the situation ASAP and found high quality accommodation for my houseguests during the record hot days, until a/c could be re-established. Danny followed through, stayed in touch and did all that was in his power to insure the minimum of inconvenience to me. While I would rather have had it be a routine roofing job, I was impressed with the level of communication and fairness that I experienced with Domestic Design. I also feel very secure going into hurricane season with our brand new roof!

We recently replaced our roof with Domestic Design, a project that took three business days inclusive of delivery of dumpster, removal of old roof shingles, siginificant external chimney work, install of new shingles, drip edge, and [to correct a design flaw in our gutter] some gutter adjustment work. They were prompt and professional. Also good about cleaning up the work site and removing the debris.
The roof replacement market down here is pretty chaotic, but I'd suggest this company as one you should seriously consider for this kind of project.

Danny and his team at Domestic Design Roofing (DDR) are amazing. Extremely professional, knowledgeable and capable. Despite a full schedule and on short notice, they responded to our elderly family members’ home in Fernandina Beach that was experiencing rainwater intrusion from a 30’ high roofline. They quickly assessed the situation and determined the roof was intact, but identified substantial stucco cracks in the adjacent rake walls. The DDR Team went above and beyond to seal up the walls and repaired/reconfigured the gutters around the entire home. They even took before and after photos. Do yourselves a favor and call these guys first.

Domestic Designs recently replaced our roof and we could not have been more pleased with the job from the beginning to the end. Danny, the owner, is genuine, fair and a pleasure to work with. This was the first time ever using DDR. After noticing a water stain on the drywall, we had DDR come out and find a massive hole in our 2 story roof, caused by tree branches rubbing over the years. Within a few days of inspection, they had all materials and guys back up and replacing the damaged section. They left a clean yard, and were very courteous and professional. I will definitely be using again.

Called a few companies for a new roof estimate for our home in Fernandina Beach. One never called back. One came and emailed the estimates and never responded to a couple of questions. One came out, emailed the estimates, answered the questions and followed up. We chose DD because of the responsiveness. There was miscommunication on a specific area of the roof and the work wasn't done as discussed. When I brought it to Danny's attention I was dreading the problems I was sure would ensue. About knocked me over when he said "It's my fault, we'll get it fixed right away". Then he did! Within a week!!! Anyone can make a mistake. It takes a professional to acknowledge the mistake and then follow through on their word. I would recommend DD because they are timely, professional, courteous, and in my experience, honest.

Domestic Design Roofing has been great for us.
We have a very low pitch roof, and have had problems finding a roofer that understands this to be a roof that must meet strict requirements set by the state of Florida.
Wanting a steel roof because of its durability and resale value here in Florida, we talked with Danny who walked us through the options we had.
Domestic Design Roofing, more so Danny was able to inspect our old roof and determine what was needed, and more important work with material suppliers to find the better grade steel roofing at a cost we could afford.
Jose the crew leader that worked on the house as well as his crew started work on the roof like a well oiled machine, replaced wood where needed, and installed the new steel roof within a few days.
There work was outstanding taking there time to assure areas around the fireplace were constructed correctly, yet finishing the roof in such a fast pace we and our neighborhood homes owners were very impressed.
The crew working on the roof were all very friendly, professional, and cleaned up after the work day every day.
After the job was finished the crew did not even leave any evidence that they were ever even there except for a great looking new roof that will last us many years to come.

Having previously worked as a residential property insurance adjuster, I have come across a lot of unscrupulous roofers in the past, and this has led me to be very selective in who I would choose to work with.
