When we had a roof emergency, Wes came to our rescue! He patched the roof that day to stop the water from literally pouring into our home. His team also began and finished a total roof replacement before the end of the week. We are now leak free, up to code, and our roof looks amazing! Adam Clarke came to my home and took the proper measurements, telling me he would work up a quote for our roof damage. He spent the time to get on the roof and measure as I expected. That was the last time I ever heard from him. I called and left voicemails and texted but no response.

I've used Distinctive Roofing since my previous roofer "ghosted" me. Every time I contact Distinctive, I always heard back within 24 hours and almost always with a plan. They were the roofer who wouldn't immediately suggest roof replacement until the insurance company likely would have. In other words, they're not out to just make insurance claims and drum up business.

For example: I've had at least three single repairs from storm damage and in those three, roof replacement was only suggested as my roof was aging. Each shingle repair was flawless.

Months after a hailstorm in my area, a door-to-door roofer "checked" my roof and saw 'hail-strikes'. This was suspicious to me, so I called my roofer (Distinctive). We found I did have some hail-damage, but whether to replace the roof was questionable. So, I called an adjuster to meet with my roofer, and they took lots of pictures and consulted. It was determined by my adjuster to replace the roof. More, the claim was more than the roof cost! Distinctive also surveyed (with their permission) my neighbors' houses and said no replacement or damage repair was necessary.

Shingles arrived the day before the roof replacement, not a week. The pallets of shingles sat only overnight. The crew who came the next day worked in probably the hottest day of the summer. I felt bad for them, because of the heat, but understand, it's what they do. They tolerated the heat and did fine work.

One caution (as this would be the case with ANY roofer): Borrow or buy a 50lb pull roll-around magnet. I cannot stress enough how many nails you might find in the grass after a new roof. And this was after the roofing crew swept the surrounding area with hand-held magnet sweepers. It surprised our roofer how many nails I picked up. So, while this doesn't reflect the roofer's quality here, ANY good roofing crew will incidentally leave some nails hidden in the grass.

All that said, YES, I would recommend Distinctive Roofing.

Wes and his team have done great work on both our rooftop deck and juliet balcony, which have caused links not just in our unit, but all units in our complex due to poor quality work during initial construction.

We first used them before closing on our house for repairs on the Juliet Balcony. The balcony was slanted towards the house rather than away, flowing water towards the house instead of away - damaging the door frame, floor outside the door and the ceiling below. Our realtor actually found Distinctive Roofing thanks to great reviews and we happy to see that once fixed there's been no signs of leaking since.

A few weeks after move in our ceiling started leaking following the snow and ice and we immediately contacted Wes. We had to wait about a week as storms continued, but once repairs started it took about half a day. Wes was responsive throughout the process.

A few weeks after repair another storm hit and due to previously mentioned poor construction the three other townhomes had significant leaking - one was so bad the entire place had to be renovated, but our home was completely dry thanks to the excellent work done a few weeks before by Distinctive Roofing. They have completely reversed the poor work done and we are so grateful not to have to worry about incoming storms.

There are so many fantastic things about Distinctive Roofing, I can’t name them all. You cannot go wrong hiring these guys! I spent so much time researching and meeting with different companies. These guys stood out with their recommendations and their price was excellent.

The roofing job was good. 5-star goes to that. Most of the crew members were professional and mannerly. However, some crew members that worked on the ground & on cleaning-up could be more careful. There are damages to the landscape and some messes were left. Lost some plants in the flower bed that got stepped on repeatedly.

After getting the shrug-off on my soffit/gutter repair from several Nashville companies including one that drove all the way out here and then never bothered to send their promised estimate (really?), dealing with Wes was a nice change of pace. He came by when he said he would, sent an estimate same day and had the work done within 48 hrs. And he didn't try to sell me a new roof. ATTENTION OTHER CONTRACTORS -- that's how you earn return business. Pricing seemed reasonable to me but, like I said, getting competing bids proved more difficult than it should have been so I didn't have anything to compare it to. Where do I start? My situation was somewhat different as I am out of state and own several rental properties in the Nashville area. After many phone calls and countless estimates by several other roofing companies (and being gouged due to my geographical location) I finally spoke with Wes at Distinctive. He gave me a not only honest, but fair price for a new roof to be put on one of my rental properties. The job was started ON time and completed ON time without fail. All of the workers were extremely professional and cleaned up after themselves upon completion of the product. Because I was not able to be in TN to see the final product Wes FaceTimed with me so that I could see that I was comfortable with the finished product. I thoroughly enjoyed working with this company.
