Distinctive Metal Roofing

I looked for a long time to find the right roofer. I finally settled on Distinctive Metal Roofing and I'm so glad that I did. I was kept up to date on everything and every single person I dealt with was an absolute professional. The roof and gutters are flawless. You will not find a better company for a metal roof!

I had a lot of roof to replace because of a huge attached garage plus a shed, which made this more like re-roofing two houses. Such a major project made the choice of a contractor critical. There are so many scam companies and less than conscientious contractors that I was diligent about researching potential candidates as well as the materials. After hours and hours of research I contacted DMR for an estimate. From my first contact with Bruce I felt comfortable. Everyone with this company seems to make communication a high priority. They’re knowledgeable about the products they’re offering and have keen eyes for spotting details that need to be addressed for the job at hand. Bruce came out for the estimate and was completely low pressure yet took all the time needed to answer questions and explain everything. He provided a list of previous customers so I could drive-by finished projects and see how the various options looked. Once I made the decision to commit to DMR and selected the style/color that I wanted, the project was scheduled quickly and then Gary took over as the point of contact. I can’t imagine how the process could have possibly gone more smoothly. Gary scheduled a time to come out and look at things himself. We agreed on areas for the dumpster and other items to be placed and went over when to expect things to arrive. He assessed the job with a critical eye looking for any possible problem areas and pointing out things I might want to consider. Everything he pointed out was spot on and nothing was suggested that wasn’t actually necessary or prudent. Each time a delivery was made I received a text in advance with a narrow time window. I was provided with “what to expect” information for when the work started and it was accurate. The crew arrived when expected and went straight to work. They were well organized and amazing to watch - like a well choreographed dance. Will and Mo were the go-to persons on site and everyone made sure to keep me in the loop about progress and any potential problems. I can’t think of a single thing to critique. After completing the process with DMR I have to join the crowd with 5 stars across the board. I’m completely happy with the experience and love the new roof. It’s gorgeous. Yes, it was a big investment and took me a little time to get comfortable with the expense, but this should be the last roof I have to install and I wanted it done right the first time. I believe I got that. One more thing that is actually pretty important from my perspective… as a female hiring any contractor I’ve found the experience similar to finding an auto mechanic. Often I have to deal with condescending attitudes and on more than a few occasions deliberately deceptive practices or attempts to overcharge. From my experience, the people at DMR were refreshingly honest and straightforward. Not once have I had to deal with any hint of those attitudes and for that reason alone I’d highly recommend them. Since their work is outstanding there’s no need to compromise workmanship in order to get that kind of basic respect. If you want a metal roof these are the folks to call.

I should have done this review two years ago. ... They are , hands down the absolute best metal roofing company around. They did a 34,000 sg. ft. standing seam roof using 24ga. metal. ( No one else I talked with would go that thick. Most other companies use 28ga, and is did find one that would go to 26ga) They also did some roof repair do to water damage, and put on new 6" wide gutters with a leaf filter system and all new soffit and fascia with attic ventilation. Their craftsmanship is top notch. They are extremely professional. They do what they say and say what they do. ...... Before I began getting quotes, I did my homework on metal roofs and metal roof products and Distinctive Metal uses top of the line products for reasonable prices. ..... I can not recommend these guys highly enough Hands down the best around. ...... Hey Guys, thanks for the cookies and the great drone pictures of our finished roof. You are the BEST!!!!!

Installed a Kasselwood Steel Shingle roof (New Cedar), gutters, soffit, and fascia. All of it done extremely well, and professionally at each step of the process. Would recommend them to anyone, and will use again in the future (although I hope to never need it!).

Distinctive Metal Roofing was excellent to work with. Communication, planning, installation, and all aspects our our experience were top quality and very professional. The workmanship is excellent and the end result is quite remarkable. If you're getting a metal roof, use these guys!

Bruce, Gary, and their crew were all truly fantastic to work with. The planning for our project was very well thought out, and despite unfavorable weather conditions, the crew was able to finish pretty quickly. They were all very considerate and respectful and left the grounds clean. I definitely recommend this company if you are going to go with a metal roof. We couldn't be happier with our new roof, it looks so great!

So far everything has been very professional.
Bruce has been very helpful with numerous questions. We feel the price of the project was fair and are awaiting for the job to start early November.
