Highly recommend this company! I recently had a wonderful experience considering how flustered I was with water coming into my home from my old skylights! Rob was highly attentive to me and the job, he and his crew got the job done beautifully and quickly. He called when he said he was going to call, he arrived when he said he was going to arrive. Always prompt and always on time! Rob was a pleasure to work with, kind and respectful and restored my skylights with beautiful Velux skylights, new trim, paint and all! We couldn't be more pleased. Rob and his team did an incredible job at a great price. My wife and I were in a bit of a panic when our already failing skylight started leaking during a recent storm. Rob came out as soon as I called him (on a Friday no less), had the estimate to me shortly after that, and was able to squeeze me into his schedule the following week for repairs. I highly recommend Discount Skylight for your skylight needs. They replaced a skylight for me and the entire experience was fantastic - quick to provide a quote, friendly to work with, great pricing, quick to install and they did a great job cleaning up before they left. It took 7 days total from when I first reached out for a quote to installation complete (it helped that my skylight was a standard size, not custom); this speed is unheard of these days. They checked every single box and I highly recommend.

Great company to do business with! We had two 20+ year old skylights with broken seals and a lot of water staining on the glass. Rob came out, took some measurements, and recommended replacing the glass and caps. The job was scheduled, and although there were some weather related delays for which he was very apologetic, Rob came out himself and had the job completed very quickly. It was obvious from watching him work that he's a highly experienced, skilled professional, who truly cares about quality work and customer service/satisfaction. I wish more companies took this approach.

Can't say enough about Rob and this company.
We had a sun tunnel that was installed before we moved in (different company) and upon our home inspection they thought it may be leaking.
It was a small job and probably not worth his time, but after my wife sent a picture to him, he came out to our place on a cold and snowy day, fixed the issue, cleaned it up and charged us a very minimal fee. He really didn't have to do it at all as he hadn't installed it, but we were so happy he did as the other company no longer exists. He fit us in very quickly and knew it would be a small job before even coming. Thanks so much, Rob! You're a class act.

AMAZING! We had 2 skylight windows replaced. We received 4 other quotes and discount skylight was the only one that would also do the interior (caulk and paint). They were by far the most knowledgeable. Rob was extremely courteous and professional. Would highly recommend!

Had to get 3 skylights replace due to age. After talking to Rob there was no need to contact anybody else. He's been in the skylight business for almost 30 years. He knows his stuff and can help you select what is best for your needs. He makes it easy to do business with him. We went with the solar skylights. THey have solar powered blinds in them. They can be controlled by remote and/or your phone. We only had fixed skylights before. Being able to open them and use the shades when it's sunny has been great. Brings a nice breeze in. There are also tax benefits going on right now for going solar. Highly recommend Rob and Discount Skylight and also going with the solar skylights!

Very impressive operation. Wanted my skylight repaired, Rob came out and after looking at the skylight advised it couldn’t be repaired, ( it was 25 yrs old ). Gave me quote for new window plus a lot of history about the window manufacture. He had a couple jobs before me and weather does play a factor as to when he can work. He and his team arrived yesterday, and I have to say what a smooth operation. They had the window installed in less time than he quoted me with very little disruption to my home. It did start a light rain but they kept working, cleaned up after they finished. A really impressive company who I would highly recommend.
After replacing my one of two skylights last year, my second skylight gave up this year. Called Rob and 4 days later his crew was here to replace the second. They were every bit as professional and friendly this time as they were last year. Once again if you have skylight problems, this is the company to call. They are the best!

Rob was very responsive to my request to come out to my place to check on an old leaky skylight. One week later I had had a new skylight installed. Pricing was fair and the installation was done very professionally. Tarps were used inside the house and everything outside was cleaned up, including blowing off the patio of anything that came off the roof while installing the unit (which was minimal). Setup of the solar shade was completed at time of installation and a thorough review of its operation was provided. Very pleased with the experience.

The Discount Skylight team took great care of me yesterday when they came to my home in Troy to replace 2 large skylights in my vaulted ceiling. When I first called the morning after experiencing a small flood due to ancient skylights in my living room, they showed up promptly that afternoon to assess the situation. Before even getting on the roof Rob was able to tell me the age, size and model of skylight I had installed already. His knowledge of these things is mind blowing. After the visit he sent me a very reasonable estimate to replace the 2 large skylights, once our schedules meshed he and his team showed up and replaced both skylights without issue in just a matter of a few hours. I have already referred them to a couple of friends and I will be having them come back in the near future to replace the other skylights in the house that are also a bit outdated and in danger of leaking soon! I wouldn't hesitate to give them a call and have them come inspect your project as well!
