From our first interaction with the team at DR we knew we were in good hands. They were very informative and kept us in the loop every step of the way. Richie was friendly and a great help. We highly recommend this team of workers. They did very good work in a timely manner.

Our home endend up with an $11,000 disaster leak in the second bathroom. Disaster was very prompt with initial response and communication throughout calling me everyday before showing up. End result turned out great and to top off wife was wanting a remodel anyway so blessing in disguise. So thanks again to Corys crew for being very professional and timely during this storm. We will be doing future work(hopefully not to soon). Thanks again for all your help and GOD BLESS!!!

From start to finish this company has been there for us when our house flooded recently. They have not only done an excellent job cleaning up and repairing the damage, they have communicated with us every step of the way, and helped us navigate working with our insurance company. Disaster Response addressed my broken pipe leakage instantly when the plummer called for their service to dry out the area that had been soaked. They had very positive additudes and comforted me, not to worry because they had the bases covered. Also their communications with me and the plummer was remarkable.

I went with this company based on the good Google reviews after a pipe burst in my home and it needed mitigation. I would recommend looking elsewhere if possible. They were quick to come out to my home initially but the good experience stopped there. The estimated completion date was delayed by weeks, no explanation given. It was a big job but there were some weeks where they only showed up 1-2 days for just a couple hours each day, dragging the process on far longer than necessary. The estimated total cost (given to me by the manager after looking at the notes and explaining to me what all had been done about 1 week before completion) ended up being double from the number given to me. According to him, they were 1 week away from completion and only had to return 1 additional time for a few hours to remove insulation from the crawl space but the price somehow doubled. This was covered in full by insurance but even the contractor I found for repairs said they were way too high for the work that was done. There was little to no communication throughout the mitigation process, I left multiple voicemails and emails with no response after about 3-4 weeks into the job with around 2 weeks of no contact. I repeatedly asked for a list of work being done or already completed throughout the process but never received one, even after I was told I would. It was clear they held little respect for me as a client or my time. The actual work/mitigation was done well, confirmed by my contractor but I would simply recommend finding a company that won’t drag the project on, practically ignore you, then charge you double after the fact.

I was in the middle of a home improvement project when one of the workers discovered mold when tearing out old carpet. The installer had to leave the project until the mold was removed. He gave me a DR business card and I called immediately. A DR representative was at my home by 9 am the next morning. I was impressed with the quick response. While waiting for an estimate of costs to be sent I called other mold removal companies as possible plan "B's", only to find out that some were out of business or could not look at the job for several days or weeks.Tom was assigned as my DR Project Manager and when he hand delivered the DR cost estimate we were able to arrive at, what I thought was, a fair and reasonable price. He promised to start the following Monday. Conner and Serg showed up at 8am and were out by 1 pm. I was very happy with DR and the final outcome. My floor project is now back on schedule.

Amazing crew! Great communication and great teamwork. They handle everything for you including communicating and advocating for you with your insurance agency. Highly recommend.

we had water leak and the guys were at our place within an hour. we had turned the water off before we called. we needed help getting the water off the floor. they were there for about 3 hours and made sure we had fans to dry the floors. don't know what we would have done without them. thanks Disaster Response

Disaster response crewmember showed up my house in a very timely manner. When I lost a waterline due to a bad pipe that got my belly pan, insulation wet, and soggy, he climbed in my small crawl space and cut insulation away till he found the leak, then cut the rest of the insulation that was water damaged I would recommend this company every time this company is very professional, and stand behind their work!!

When the carpet installer saw some dark stains on the wall and water stains on the carpet we stopped the installation. DR came over the next day and evaluated the areas. They were professional and did not try to make it a bigger deal than it was. The situation was taken care of and the carpet was then installed.

Water pipe broke. The crew was very prompt in starting cleanup. They were courteous, friendly and careful to complete each task. Great experience.

I called Disaster Response during a big storm with wind driven rain. They came and assessed the damages caused by the water. Unfortunately, our insurance company would not cover the services, so the technician that came out gave us recommendations on how we could mitigate the water damages ourselves. We followed their recommendations completely and with minor repairs, the building was fine. I would like to thank them for their recommendations, it kept us from having long-term damages and expensive repairs. I would definitely use them in the future.

Super company to do business with. They had my handicapped restroom restored to better than before with only half a day without service. If ever I need them I will call without hesitation.

We had pipes freeze on Christmas morning. One call ( I was In Florida, live in Idaho) and they were on the job. The one thing I appreciated the most was their communication. The staff was amazing and very professional.

Disaster Response was a life saver. We had water damage in our basement and the demo team worked with me get different parts of the demo done at different times. Once inside, the demo leader, Connor, was absolutely fantastic about communicating what was going on and what was next. Rochelle, in the administration office, also made sure that I was in the loop and took the time to help anyway that she could. I just can’t say enough…this is a fantastic company for how much they care about the customer. Thank you!

They worked on 2 houses I was selling and did a fantastic job. The were quick to show up and with their estimate. They were on the job within a couple days. They stuck to their estimate which was the best we received. I highly recommend Disaster Response.

The initial response was great, they arrived quickly and did all appropriate actions to minimize damage. No complaints at all.
The problem was in the reconstruction phase. The person in charge was not knowledge, had few leadership skills, keep repeating the same excuses all the time , took 6-8 weeks to develop a cost estimate(similar in complexity to one I later got from a professional floor installer in 2 days). The supervisor dealing with the insurance company where close to non existence and delayed the repair work by weeks. No problem with the people doing the work but what should have taken a week, at the most two weeks, took two months and I finally gave up and hired my own installer and got it done in a timely manner.

Had a basement flood on a very busy day with record breaking calls with the same issue. They walked me thru what to do while I waited to help mitigate damage them came out and gave me an estimate and even scanned all my rooms to make sure the moisture was all out since we decided to not do a repair right away. I would use them again in a heartbeat... But I sure hope I never have to.

After my sewage line was replaced the Disaster Response Team came in and made a proper assessment of damages in my home. Then they sent out the crews to repair my bathroom floor and joists in the bathroom. It was done so well I would recommend them to anyone that is in need of this.

I called for water/sewage removal in a crawlspace. They were very quick to get an inspector to my house to check out the situation and let me know what needed to be done. Andrew came to my house and told me exactly what would need to happen and gave me a exact timeframe of how long it would take. He was professional, friendly and made me feel comfortable with the entire process. 10/10 would definitely recommend!

An ice dam on a portion of the roof resulted in a leak into the master bedroom. The initial response was helpful, but the removal of the ice dam took an unreasonable amount of time due to the companies equipment being down for repairs. The company charged $1500 to remove snow and ice from a small section of the roof and over $2000 for structural repairs. After a month of being without the use of the master bedroom, I had to hire a handyman to complete the repairs on the interior of the house.

Refreshing to have someone on call that actually answers the call. Not always the case with other businesses here in the Canyon. When you have an emergency, Disaster Response is your go to company!

The employees were very professional and clean. The work performed was very good. The repairs took extremely to long to complete. The communication between myself and your office on scheduling was not very good. We were left in disarray too long.

Office very friendly and responds quickly. Also Tom and his crew are on time and respond quickly. On the repair side they were a few months out so had to go with a local construction business to do final trim installation and painting.

From beginning to end, Disaster Response was responsive, thoughtful, thorough and effective. Tom was an amazing project manager and all of the crew was great! They managed to remediate a pretty bad sewage flood during the holidays and with minimum disruption to us. They also worked well with my insurance agent, and helped connect me to some quality contractors who helped me with the remodel services I needed. I highly recommend this awesome company! I can’t say enough good things!

I had a tenant with a fairly significant flooding problem late one Saturday Evening. DR was able to get out within a couple hours to assist with the clean up. The initial response was amazing. They were quick to come out and clean up the surface water. They got to work the next work week on the demo of the water damage.
It was originally communicated to my tenant and myself that everything (including the repair) would be complete within a few weeks. We learned a few weeks later, it was going to take much longer. This is obviously to be expected, we were just disappointed the communication was not clear or consistent. I voiced my concerns about the communication consistency, and the team was much better about making sure I was 100% clear on what was happening.
The whole process is split into two phases, handled by different teams and are submitted through insurance at different times. The repair estimates were high, but quick to submit to insurance, which I appreciated very much. The mitigation quote was not provided until a week or two after all the repairs were completed. My insurance team was fairly quick, so they continued to follow up to get the mitigation cost from DR. It was just odd that the mitigation that was completed months prior, took longer than the repair estimate to submit.
Finally, it was initially communicated to me that insurance typically does not cover toilet replacement. Since this was the culprit of the flooding, I asked for them to replace the toilet (more than once) and I would pay out of pocket for it. The toilet was not replaced. When I asked about it, after the repair were done and my tenant notified me the same toilet was installed, the response from DR was "Oh, you didn't have a plumber come out to check it?" Which was extremely frustrating since I asked for them to replace the toilet and they never told me that I need to have a plumber come out even after all the mitigation and repair.

Excellent service, and great performance they were very easy to work with and made sure the job was done right.

I've had the misfortune of having worked with Disaster Response on two occasions. I say it like that because it was following first, an entire septic system failure (Dec 2019) in a rental home that I own and second, an electrical panel fire (Feb 2021) in the same home. Disaster Response came recommended by a long time friend who is a tradesman. His opinion of others others is highly valued by me. He couldn't have been more spot on! Disaster Response spared me my sanity and were no we're nothing short of amazing during both of the projects at my home. I cannot thank them enough and will always give them a glowing recommendation for what they did for me and the residents of my home.

Disaster Services made the cleanup and repairs of our water damage seamless and easy. They handled everything from the insurance to mitigation to repairs to overseeing all the various contractors. They communicated on a regular basis and kept us up to date on the timeline and repair status. Very pleased with their services and the final results!

The crew worked so hard to get the water damage cleaned up. It is a big mess. They have had to do the most physical hard work in a stinky smelly situation. But they really know what to do. Very courteous and professional. Thomas figured out right away I am a “neat Nick”. They were respectful of me and my “stuff”. They tented everything off from the non damage area to help keep the dust and smell down.

Today the last of the drying equipment was removed and by Monday I get to meet with the reconstruction person (Robert).

For a truly horrible experience, I have complete confidence in this company. I will review again when my place is put back together. I do recommend this company.

When the water line broke at the base of the foundation of our house, Disaster Response responded very quickly and was able to pump the water from under the house before it rose to the floor joist. Very much appreciated and very professional staff with which to work.

Excellent is the best word to describe Disaster Response and their crew. They came out after we had water damage and did a thorough job. Instead of just drying out as another company was planning on doing, they went in and took out the damage, allowed time for it to all dry, then replaced the sheet rock and painted the entire wall. Mike and Tyler were great, they both were always available to answer any of my questions and concerns. I don't remember the name of the gentleman who did the work, but he was also top notch. I would highly recommend Disaster Response.

Update! We found some moisture and mold when we were pulling up the bathroom floor and decided to give Disaster Response a call for peace of mind. Surprise! The leak we found under the kitchen sink was just that. We worked our way down the list getting quotes and suggestions for repairs. Todd showed up at a time that I selected, sprayed a solution (before we even had a bid just because he is amazing) and offered to use a very conservative approach.
The day the work was done, I received photos via text and a message that he would hold for my reply to continue. Did I mention that I also received a Merry Christmas text, a Happy New year text and he checked in a few weeks later? He stopped by to make sure that all was well! We worked with 2 companies for this issue and Disaster Response holds the fastest response time and the best customer service at the best price!
