I was pricing Western Red Cedar Shingles to side an addition I was building. I needed to match the existing siding on the original house. Direct Cedar showed up on my search. I contacted them and within a few hours I had pricing and all of the information I requested. The sales staff couldn’t be more helpful. They tracked my delivery for me and informed me of a trucking error that was quickly corrected. The shingles arrived in one week (northeast coast USA). They were from a very reputable sawmill in BC. Bottom line, if you want a knowledgeable and professional buying experience you can’t go wrong with Direct Cedar. The pricing and quality are excellent!

I researched online for a specified cedar shake for my personal home in NW Florida. I talked with Paul Wilson at Direct Cedar and found him to be knowledgeable and helpful. I am sold on cedar for its ability to dispel mould which is prevalent in Florida climates and cedar loves quality paint. Longevity, durability and mould resistent, I will use direct cedar again.

I'm in Victoria, BC, and was having a heck of a time locally sourcing 16" cedar shingles to match the ones on my 100+ year old house. I have ordered a few siding jobs through Direct Cedar and have had no issues. They are very responsive and the product they sell is very good. Paul is super easy to work with, and all around I would highly recommend them.
