DINVERNO REMODELING AND CONSTRUCTION INC

Everything was done in a Professional manner. I have absolutely no complaints. DIVERNO installed a new driveway. They arrived with tools and machines at 6AM. They also had plenty of helpers. Day 1 stripped the old drive out, day 2 laid new driveway. The following week they returned to spray it... organized!

Hired this company to do a four seasons room. They did an excellent job from start to finish. Everything was promised as they stated in their quote. They finished the room earlier than expected. They even had some hangups with the city to get permitting, however, they handled that with ease. They recommended specific windows and really push for the high ceiling. I am glad they did. I highly recommend them.

I recently hired Dinverno for a complete exterior remodel of my home, and I couldn't be happier with the results. New roofing, siding, trim, gutters, windows, doors, added roof overhangs, and 2 dormers. I am just blown away by the craftsmanship and attention to detail, and have gotten so many compliments from friends and neighbors.

Josh was amazing to work with throughout the entire process, collaborating to turn my self-drawn plans into my dream home. The level of professionalism from the office staff, to the crew working on my house was top notch; they worked cleanly, safely, and delivered incredible results. When it came time to close out the job there were no change orders, and they immediately came back to knock out the few nitpicky punch-list items I had. Incredible!

I talked to a lot of builders before signing on with Dinverno for this project, and it was the best decision I've made. Companies like Dinverno keep the bar high for everything a builder should be, thank you again for a wonderful experience, I look forward to working with you on my next project!!

We went with this company based on the fact that they promised us the job would be completed in one day. We needed our roof and the soffits around the roof that is on our back porch-attached to the house- replaced. We got estimates from 3 other companies but, decided to go with Dinverno due to the fact that they said all work would be completed on the same day! It wasn’t done. They only replaced the roof in one day. We had to contact them the following day to find out why. Well, we found out we were lied to about the timeframe. And, told the soffit will be done sometime the next week! When I said, the main reason we chose them was the promise that all work would be completed in the same day, and that I wasn’t going to pay them in full because of the deception, I was threatened with a lien on my home!! They have defended their lie by saying it wasn’t in the contract. So, clearly, they have no problem with their sales people saying anything, including lying REPEATEDLY! I was told they were not responsible for verbal agreements. Being lied to is bad enough but, they were the highest price estimate of all four companies. The other companies we had talked to did NOT lie about the job being finished in one day! I have nothing to say about the quality of work done, as it’s brand new..time will tell. I do not recommend this company.

They don't even deserve 1 star the most crappy work I ever seen been 3 year and they stull haven't come out and fix the.crap work they please do not used these guys they damaged stuff and did not give a crap about what they did charge more than any one else and finance was ripping me off as well I paid double payments ad my bill barely moved WTH

Very satisfied with our new porch and walkway from Dinverno! We needed to replace our porch on our midcentury home. Drainage/gutter problems on the porch roof had eroded the brick and mortar on the front and side of the porch, as well as the steps and sidewalks, leading to water in our basement and hazardous conditions for anyone entering our home. Ben and Jacob helped us realize our vision for a new porch and sidewalk. Each of the contracters who came out to do work were quick and professional. There were some manufacturing delays with the porch railings, but that was well communicated. Once the railings did come in, there were some errors/miscommunications on what we had wanted vs. what was ordered/installed, but again, it was quickly remedied. The result is beyond what we expected, and we can't wait to have them start our patio!

Great experience with Dinverno! They installed new gutters and gutter guards. Very professional and followed up each step of the way. I would highly recommend using their services!

I had this company to build a two car garage at my home. They refuse to come back to correct major issues at my property. First, the down sprout is hanging across the sidewalk preventing you to walk without having to jump over it or walk on the grass. Next, the door was installed incorrect which bumps into the house door when trying to exit from inside the house. Lastly, the same door in the garage is so high off the deck that you have to climb up high or jump down to get into the garage from the patio deck. When trying to contact Josh, he never return my calls or come back to finish the unsafe issues. I paid $42,000.00 for this project and he refuses to come back for the balance of $430.00 because it is nothing when you have the bulk of the funds. It is terrible to have companies not be responsible or care about your safety or property.

We had Dinverno do a fairly large project in a bedroom, bathroom and walk-in closet involving tile flooring, new tile shower, vinyl plank flooring, baseboard molding, new light fixtures, and painting & drywall repairs.
The entire project was completed professionally, on-time, and with genuine high quality workmanship.
Each worker had the experience & skills needed for the different portions of the project and they were all very personable and courteous.
Jacob, the overall project manager made a point of talking to me at the end of each day to review what had been completed that day & to let me know the plan for the following day.
We really couldn’t be more satisfied with Dinverno. They will most certainly be our choice for any of our future home improvements.

Update: the so-called owner phoned to apologize; and to share that the person who came to our home was fired. You can read the below 'owner response'....this was obviously an out-right lie. Again, this place is sketchy and deceptive. We talked to someone else who had a similar scary experience.

A young man came to my home to provide a brick paver estimate on Jan. 22nd. There was confusion about him banging on our glass doors, and blocking 2 cars in our driveway. There was no need to continue the encounter so I asked him to leave. The following day, he called mysteriously - initially refusing to identify himself - and explaining the situation while sharing how wealthy he is; and that he doesn't really need our business or to work. The entire visit on Jan. 22nd, and follow-up conversation was creepy, stalker-like and the most unprofessional and inappropriate experience imaginable.

Based on this and other reviews that you can read below and on other sites, be very careful with this company. There is something very alarmingly wrong here....If we hear from them again, we will engage law enforcement because we recorded the encounters.

I’ve noticed anytime one of these companies like dinverno gives out a free estimate and they show up with a digital pad it’s going to be high the guy comes out for our estimate on redoing a patio guy is super cool very professional but the price to redo our patio that’s already wood was ridiculous the guy gave me and my fiancée a estimate of 50k are you serious I had to ask him when ha say in the car when he first pulled up did he research the price we paid for the house 50k for a patio the patio doesn’t even have 5k in wood it’s not that big then he calls oh we can do a simple cement no stamp of nothing just cement for 13 k I’ll never call this place again place is ridiculous with pricing we called another place got a quote at 9 k including tear down etc

I am writing this review to express my disappointment in Diverno(Josh the Project Manager) following up on my request for necessary paper work to complete my insurance company request. The company has been paid in full for their work, which was completed in November, 2023, but their follow-up on my requests is very disappointing. I am still waiting and it is now January 11,2024, and I am still waiting for a response.

I came back to write another review, because I was asked by Dinverno Co. to remove my "bad review" and they said they would remove money off my bill (which they didn't). It was the original the quote they gave us when they were supposed to do more work.

We just found out from Sherwin Williams they used WALL PAINT on our cabinets. There are stains all over them and we can't get it out!!!!

The whole experience was terrible!!! I wish I can put my old review up. Our cabinets are still falling off the hinges. Flooring took a month to install and we were told the flooring was scratch proof!!!! WRONG!!!

The owners are rude and they came to my house to BULLY me to remove my review!!

I had an entire driveway redone. The price was reasonable and the service was great! The team did an amazing job! I would definitely recommend to my family and friends.

Once the job got started everything went quickly and I like the results. When I am ready to do more I will keep DInverno Remodeling in mine.

We hired Dinverno to demolish our old garage and build a new one. We are more than pleased with the experience and the result. The old garage and cement pad was demolished and the debris disposed of promptly and cleanly. The cement guys were great and very professional and detail oriented--they integrated the new concrete with the existing patio pavers. The construction was completed in a matter of days, also very professionally. Whenever we had questions or concerns Josh Dinverno promptly returned our calls and/or came over to personally inspect. Dinverno also obtained the required permits and arranged for the city inspections. The entire process, from the initial quote from Josh Cloutier to the final completion and city inspection was like clockwork. We would be happy to hire them again for any project.

Great guys. They came as scheduled, did a very good job! Cleaned everything up, my steps look great and improved the appearance of my house. I would definitely call them again for any upcoming projects. Thank you guys again.

Kyle was one of the best sales people that we’ve ever had. He helped us determine exactly what we need for our home and when they came and did the work - it was outstanding. I couldn’t be more impressed. We are definitely gonna come back to Dinverno for our next work

I had an estmate written 6-7-23. The workers arrived on time and worked diligently the 1st day on the 2nd day the work was completed. They replaced 2 garage doors with wider ones, replaced
siding and made adjustments to my openings. they cleaned up the area and carted away all debris. My home has a different look. all this was done by 6-16-23. thank you josh for such a good experience and work crew with your company!

I had an entire driveway and a garage pad poured and it was great! It looks professionally done and appealing to the eyes. The 2nd big project was the new garage construction. The garage looks amazing as well! Everyone I worked with was extremely pleasant, informative, and treated me like I was part of the family! Really disliked the high pressure sales tactics that were being used on us. I thought a knowledgeable contractor would be coming out, instead it was a sales person that was pressuring us to sign that night and said it was unheard of to get other quotes and take time to think about if we wanted to move forward with their quotes. It was a weird experience and left me feeling uncomfortable.

Worst experience ever: they did badly our tile, molding, door, steam shower. It all fell apart in the next 2 years, we are re-doing a bad job now. Also, the price ended up being much higher than they quoted first. The guy from Ukraine who did our steam bath faucets did it all wrong

Josh very professional…the guy who did the work..awesome job. Was told wouldn’t be done til the end of August….they did the job in 3weeks…so happy with finished room. Most definitely will recommend to anybody work done to their house….once again thank you Diverno….great job, very satisfied

My experience with this company was terrible. I felt like they were condescending and sarcastic when issues came up. They left broken glass on the ground, even after coming back to clean it up after I complained.

They did not seem to pay attention to detail. The sales guy was friendly but the experiences after that were terrible for us.

I would never use this company again, even if they were the only ones available. I cannot emphasize enough that the customer service when there were issues was horrifying.

Eventually, they canceled our contract after installing the basement windows. We did not request this. They refunded our deposit less the cost of the basement windows. Although I was initially frustrated because of the wait time for windows last year, it was a blessing. We ended up installing Weatherguard windows. They were more expensive but our experience with their customer service was night and day different.

So, in my opinion, I would recommend using another company. Their reviews on here look decent. Check out Yelp. I am by far not the only client that they treated poorly.

This is actually my second time using the Company. Work is always flawless & timely. I have referred your company to several other family members whom have had wonderful work done.

Looking to do a new build near downtown Detroit. Contacted this company to come out and quote me on a new build. I was hesitant because of other reviews, but nonetheless still scheduled an initial appointment. A sales rep - Zach - came out to the property. During the meeting - he informed me that they could do a custom build and we went over details of what I’d want for the home as it’s an investment property. Zach stated that he needed a few days to get some pricing together, but that they would be able to begin a new build once the weather breaks in late March or early April. The appointment was on Monday and today is Thursday - no word. I contacted the company and spoke with a man named Josh (?) - who told me that they don’t specialize in new build construction and that “that’s a whole different ball game”. He stated that he saw my plans for my house and that he would get back with me. Not telling me when - so I had to ask. He said I’ll call Zach - the sales rep and call you back today. Well he did call me back about 20 min later. He stated - “we aren’t interested in doing your project”. I did inform them I would be leaving a review mainly because they wasted my time and communication was poor. If they don’t specialize in new construction they could have said that before I made an appointment to have a sales rep come out - who also wasted my time telling me they do custom new construction builds. The negative reviews I read seem to hold weight after all. Btw - I was paying out of pocket for the new build and not financing. 0 stars.

Dinverno is a 5-star company. They were very professional, and cleaned up everything perfectly after. We are so pleased with our new roof! We will definitely use them in the future for more remodeling. We would recommend them to everyone!!

Unprofessional, I called for an estimate and was told I’d get a call back on the behalf of my out of state client. I never did, so I chose to follow up only to hear that they couldn’t help me because the owner of the home didn’t call in. A lot of property owners have agents and property management groups that literally appoints agents to speak In Regards to the property on their behalf and to handle their business. It would have been nice to have been told that before going into details about the home and our expectations. It would have even been nice to get a call back. So I’ll save everyone else the trouble. Go to a company that returns your calls, and are up front with their policies so that you don’t waste you time.

Thanks to dinverno remodeling and help from Josh, I got my patio done fast and for a good deal! Would highly recommend dinverno remodeling and Josh for my future home remodeling endeavors.

I was referred to Dinverno Construction and Remodeling by one of my neighbors who was really pleased with the work they had done on her home. We were given a free estimate, and a few different options for the project we had in mind. We didn’t feel pressured to make a quick decision or to spend more money than our budget allowed. My husband and I are thankful for the referral, we now have the three seasons room we envisioned, it’s beautiful. I definitely recommend this company.

Dinverno remodeling and construction holds a really high rating in my family. They extended the concrete on my brother in laws driveway(to make it fit two cars side by side) and did a phenomenal job, so I proceeded to schedule an estimate to turn my sun room into a bedroom. The sales rep that came out and gave the estimate was so vibrant with energy and the ladies who work in the office called and confirmed with me every step of the process. If I could give this company more than 5 stars I truly would.

After a recent storm a tree fell on my shed and I’ve been trying to find someone to tear it down and rebuild it… Perfect timing for a Dinverno truck to be next to my car in the Lowes parking lot! And the job only took weeks, not months like the other company we had worked with previously. We were able to apply a number of discounts and applied for 18-month 0% int-free financing, which is much appreciated. Best of all, we now have a leak-free garage with working doors!
