Good guys working there and some are really knowledgeable. They helped me a lot w my project. They deliver to your place and have reasonable prices and courteous drivers. . They deserve 5 stars! Ty !

I saw the earlier revise about Dettingers being helpful in DIY projects and I went to go there during this pandemic because I needed a piece of plywood for an emergency repair. I was thinking I'd support local business and be able to get in and out easily.

When I walked in, there were 4 men sitting there talking. I asked for a sheet of plywood and asked if I could get it cut. It would be two simple cuts to make it the size I needed.

The man laughed and said "yeah we don't do that." I walked out to go to the big box store where I got it done, quick and easy, no problem.

No one else was at Dettingers. It wasn't packed with customers. I was the only person in the store that was going to buy something and they were not at all interested in being helpful or a good "local" company.

I'll shop big box for the rest of my home renovation and upcoming barn renovation as well. The big box employs local workers and they are a large corporate business that pours money back into the community.

You know what else they do? They have this thing called customer service. Don't go to Dettingers where 4 guys can't even stand up to help the only customer in the store just because you want to support "local" businesses. The big box was far more interested in helping me make my emergency repair much more manageable.

As a woman who has been working on DIY projects for the past 3 decades, I have appreciated the helpfulness, patience, and consideration of their staff. This is on top of carrying superior products. Thank you.
