I engaged Metke to do a total renovation of my primary bath and closet, refresh the primary bedroom and hall bath, refinish hardwood floors and install new carpeting. I am extremely happy and satisfied with the work that was performed and the design services they provided. Everything turned out lovely and I am especially enjoying my new bathroom and closet! The staff I worked with (Curtis, Zoe and Ryan) were very professional and customer oriented and worked to minimize disruption to me. The project manager, Curtis, did a great job managing subcontractors and communication with me was top notch throughout the process. The project was completed within the original timeline and budget (actually a little ahead of schedule). I would not hesitate to use their services again and to recommend them to anyone who is considering remodeling projects.

Metke did an amazing job turning my home addition plans into reality. I designed an 830 square foot addition including a bar, billiards room, gym, bathroom, hot tub deck, and primary deck with an outdoor kitchen. The construction process took about 6 months, and every little detail was perfect! Metke coordinated all the subcontractor schedules, material deliveries, inspections, and cleanup. It was a very smooth process and very little stress. On top of that, their entire team was friendly and easy to work with. I would highly recommend them if you’re planning a remodel project, and will definitely use them again for any future construction.

METKE was an incredible remodeling company to work with. They have an amazing communication tool that was updated daily by their Project Manager, Shane, including photos of the progress. We always knew what was happening with our remodel and that made working with them so smooth. They are professional, detailed, patient, do their very best to meet deadlines, considerate, and honest. If any problems arose, they immediately worked to resolve the problem.
We loved working with their design team, office staff, subs, and contractors. Their design team was especially helpful in guiding me to create, design, and choose the fixtures, tile, flooring, hardware, etc that we needed. They even met with me at the various showrooms to help me choose what I wanted. They have a timeline that details when windows, doors, tile, faucets, door knobs, handles, etc., needed to be ordered to make their deadline. This was a tremendous help in planning.

Metke did a major remodel on our home. We could not be happier with the quality work they did throughout the house. On top of that they and their vendors have promptly taken care of any warranty issues that have come up. They are a solid company.

If you want to do any home remodeling, Metke is the place to come. We did a kitchen/connecting family room remodel using Metke. We couldn't be happier with the results. We had heard lots of good things about Metke before we approached them, and they really proved themselves in the process.
Design: Karen and Jenny are really experienced and they are very responsive with our inquiries. They understood what we envisioned for the kitchen and provided great recommendations with the style, materials, layout, and etc. They gave us the cost estimates along the way so we were conscious about the budget. The kitchen layout turns out to be really functional and looks better than what I had imagined.
Project Management: Ryan was great! He was our project manager who was on site pretty much every day to supervise all the contractors. He was really responsive with all communication. His attention to details was the most appreciative part from us. We stayed in the house during the remodel, so we would check the progress and job quality daily, but most of the times he beat us to it. He would notice the small flaws and he definitely had higher standards to the supervised contractors compared to us. We didn't have to worry about anything. Gradually, he had our 100% trust in terms of quality check and progress tracking. Additionally, every day (yes every day) after the work is finished, the Metke team would clean up the job site (including the driveway outside) thoroughly. I was impressed with the discipline.
Quality: Our goal was to build our dream luxury kitchen that could last years to come. Metke really delivered. We spent quite a lot on this kitchen remodel. Now when we start using the cabinets, the countertops, the details of the hardware, the tile work, and everything else in the kitchen, we definitely could tell that this is worth it. Metke definitely used the best contractors in the market for the projects. Kitchen and the connecting family room are our favorite spots in the house now. I told my husband the other day that I love the kitchen so much I want to sleep there too, lol.
There was a little hiccup regarding the invoice of our customized range hood. Jeff (owner of Metke) was understanding, considerate and neutral. He tried to understand the facts from all parties involved and had multiple discussions with us and his team. We came to a resolution at the end peacefully and we really appreciated his efforts on all of this.
Overall, we were really satisfied with Metke's work. They are not the cheapest in the market, but their design and quality work really showcase the value. When we do another project in the future, we would definitely go with Metke again.

Metke remodeling is a great company. Starting a remodeling project with all the horror stories about supply chain issues was a bit stressful. We did have to get our orders in well ahead of the project to allow for deliveries, but we were pleasantly surprised by how smoothly our project ran. During the project, some new questions/ideas emerged. These were all handled very quickly and efficiently. Metke provided a link to a construction app with our project specifications, financials, construction timeline and easy text communication. Curtis was our project manager and made the whole process run smoothly! :). My husband and I were able to spend a great deal of time on vacation away from home with confidence that the remodel was being well managed. We are very pleased with the finished look of our project and would recommend Metke to others.

The Metke team remodeled our primary bathroom, coming through on time and under budget. They had great communication and quickly responded to our questions. The quality of work in the bathroom is beautiful. During construction they kept our house clean and protected from the dust and debris. If remodels are tough, remodels during Covid are excruciating. However, our experience with the Metke Team during our remodel was top notch. We had an easy way to communicate, regular meetings, and weekly status updates. Although the project was subject to unexpected delays, we were in constant contact and expectations were set and adjusted accordingly. The final product was of the highest quality, our home is beautiful, and the few remaining warranty items are being addressed. From understanding our vision to delivering on their commitments, we had an exceptional experience with Metke.

Metke has been absolutely great to work with! They helped us take on a large project of completely renovating two floors of our home. We really appreciated how upfront they were from the beginning setting expectations. Even with COVID guideline changes and supply chain issues they kept us in the loop, stayed on budget, and finished within the estimated timeframe. What a great experience!! Working with Teresa Metke and her team was a real joy!! Her team was on time and under budget!!! I recently had her choose and order lighting for a new home we are building outside the Pacific Northwest!! They never even saw the home in person and still selected and ordered the perfect lighting package for the project. The lighting completes the space exactly how I dreamed it would be! I would highly recommend Metke Remodeling for all of your remodel projects!!!

Deciding on a builder is a very difficult decision. I studied electrical engineering, so my nature is to be very analytical about important decisions. I am also a business major, so I can be demanding on ensuring a clear return on our investments. I also spent many years at Intel, so I can be a bit intense and very direct. Hence, we needed to find a builder that could meet my expectations and still enjoy being around me in the end :). I was so focused on who we should choose for a builder, I under estimated the value of an interior designer. Both people are absolutely critical when taking on any type of home project, especially a major home remodel like we were doing. One mistake on design will absolutely pay for the designer…trust me :).

Our decision to go with the Metkes was based on both Jeff’s meticulous attention to detail, his creative mind and incredible reputation. Equally as important was our decision to go with Teresa as our designer. We loved her personal taste and style but, more importantly, she is very driven which fits my personality. I have very little time outside of work, so having the Metke team was super-efficient in making sure the builder and designer were always on the same page. They were around each other nearly 24 hours a day which eliminated any drop in communication. Finally, the best part about working with the Metkes was accountability. Jeff and Teresa were always “customer focused and customer first”, ensuring that if it was not done right, they would fix it…period. In the end, I could not be more happy with our decision to partner with the Metkes. The house turned out amazing and the quality of the craftsmanship is first class. I highly recommend the Metkes and would absolutely recommend you bring on Jeff and Teresa as a team.

If I ever need to do another remodel, the Metkes are the only builder and designer team I would want to do the work. On a final note, seldom do you hear that you are better friends with your builder after the project is done than before you started. In our case that is absolutely true. If you want to know what it could be like, I recommend you read the book by Tracy Kidder called The Builder :).

The Metke Company is exceptional! We did a whole house remodel and comfortably live in the house during the entire project, without any complications. They even moved our dishwasher into the garage so we could still use it while our kitchen was being remodeled! They will be the only remodeling company we use!
