UPDATE: Added an invoice, proving this is the right business and I have proof of payment. And they have yet to change the reply. No accountability.
Worst experience I have ever had. I had them attempt to do a lot of work around my new place and they did not finish any of the work...it's been months of going back and forth and I finally gave up after giving the owner $2,000 dollars and the handyman who worked for the owner an extra $1,000.
So, I wanted some simple painting, patch work fixed that the previous owner did poorly, a plug moved and that was it. My place is a whopping 1,100 square feet. They quoted me $2,000 for the whole thing. All the paint/labor/etc. included. They said it would take one full/long day to finish, said they would send a big team to knock it out. The next morning showed up with three guys and one was gone the entire day, he only told the other guys what to do.
They were nowhere close to being done, not one task had been completed, just a couple areas had been started. The end of the day, the boss texted me demanding that I pay half of the cost upfront when we agreed to a 10% deposit. This was not the case for him due to him saying that they completed half the work. I told him that half of the work was not complete and I would FaceTime him to show him all of the "work" that had been completed. After that, he said the job is bigger than he thought...after he was the one who did the walkthrough. I told him that is not my problem, but I will pay him $200 and if they finished half the work the next day they were available only then I would pay more. He agreed.
Next time they came, they sent two guys...only one guy stayed the entire time while the other one "went to Home Depot" that was 15 mins away...and came back at the end of the day with a paint can....that was the wrong color. ..when on the first day I gave all the paint tiles for the colors to the boss and had sample paint at the house. They said they would have to come back again. The boss again, reached out for payment and asked for more money. I said I am not spending more money when still, half of the work is not even complete. He was frustrated and called the workers. The workers explained to him that he needed more time and that he should be getting paid by his boss more money to finish the job. He told me that his boss is a cheap skate and always tells people it will cost a lot and pay him not even a third of the job price. Then the boss called me and demanded more money or he was not going to continue the job since he is losing money, I said okay, I cannot afford to pay you more. So, he hung up and called the worker and told him to leave and don't worry about anything...how do I know, the worker put it on speaker phone.
The worker leveled with me and said he is sorry for his boss and said he would complete the job if I just paid him $1,000...on top of the money I paid his boss that I wasn't getting back. So, I said if he could finish half the work the next day he comes, I will pay him half and then the other half when it's finished.
He came a couple days later and dropped off two guys and started working on everything. They finished half of the work and then I get a call from Home Depot asking me to pay for paint. I said I am not paying for paint, I should be buying a door for the job (I added putting a door in, included in the extra $1000). Then I told Home Depot I would call the worker. The tells me supplies were not included and what's an extra $60? I told him this whole process has been a hassle and I am not paying anymore money and he said okay, we can figure it out.
Now, with no warning, the workers packed up and left after a call with their boss...they simply left and didn't clean anything. They left paint spots on the ground, plastic, the furniture was all rearranged...the house was a mess. I tried called the worker....no answer...tried texting...nothing.
Worst company I have dealt with. Went ahead and did the work and had Lowes put my door in, no issues.
