Avoid this company at all costs. We moved in to a house that they had done work on. After the recent heavy rain, we discovered a leak. We reached out to see the scope of work they had done on the roof, and were told they don’t keep files in the office, and that they files need to be requested. I called three times only to be told they hadn’t received the files and he has to follow the process, before I asked for a manager to call me back. Instead of him calling me, I had to call back a fourth time, at which time he said they did virtually no work on that side of the roof, and that the contract was between the original owner and architect. When I originally called, he did not know if the leak was on the side they did work on. He never offered to share with me what work they did do on that side of the house, and couldn’t seem to understand why I was frustrated, and just said “there’s been a lot of rain”. There was no apology for the delay, no offer to come out and check the roof so they could get my business, and certainly no offer to explain the work that was done on that side of the roof. It basically was “that’s not our problem”.

It is obvious that they don’t care about their reputation and providing good customer service, and in my response to my frustration, said “why don’t you find another roofer”.

I highly recommend DBS roofing for anyone looking for roofing projects! It is hard for me to express my thanks and gratitude into words but I hope you know how much I appreciate everyone at DBS roofing and especially the project manager, Miguel Dubon. They were very prompt and the price was the most reasonable among other competitors. My roofing project was finished in a timely manner and I am very satisfied with the end result. Mr. Dubon went above and beyond and also dealt with my home insurance problem.

On time every day!
Jose and Buster worked with us on an estimate and what we needed and I couldn't be happier. Respectful, polite and honest workers. We now think of Leo and Angle Sosa as friends!
Minimized any damage to plants and good job cleaning up afterwards.
Took their time and did the job RIGHT! House is sealed and hope to have 35yrs on the flat roofs and 75 years on the metal w/o repair!
Value for the cost... yes using metal is more but it's now done for my lifetime.
Thank you! Highly recommend.

They went above and beyond!!! I couldn't get a roof repairman out to fix a leak in my roof. We played phone tag through out the day and by the time he reached me it was 5 pm. I explained to him that my roof had a leak and the drywall ceiling in one of the bedrooms had collapsed. He asked me where I lived and after I told him he said I'm on my way home but its on my way I will stop and take a look. He immediately knew the problem after seeing missing shingles. He said he would be certain after taking a look. He was right, he and his brother fixed it immediately. I am so grateful! I enthusiastically recommend DBS Ruffing. They are prompt, professional and friendly. You won't be disappointed.

My neighbor used this company to have her roof completed. The workers put roofing supplies on my lawn the night before and debris from the roof repair. Despite calling twice to ensure the debris strewn all over my lawn and back patio, my back patio was left a mess of shingles, nails, staples ,packaginga their used water bottles to clean up. This is very unprofessional, especially after I called and was assured they would take care of it. I will be replacing my roof this year but wouldn't use a company that has no respect for my neighbors.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
