DaVinci Contracting

This is the second time we have used Davinci. Gerald easily explained the process and the roof was actually installed ahead of schedule. DaVinci provided an excellent product and service. The added bonus was the clean up after installation was excellent.

From the project manager to the roofers everyone was so kind and worked very hard. The project manager answered all of my questions and was a man of his word.

This company is the Bomb!!! The owner Joseph Darby is very professional as well as personable. Joe and his team really do go the extra mile to ensure customer satisfaction. This company and its owner, Joe Darby, are excellent to work with. We did a roof around 5 years ago. The work was quick, quality was excellent and the price was reasonable. When we remodeled our master bath about 3 years later I noticed a leak coming through the ceiling. I communicated with Joe immediately and he always took my call but it was winter so there wasn't much he could do. I kept on him and he never disappeared, always took my calls and even personally drove up (2.5 hours) to our house last year to look at it himself. He couldn't see anything wrong with the roof and did some sealing work that day. We agreed that we would keep an eye on it and stay in touch. The ceiling kept dripping and I could feel the insulation above was wet. I spoke to Joe a couple weeks ago and he agreed that as soon as it warmed up, he would have his guys come and tear the roof off and replace it at no cost. Its 20 degrees out today yet the ceiling was dripping so I started to think about it. I had a trusted contractor that we work with come over and look. I was correct that the exhaust fan was not vented properly and therefore was blowing steam from the bathroom onto the insulation and causing the issue. I called Joe right away to let him know that it wasn't his roof which made him quite happy.

The measure of a good company is certainly their quality and price and attention to detail but a truer measure is how they deal with things that don't go right or an unhappy customer. These guys are top notch in every way. I would highly recommend them to anyone.

This was my first time replacing a roof. I knew ours was getting old but didn't think I could get insurance to pay for it. He helped me navigate my conversations with insurance and talked me through timelines and products and next steps along the way. DaVinci recently replaced our roof which was damaged by hail. The owner, Joseph, guided us through the process from beginning to end. Joe inspected our roof after a hail, worked with our insurance company to file the claim, and his crews replaced our roof timely and cleanly. Joe is always friendly and responsive during the whole procedure: when I had questions, he explain all the details; when we had a leak, he came to our house during the weekend for a quick fix; during and after the work, he visited the site multiple times to ensure our satisfaction. Furthermore, Joe clearly explained to us the risk of the insurance company denying the claim and made the best effort to avoid such a case. I am satisfied with the overall procedure.

Though maybe not the best place, want to give our insurance company Nationwide Insurance a five star as well for their timely help.

A hailstorm in Dublin, Ohio damaged the roof on our home. We contacted several roofing companies for advice and estimates. Fortunately, we chose DaVinci Contracting of New Albany, Ohio to do our repair work. The owner of the company, Joe Darby, came to our to inspect our roof and to meet with us to answer the many questions we had about the process for replacing our roof. We signed the roofing contract with DaVinci Roofing that night. He also made an additional trip to our home to meet with our insurance adjuster to make sure that all damages were recorded in our claim. Joe's crew arrived at date/time that he had set with us and were able to finish our roofing within the two days stated on our contract. All debris was gathered in a large dumpster which arrived the day of roofing and was picked up promptly at the completion of our roof. We could not be more pleased with DaVinci Contracting crew and owner. We HIGHLY recommend this company to anyone looking for a reputable and skilled roofing repair project.

DaVinci replaced my roof and siding after a severe storm. I was very happy their work. Job was completed fast and satisfactory. Everything was cleaned up each day. Many of my neighbors stopped and complimented my home and how good the upgrades looked!!

We live in the Amherst, Lorain county area and Gerald was the blessing we needed! Our new roof is gorgeous. The workers were respectful. It was a painless experience and now we have the best looking roof in the neighborhood. The only gripe I have was the amount of nails I found afterwards. A jar full!

Joe and his team did a great job with our roof. Joe worked with us on helpful information in order to get more items covered under warranty than our original installer would do. The majority of our roof was out of our pocket so Joe being has helpful as he was saved us a bunch without having to cut any corners. His crew was on time and respectful of our property. Excellent quality, real people (not over the top salesmen just out for a sale), great to work with and knows the whole process (from finances to materials). We chose a higher quality shingle so it took longer for the materials to come in but when they did, we were on the schedule within days and had a new roof in two days. We highly recommend DaVinci and will use them for all our future repairs.

We had a new roof installed, and it was an easy process from start to finish. Joe helped with getting the estimate from our insurance company and the roof took one day from start to finish--removing the old roof and installing the new.
