I found Dakota Spray Insulators, LLC online and gave Chris a call. He was knowledgeable and took the time to answer my questions. He promptly gave me a detailed estimate from house plans I sent him prior to the start of construction on my house. He came after the house was framed to show me what I needed to do in preparation for him to start spraying. He was accommodating on a start date as construction was slower than anticipated. After arriving on the job site and prior to spraying he set up multiple tarps across the floor underneath his work area. I had him spray the entire attic and gable end walls of my house and garage which took him multiple days and he did a very thorough job all the way to the end. Once he was done spraying he shaved off any excess spray foam and swept the entire building, which was above and beyond what I had expected. Chris did the work he said he would do at the price he quoted, was very organized and clean. I will hire him again for any future spray foaming.
I had Chris insulate my lake house by Woonsocket and he did an awesome job! Very prompt, courteous and knowledgeable. The foam really makes a huge difference. Do not have my A/C hooked up yet and it stays cool in the house.
This is a mobile business. One phone call and Chris was on the road within 24 hours after I committed to have him do a house that I am building on my family's ranch south of Rapid City, S.D. This was my first experience with spray foam. His web-site is very informative. You can do your homework there. In person, he can easily answer any questions about this product. I was fortunate that someone cancelled on his schedule and that gave him the opportunity to do my job. He is meticulous when it comes to his spray pattern. It is uniform and precise. There was no end to the tarps that he brought to make sure the job site stayed clean. I chose this form of insulation for my house ceiling because I did not want to vent the attic. Past experiences in other houses have shown that blizzards can put snow into your attic through roof and eave vents that likes to melt on your ceiling drywall and leave stains. The bottom line is Chris wants to work and I paid him.
