Custom Decks did a tremendous job on our new deck! The entire process was very easy. Chad is a great communicator and didn’t rush us through the process. He took the time to answer all of our questions during the proposal process. He pays attention to the details and recommended positive changes in the design of the new deck. His crew also replaced all rotten boards around the deck on the house which was much appreciated. We highly recommend Custom Decks!

Chad and his team did a great job with installing underdeck materials on two decks at our home. Chad spent a lot of time with us in explaining the process and working out how to handle some tricky installation issues. The work was done in a timely fashion and exactly on budget. Custom Decks took out our old deck which was 3 tiers and put in a single walk out deck which will be easier to clean and just the right size for family entertainment. It looks so nice now, we love it. They moved off the furniture and cast iron grill from the old deck and put it back on the new deck in a way that makes more sense for outdoor grilling/eating. Chad and Kyle installed a Tuscany railing on my deck and I am very pleased with the whole experience. They were very professional, efficient and a pleasure to work with. I feel fortunate that the railing supplier referred me to Custom Decks.

I’m rather picky about home improvement projects, and I have been burned a few times by contractors who do substandard work. A retired carpenter friend and I worked together to rebuild the deck this fall because I wasn’t sure I could find anyone who would do the job to my satisfaction. The final step was to install the railing. I was going to do it myself until I found Chad. Having him do the railing was one of my better decisions, and it’s clear that I could have easily trusted him with the whole deck project, had I known about Custom Decks earlier.
