After doing a lot of research before ordering my metal building, I decided to use this company and glad I did. These guys are legit. I was more than satisfied to do business with this company. Mickey, The sales Representative went over and above my expectations. Competitive price, great communication, answer all of my questions and I never felt pressured. I was told the Install would be 4 to 6 weeks. And it was finish in 2 weeks. This company has its own in-house Install crew run by Hector. Once again, the communication was great. They called me the day before and then again 30 minutes before arrival these guys were pleasant to work with. Professional, great communication, quality work and they left the job site spotless when they were done. If you were looking for a metal building, don’t look elsewhere this is who you want to use.

I had a building installed in October 2024. The roof has been leaking since that time. No one will answer the phone or return calls. The office staff says a repair technician will call. It is now April, and no one has called or returned my calls. Robyn says it is my issue since I do not know who I have been speaking to. Kaitlyn says they have not received any voicemails, although I sent her a screenshot of my call logs. Another lady told me the people who probably took my messages are no longer employed and they are unable to locate any information from when the previous employees were there. This place is HORRIBLE. RUN away from this company.

The custom built company contracts out with smaller installers. The installer did not install the correct windows and has since closed. Custom Bullt has let this situation go on for weeks now creating barriers to completing the build and has cost thousands of dollars. I am now having to hire out someone else to replace the windows which is going to cost thousands more dollars. While customer service was friendly, it is not worth the headache or cost.

I had a 30x40 building put up by this company. They were great! Until I gave them the deposit. It went down hill from there. Can’t trust anything they say. It was installed 3 months ago, some things weren’t installed right and there are multiple leaks. They agreed to come fix it but here I am 3 months later and they still haven’t showed up. I would not use this company again.

I went though Mr car port and they used this company for my garage At June Around 6 2024 payed 2,500.00 Depost for my Garage I pad I thought it was done right but the Contractor I used done it wrong so custom Built brought my Garage from North Carolina to Tennessee to put it up they could not because the pad was to low at the back so I decided to send it back it cost me another 650.00 to send it back untill my contractor I had to fix the pad and I could not get him to come and fix the pad so I call Custom Build Structure and cancel my
Building and said I could not get my 5,600.00 back so they kept my 2,500.00 Deposit and my 650.00 and my 5,600.00 To bunch of scammers out of North Carolina so take my advice and don’t used these bunch crooks I could not lay down at night knowing I cheated somebody

Custom Built Structures, Inc put my building up. They have been out 2 times to solve an issue with the building shaking in the wind(failing to fix the issue the first time miserably). The first time they added hat channel front to back and rigged up supports made of tube inserted in to each other(basically scrap metal pictured) did not solve the issue so the 2nd time they came out they added horizontal and vertical supports and that solved my issue up front(which i am now happy with that). Still have issues with the rear wall shaking and they want to charge me to fix that issue.Uriel said $750, $650, then went down to $500 saying they would fix it for that if i took my facebook post down. Well i took the post down to hope maybe we could work something out. Talked to my dealer( that doesn't do business with custom built anymore due to disagreements) to get advice and he said heck no, don't pay that, they need to come out and fix it correctly at their cost. Seems as if they should have added all this when the building was constructed. Figured I'd throw it out there. I have tried getting up with Alex the owner, goodluck with that. He will just pawn you off to Ruby who was also no help. Ruby wanted to see the video I already sent Kaitlyn and Uriel and she said that they installed the building 100% to the engineers specs and that they will not fix it without charging me materials and labor. I guess "engineers" specs means the building shakes like crazy in the wind or when you push on it with one hand? Uriel is also trying to say i never said anything about the back wall shaking(why did they add hat channel from front all the way back then?). Work order is after the first trip out they charged me $150 and they didn't accomplish anything so we're going to return a second time. 2/23/25 I have posted my engineered plans and it shows that they should have double legged my side posts of my building, which they did not do, so I payed for that and they did not do it right. Photo attached of the "engineered" plans

Retired military homeless for over 8 months now, I can not recommend this company at all! Complete waste of time if you expect to get a building from them. Ordered my building through Carport Commanders as the dealer and Custom Built Structures as the manufacturer. Abby in scheduling is the absolute worst. She loves dodging your calls and pretending she doesn't know who it is on the phone all while giggling in the background. If you get her, RUN. My order was placed and confirmed early September 2024. I then later called after CBS the first week in December after missing their first estimated time frame due to CBS forgetting about my building and making up a permit that was needed for my area. I then provided this permit waver, for a place that doesn't need or use permits or inspections and Abby stated before end of Year, yet they waited 3 months to tell me this permit was even asked for. Abby then loves to dodge emails and phone calls as I finally got ahold of her in early January she said it would be last week in Jan 2025, well I called yesterday and she wanted an additional 50% deposit that they said wasn't paid but was in fact paid in October of 2024 but I wouldnt be put on scheduling until an already paid amount was paid again. New "best guess" install is end of Feb 2025 but not confirmed as there's no crews in my area of Missouri apparently. If you want your time and money wasted, im currently at 4 missed time frames, I highly recommend Custom Built Structures. If you want a quality building, a good experience and an honored agreement RUN. Not military friendly.

That's a lie, refer to your email communication traffic with Andy and I in October. Ill attach the first as a reminder. So that's from early October, right? If you see the emails after that, I virtually hand delivered the finalized contract to your email box in October. Before I called in Dec wondering where my building was, you apologized and said you'd try before year end. Shall I also attach the apology email to refresh your history?

Now that the building is finally installed more headaches; Instead of 6 double pane windows, I received single pane, turns out Will from Carport Commander screwed me on this and didn't price it out. However I also included a literal diagram of how high the 2nd floor loft window should be from the floor and they managed to attach it as high as possible to the attic truss, nearly 16.5 ft off the ground, instead of the needed, and asked for, 12-13 ft to bottom the bottom for a useable window. Now when I go to have the area finished the ceiling will also block an area of the upper window. 3rd your advertised doors of 36"x80" do not offer a walk through space of 36"x80" due to a unmentioned door seal bringing it to 34" wide. So much for 36" wheel chair access and a .5" lip to step over. 4th, instead of your crew installing my 30'x50' building in the center of my 31'x51' slab. They aligned it to northwest corner resulting in a 10 inch thick interior wall needed to hide water/electrical box/ septic lines on the west side. All wasted sqaure footage. On the east side they cut my double rail to notch in the drain line, I specifically requested double rail just for them to butcher it up when it was unnecessary. 2x 100' tape measures were on site to ensure the slab and building was square. But this was just lazy. Best of all I managed to get a 3 man crew that only spoke Spanish. They worked and did a fantastic job but any means on translation over google translate didn't translate or were ignored. They were provided instructions, pictures and diagrams written in English from you but they couldn't speak or read English. If this is the experience you want.........go for it.

Very poor customer service. They don’t even do the work. They subbed it out to some random folks that did the work. They won’t reply to my emails nor will anyone from management contact me. It’s been 4 months and my building is still leaking. They have attempted to fix it 3 separate times. My whole project is on hold because of it and they have cost me all the profit margin on the build. Very poor communication and very poor workmanship. Avoid this company.

Outstanding experience. Awesome support with plans and sales. Scheduling worked with me until my pad was completed. Great company and Jessica Tuttle on FB gave me all the info I needed. Best prices as well.

Had a 30x50 building installed, the crew did an awesome job besides they didn’t install the header seals on the doors, “didn’t notice because it was dark when they finished” next day i noticed contacted the crew and they said they would be back, never showed. Contacted Custom Built Structures said they would get them scheduled to come back out, been a month and nothing, call and text and get nothing, maybe a review will get an answer..

Buyers Beware -Find another metal building company!

We purchased a 30 x 40 metal building with 3 overhead insulated garage doors with glass windows. Approx. one week prior to installation we received a phone call stating we needed to send another $800.00 to have an additional employee on site to hold the ladders since our foundation was several feet above the surrounding ground, after we refused to rent a lift. The 4-man crew showed up and not long after arriving the supervisor left, and we watched the 3 crew members work without anyone holding the ladders. They climbed up the ladders carrying materials without any issues. Have video proof. The crew ended up leaving early since they were not properly dressed for December weather on top of the mountain. They returned the next day dressed more appropriately. We offered hot coffee throughout the day to help keep them warm. The build continued well into the night for several days. With them finishing after dark with only the light of their cell phones. Very nerve wracking watching them walk on the roof and rafters without any safety harnesses or proper lighting. Definitely an OSHA violation!
Then they tried to short us out a man door, which we provided them our paperwork and they had to go out and pick up another door. The garage overhead doors were not installed until a week later. Days after overhead doors were installed, we had major water leaks under all 3 overhead doors, man door and side of building. Water coming in about 5 feet and in some areas over 10 ft. We also purchased the base rail caulking which should have prevented the water leakage from the side of the building which it did not. The doors have been a major issue since completed last December (2023). We immediately called and send pictures and videos to Custom Built. This issue is still continuing with no resolution.
We have spent countless hours cleaning up water, mopping and sweeping out huge puddles and constantly running multiple fans to dry the garage floor. Items have been damaged due to the flooding waters in our garage. All of this costing us time and money! We can't keep anything at least 10 ft. from the front of the garage due to the ongoing water issues, we learned that the hard way!
Part of the initial water issue was due to the rubber gaskets on the bottom of the overhead doors. Custom Built and Mayberry Garage Doors had come back out several times and replaced the gaskets and installed cheap thresholds. After several attempts to correct the problem, we purchased new high-quality thresholds which they installed. The thresholds we purchased came with a tube of adhesive for each threshold. After installation we noticed they only used one tube of adhesive for all 3 doors, specifically after telling them to use all of the adhesive.
Still water was getting in and around the doors. Then we determined the water was coming in through the door panels and windows. Along with the entire door trim of the outside of the building. Custom built continued to come out and replace panels and door windows all with no good result. As of writing this today all 3 doors have had each and every door panel and window replaced 4 times and still, they continue to leak. Some replacement panels had tears, dents, not painted and were damaged. We were told once there would a delay so they could make sure the replacement parts were not damaged, but they still showed up with damaged materials.
Plus, you can see daylight around all 3 overhead doors and along the top of the building where the sides meet the roof in some spots. General rule of thumb you should not see any daylight coming in anywhere besides a window! Where there is daylight there is bugs, rodents and water also coming in. Doors were installed incorrectly from the beginning which is causing this problem. Doors are bowed, some lean in and some bulge out. There fix for that drill in more screws! We have enough screws installed that we could install a whole other door or more.

Ordered a building from USA metal structures talked to john and placed my order on 9/12/2024 was told would take 4-6 weeks for installation
Here we are nov 6th and being told it’ll be the second week of December before they will be able to come out to install the building
John will not return phone calls or texts going to get anything done I’ve had to go around him and call custom built structures to get any information
This is the 3rd metal building I’ve order and the worst company’s to deal with THE ONLY WAY FOR YOU TO GET ANY INFORMATION FROM ANYONE IS BY CALLING

Project still in progress. Contract signed on July 3. Today is October 18. So far:

1. I was told on July 3 that I would need to secure my own permits. I contacted the City Inspector, who informed me I am not allowed to do that. The reason is that many shed-building companies want to avoid liability for their own work by having the client pull permits instead of pulling permits themselves. I shared screenshots with the customer service representative and said Custom Built Structures (CBS) would have to pull permits or I would need to find another builder. They agreed to pull permits but would charge me an extra 5% for doing so. I agreed, and signed the contract with a deposit.

2. Fast forward to early August, CBS calls me to schedule the build. They ask if I have the permits. I told them I paid for them to pull the permits, so that's on them. They had not done this and wanted to reschedule.

3. August 29, CBS messages me to ask if I have a receipt for the 5% permit fee. It turns out they never charged me for pulling the permits, when I thought I had paid this in July.

Then they tell me the price has gone up due to the cost of engineering fees since July, and I'll have to pay more than originally agreed upon for the permit at this later date.

I refused, provided screenshots of our written conversation and agreement from July 3, and eventually got the manager to override and agree to the original permit fee price. Then, I paid this fee.

4. On September 3, the CBS building engineer, Thomas, emailed me to get information necessary for pulling the permit. On September 4, I replied back with all the necessary information.

5. September 28, I sent an email to the engineer asking for a status report on my project. No reply.

6. October 9, I sent a message to the customer service representative asking for a status report on my project. No reply.

7. Monday, October 14, I called Custom Built Structures at 877-552-7020 and spoke with a woman to get a status update. She contacted Thomas to ask, and then told me he was looking into it. She asked if I wanted to wait on hold or have her call me back. I told her calling me back would be fine.

8. Wednesday, October 16 at 1509 CST, I called Custom Built Structures at 336-415-4520 and left a voice message requesting a status update. No reply.

9. Thursday, October 17 at 1115 CST, I called Custom Built Structures at 336-415-4520 and left a voice message requesting a status update. No reply.

10. Friday, October 18, at 1156, I called Custom Built Structures at 336-415-4520 and left a voice message requesting a status update and informing them that if I do not receive a reply soon, I will be escalating this to the BBB because I'm now wondering if their company is just a cover for a scam rather than a real business.

I called the direct number for the manager listed on my contract: Jason, at 336-245-4460 at 1223 hours CST today as well. The line is disconnected and there is a "your call cannot be completed as dialed" error message.

Custom Built Structures has taken over $2,000 of my money after we were hit by a tornado, and they refuse to communicate with me, provide status updates, or follow through on the job they were hired to perform.

I look forward to updating this Google Review with news that doesn't include a lawsuit, because I ain't got time for that crap. I just want this workshop built or my money back.

Completely unacceptable. Delay after delay and the building finally went up. Now after 2 months the windows are falling out because they weren't secured to the building. Incompetence and dangerous results. Unfortunately, it is a 1 star. Save yourself the heartache and having to deal with the callus staff that feels it is acceptable to never have your building completely put together properly.

Purchased a 60x40 metal building, the newest model available called "The Cifford" Mickey the salesman was great to work with and was very helpful in providing his knowledge and overall purchase experience. That's the good however the information provided relative to the large concrete pour was not clear and trying to get some questions answered in a timely manner was the absolute worse. Not getting answers or even anyone to respond to my calls or constant emails delayed my pour by 3 to 4 weeks. Getting the permits needed was another issue because of the not having proper documentation. Once the concrete was finally complete the job started and the installation crew began. The build went fair but not without some hitches. Questions came up about the gutter sizing for a 6/12 pitch that took more time to resolve. Then there was issues with the insulation vapor barrier tape where some was installed on the seams but not completed as I was promised. This was never resolved even after I asked them to send me the tape and I would complete the work. Very very poor communications from Thomas and most of their team. I will never recommend them or have another building built buy them.

Do not use this company!!!!!! My experience so far 8/25/24..install was to be today between 7 and 8am..no show no call. When I chose to call them they said the would call me back. 30 min later called me back and said they was stopped by dot in transit and now won't be here till wendsdays. When I explained I took today off from work they said " well we didn't tell you to take work off" this is funny sence to schedule it they asked if I'd be there to show them how to get to the site and ensure they have power supply. Been 3 hours now and still waiting for a supervisor to contact me. I will follow up with how the rest goes. But so far I would look elsewhere for sure!!!!!

Shopped around for 3 to 4 months reading reviews from BBB, Google and Yelp and decided on Custom Built Structures. I am very pleased with the 30x50 building and the installation crew that dealt with the 97-degree summer heat to get it done. The company has a good problem. They have so many orders there is a backlog of jobs to be completed. After having mine completed. I can see why they have so many orders so be patient! The end result is worth the wait. I'll be recommending them to others!

This is the second building from custom built structures I’ve purchased. My first building was a 24 x 40 and that crew did an amazing job so I did not hesitate to go back to them for my second building a 40 x 50 shop. The crew arrived on time as promised and Phillip, Victor and Phillips son I’m sorry I forgot his name got the building finished quickly. This crew was friendly, courteous and hustled the entire time from sun up to sun down. You can see they take pride in their work so do yourself a favor and get custom built structures to build your dream. I don’t want to leave out the staff who you speak to when you call custom built structures as everyone is friendly, helpful and knowledgeable about the entire process. Again do yourself a favor and get them for your next build.

****The company response is mis leading no miscommunication there was a mistake. I emailed the order with the Wainscot on day of confirmation. I am currently waiting on the install after being told it was a dealer mistake. I'm not sure why anyone would say I communicated wrong when the order was sent over thru email with proof ***

I had countless issues from lack of communication to no flexibility with scheduling. Now my install is complete and it is wrong missing the Wainscot/trim and the builder didn't have the material to correct it. The contact Christine went back and forth on text instead of acknowledging the mistake and fixing it.

Waiting on resolution very unhappy with the entire process so far.

Purchase a 30x50x12 steel building from this company and I am so happy with it. Strength, looks and quality is top notch. I'd buy another one tomorrow if I need it. Sheila is who I spoke with. She is very friendly and professional. If your looking to buy a steel building, don't look any further. I did tons of research before deciding to go with this company and not only did they have the best price, I feel they have the best crews to install it. The 3 guys that put my up were very good. The attention to detail they had was impeccable. From arrival to cleaning up and finished was 18.5 hrs. That's outstanding! This building will be around long after a stick built building would be. The only regret you may have is not getting a bigger build once they built the one you chose. Lol.

Very happy with the initial communication and process for getting metal building. Sales team quick to respond and answer questions regarding process, needs, pricing, and creating comprehensive drawings. Can’t wait to get our building installed.

We really try hard not to leave feedback and allow for resolution / compromise. However, no resolution is happening here. This is the worst company we have ever dealt with! We started a structure 1 year ago and still have incomplete work, several no shows or reschedules after we waited half a day for them to show up and lost time at work. They ran out of materials and didn't tell us, just left the job undone. Have leaks at roof joints where it shouldnt leak, uneven roof edges compromising water run off and gutter usage. They left beer bottles and cans all over the property at the initial installation, screws everwhere that we had to pick up as to not get them in our tires. I do NOT recommend this company to anyone!

Have been trying for weeks upon weeks to get our issues fixed but NO ONE follows through. Message after message and Miguel never calls back now. Aluminum trim around every window sloppy, side door does not latch, garage doors do not come down enough to prevent water running in. Pictures will be posted also

Great experience from start to finish, everything was completed on schedule and no issues. They cleaned up everything and left with it looking great.

Don't bother doing business with this company they will rip you off. They gave me a quote on a contract and made me rent $1,000 lift and they didn't even need. Then they raised the price on the job $1,095 more than the original estimate after they costed me over $1,000 for a lift that they didn't even need! These people are a bunch of crooks!

Installers are terrible,tried to work in the dark. Office is not far behind them. I had issues with the doors before install crew left and they said they couldn't correct it because they didn't sell it. Roof has 5 spots leaking and I have contacted sales and Custom built Structures several time, I see that there is NO warranty, no one answers!!!! I do not recommend Mr Carports or custom built structures to anyone. I was going to get another building from them even have a deposit on it but not now. They won't get another dollar from me.

They really deserve a NO star rating. They left me swinging without working doors for 4 months. Nothing but lies and empty promises. Absolutely NO customer service to back up their shoddy work. They left me with unfinished sharp edges, water leaks under the walls and non working doors. Another company had to be hired to replace the doors ..I had to repair the rough edges and water problems.Feel free to contact me for pictures,

Installer Manuel Rivas did a great job on both my garage doors. One of the panels were bent slightly but they discounted the price. I would recommend Custom built structures for building install as well. Thanks

Just sorry, they will throw the building up and leave. Building is leaking when we call them to fix the problem they will schedule a day to fix it and on the day of they will call and reschedule.
I don’t recommend no one to buy a building from Custom Built Structures or Bull Building.
If I could give them a zero I would.

I had a 30×40×12 metal garage installed. I was highly satisfied with my build. The installers were great, went over everything before starting. If I had any questions they answered them. I highly recommend this company!

Excellent install. The was on time and worked hard to get the building up. The crew asked questions when issues came up and they all were handled with professionalism.

They just got our building put up the other day. Looks GREAT the guys did a amazing job installing it, everyone from start to finish was easy to deal with. They explained everything making sure we got exactly what we wanted. Definitely recommend using them, I know we will again in the future. Thank yall again, yalls whole staff is truly amazing.

Custom Built Structures delivered and installed our carport ahead of schedule! You could not ask for a better crew. They were all very friendly and professional. We cannot speak highly enough of Christina, she made the entire process seamless!

We recently bought two buildings through Custom Built Structures. The whole team was awesome and fast with scheduling to install the building. The install crew was fast and thorough. Very polite and clean. I had a great experience and would definitely buy from them again.

Everything from ordering, and having it put up was great. Price was very fair. Would highly recommend them and would come back if I ever needed another carport. 26x 12 with a window. Enough room for my F-150 plus some upfront storage.

Everything from the buying process to the install was great. The quality was phenomenal. The installers were too and I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend. I’m a picky person and I was well pleased with everything.

Once I had the land ready they were there in less than 3 weeks. Good quality work and the office personnel kept me well informed of progress.

Edit #2: CBS has paid for 5 star reviews on Google and on the BBB since I originally commented on how greedy and terrible they are, yet they won't attempt to make things right with my situation. I have reached out to Alex Torres (the owner) through email and phone, but to no avail. He does not care about his customers. Do not believe the fake reviews.

Edit: I have attempted to reach back out to CBS and to Mr Carports (same company, they just have their salesmen work under a different company name) and everyone REFUSES to make any attempt to do right. Not sure why their response states to "reach back out" to them. I have attempted to speak with the owner, but the office manager refuses to transfer me if they even pick up the phone. This company cares nothing about the customer, only the $$. Avoid at all costs.

Bunch of thieves work here. I initially offered an additional $500 up front to avoid any issues with getting my building installed. Issues being - do not bring a 30 ft gooseneck trailer, do not have mine as the first drop to avoid flipping over because of turns, sent pictures, dimensions, distances, etc. Signed a contract and was told 10-15 business days or less before it was installed. 26 business later, it was scheduled to be installed, then pushed out another 2 days. 1st install crew shows up with 4 guys, turned around and left. Said they didn't want to do it. Took forever to get anyone on the phone for an explanation. They claimed, sorry, it's a sub crew. We can't tell them what to do. That's their way of stating they aren't assuming responsibility for anything. After FINALLY getting my building rescheduled, along with my electricians and movers, it was scheduled for 8/14, then 8/15, then 8/16, and lastly 8/17. This crew showed up with only 2 guys, he pulled up my driveway and into my backyard with minimal issues. My neighbor and I helped unload the tubing, then the driver decided he'd get closer to the concrete pad. Look at that! He parked right in front of it. I brought the guys beers and picked up their pizza for them so they could keep working. I still got stuck with paying extra, although no one paid any attention to my suggestions the first go round nor did they hold up to their 10-15 days or less until installed claim either. Not to mention me constantly shifting around my schedule as well as movers and an electrician. When I requested to have the $500 additional removed because of issues this company caused, they claim there is nothing they can do and acted like they had done no wrong. Do not trust this company. Look at their BBB profile, terrible. Don't let this company screw you like they did me.

I wish I could rate the build team and the administrative team separately. Customer service was awful. They responded immediately at first and communicated very well until they collected my deposit. After that I had to send several emails and texts to several people to get ant answers. I heard no word at all from them as to when they were going to actually build this for several weeks. It took me over a month of emails, texts, voice-mails, and phone calls to get an answer as to when they would be here to build.
The crew that built it was friendly and hard working and they did a terrific job. One of their guys dropped a ladder on my mom's car and damaged the door. But the foreman immediately gave me his insurance info and his insurance fixed the damages very promptly. I'd rate the builders with 5 stars but the customer service and administration with 1 star.

I give 5 Stars to Phil Hernandez and his two person crew who fixed my 24’x25’ garage after I rejected it because of poor workmanship by the initial install crew. I was to the point of getting Custom Built Structures to come take the building, but because of Phil and his persistence in making it right, I ended getting the necessary repairs. Phil was very helpful and professional throughout and delivered positive results. If it wasn’t for Phil and his two person crew, I don’t think I would have kept the building and this would have been a 1 Star review instead of a 5 Star review.

Recently completed a 20x32 metal building. Quick turnaround after making contract. Installation crew was prompt with plenty of notice. Their work was great. Good job with cleanup. Building held it's own after a weekend of torrential rains and a little snow. All with high winds. Strongly recommend Custom Building Structures.

Mario and his crew worked diligently to complete our project. Very professional and detail oriented. We couldn't have had a better experience through this project. Great crew to work with.

and then you left our paid for structure with a dented roof that now leaks like crazy every time it sprinkles a rain. NO ONE will respond or answer our calls. Would not recommend this company to anyone. Fix it or refund us.
Well, second review: After weeks, a repair was scheduled, then put off. On the second date given, the crew finally arrived after dark. That same night we got more rain and the leaks were still there.. because they wouldn't put the new metal up like they should have. Sooo, we called again, and again, and again finally we were assured the crew would be here yesterday. He called last night at about 8:15 saying he was 40 minutes from us, on his way. At 9:30, we called him as it was too late for them to come and it was raining. He said he'd be here at 8:00 this morning. It is now 10:05 and NOTHING. Do NOT use this company. It is a total waste of your money.

Called and spoke to a woman regarding permitting of a metal garage. I waited on hold for a while and she returned and responded that she would take my name & number and have someone call me back. The following week I called again and left my name & number and information for what I was needing. Again, no response. I took my business elsewhere and got great customer service and support. I will not use this company.

Terrible experience. We purchased a 40x60 building in September and it’s been an ongoing issue since. They postponed our install twice. The crew that erected our building left cigarette butts, trash, screws and bolts in our yard. They drove over our septic system and crushed it, we still have not gotten an answer if they will repair or compensate for it. The workers who installed the building stayed after dark playing with the equipment, smoking cigarettes in the bucket of the lift and hanging out on top of our shop roof. We had our first big winter rain and have leaks in the roof so they have to come back and make repairs. We were promised door seals to compensate for previous issues and have yet to receive them because once again we’ve been rescheduled not twice but 3 times now and they don’t even bother to call or tell you anything. You have to hunt them down to get an answer if they’re going to show up or not. After emailing, texting and calling Abby, the representative over our area we are no longer getting any responses. They were supposed to come make repairs and install door seals today but it’s after 12 pm and no call, no show. Don’t use these people, it’s been a terrible experience.

We just had our 40x40 building completed last week. The crew showed up on time. They were polite and they even cleaned up pretty well afterwards. The building looks well constructed. We look forward to our next building. We would and do recommend Custom Built Structures. We have already told some folks about the building. Customer service was great. They even didn't mind our inexperienced questions.

They where prompt with the timing and I love the building. Bur one side door won't close and I told them within the week and they still haven't sent anyone to fix it. They keep telling me some one is coming and it's all lies.

Ashley contacted me to set up a time for the buildings to be erected, along with going over all the details. Miguel and his partner were very diligent with getting the buildings completed in a timely manner. Working 12-13 hours a day. They also took care in what they were doing. They buildings are laser leveled and within 1/16”. Very impressive! Ashley contacted me afterwards to ensure I was happy with everything and see if I had any questions. Great company to do business with!

Can’t say enough good things about the whole process of this building I just had installed. From the ordering and verifying to the installation - it was all first class!
Special kudos to the install crew led by Victor Santiago. They were all very meticulous and QUICK. They all had a system set up to where there was zero wasted motion. Was a treat for me to watch a team work so well.

Someone forgot to call me to tell me for sure they were delivering the carport. The men were here at 3:30 pm and worked till 7:30 or after. It was so cold and windy I was afraid for their safety. Then came back the next day before 8:00 am and finished. Since then I have learned that the temperature had drop down in the teens and your men worked as if they didn't notice the cold (freezing) weather along with a smile on their faces. I thank them but I want you to also tell them thank you. I like my carport and thank you to you men again my car and truck thank you. This company was awesome . I ordered the building and it was delivered and installed within few weeks . The setup crew was friendly and called when they were close and on their way . They put in long days and made sure the building was put up to my satisfaction before leaving .. I highly recommend this company.

Dealing with the office was very easy. Any questions or concerns I had were answered in a timely manner. The install crew were very nice and worked very fast. My only complaint is the install crew left a lot of scrap metal(big sheets) lots of trash and metal screws everywhere. Also I recommend paying the install crew to seal the gap between the cement and the building, that killed the knees and back. Other then that we are very happy with the building . We already had it insulated
Update 2 sept 2024 after the last rain storm our room started leaking in multiple spots and the company only has a 90 day warranty. I should have done better research to find a company with a better warranty. I’m having to fix roof leaks on my own and the building isn’t even a year old .

Had an RV carport built, great job and deal for vertical roof with boxed gables. Would recommend Custom Built for any of your metal building needs. Juan and crew were very friendly and professional.. great job!!
