I ordered a custom color coil. When it arrived the color was loaded backwards which caused the color to be on the inside of the coil instead of the outside. The coil was ultimately incompatible with my machine and custom bilt would not work with me to have a new coil shipped to me. I was given the option of sending the coil back and be given a credit or refund. I sent the coil back three months ago and as of this review have not been given a refund. Every time I call I get a different excuse as to why the refund has not been processed. Avoid Custom Bilt at all costs! If I could rate 0 stars I would.

At first we really loved Custom but slowly the business got horrible!!!! They over charge, send material that wasn’t ordered, send doubles of orders. Double charge. Send wrong colors. Amanda is never in front of her computer to help you. She’s quick to cut you off and can never return a call. Going on months of waiting for her to fix our account and call back. Of course, she’s done nothing. I’m waiting for corporate to call back and hopefully someone will have the time to help.
We just don’t have the time or money for all their excuses. It shouldn’t be that hard.

This place has turned upside down since they want to change and it's not for the better I worked here almost 4 years ye I'm not the best employee but worked my butt off for this place and went over and arm off for a raise (not really) but the material has turned to crap and I was told many times over I would move up in the company just promises from a black hole and worked through many lunches and many hours I had some issues with how things were changing and because I cared I complained about how this place was getting dirty messy and not enough material for our customers and was told I'm gna be losing my job because of it I enjoyed most of the people I worked with and for, at the beginning 3 years after that all threats to lose jobs and no care for the employees whatsoever just pure disregard to the people that help make this company money I wouldn't recommend this place for a dam screw which by the way is overpriced as well I hope they go under if I was anybody seeking material I would go to any other place just for the plain fact they suck and are a horrible company now

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
