Needed a roofing repair so I called Crescent and they were out the next day with a quote. Scheduled the repair for the week after next they no called/no showed. Contacted the salesman he rescheduled for Monday or Tuesday of the next week, again no call/no showed. Texted salesman and he was apathetic. I know I will need new roofs on my 2 houses within the next 10 years, but it won’t being going to a company that does not respect my time or the courtesy showing up.

We had our roof redone on our sunroom in May 2023 and started getting leaks less than a month later. We called and they said they would have someone come out and that there was a death of someone. Of course I have empathy for that situation and patiently waited. Now we have called recently and still no date set for anyone to come out. I know after the storm we recently had they may be busy but I would think they would at least call us and schedule. We have been nothing but patient dealing with leaks in this part of the house. We have a warranty and they are supposed to fix their errors!!! We will never hire them again. This was a terrible experience in our home buying process. I wish I could give them negative five stars just based on their professionalism.

My HOA hired Crescent to replace roofing on 4 buildings. They were prompt, cleaned everything up and did a great job. It all looks good and no leaks anywhere. They had the lowest bid but did a great job.

All in a day and in my judgement an A+ job..This crew did not miss a detail..Home is around 1800 heated square feet with a garage..Kevin (the owner) made practiced and fair suggestions..The house looks new with the 3D architectural shingles..Very careful and no mess..I'm glad I chose Crescent Construction for a roof replacement..

Do not hire Crescent! They replaced my roof 2yrs ago and it has leaked in several different places. First repair took three different people to repair water running down an indoor wall. Damage has occurred to the ceiling which is wood and sticky substance running down the wall. Many calls and emails have been sent since since August 2023. A different roofing company took pictures that revealed nail heads rusting, old boots improperly installed, flashing improperly sealed, wrong shingles used. Kevin Varnedore has contacted me with just one email in December 2023. No calls or visits. He said the crew would redo part of what they did. My roof is still leaking.

Crescent Construction did a roofing project for us. They do not honor warranty services. I contacted them several times to repair roof on chemical bldg. They did not answer the phone or return calls. They sub out work to people who do not know how to properly install TPO roof materials. The product has bubbles and is not slope properly for drainage. I had to reach out to another contractor to fix the issues.

Got them to replace roof in October of 2022. Had leaking and sent a guy out to look to see where roof was leaking he decided to replace some of the roof in and near the valley, as of this day no phone call or anyone came out to replace the roof and want pick up phone or a call back. My roof is still leaking. Will never suggest them to anyone. All I ask is them to fix our roof that we payed $6000.00 dollars for this roof. I look at it this way if you're professional you should do your job and go back and fix what didn't fix the first time.

Had roof done through this company which looked awesome but as soon as it rained it poured in my house. To fix they used touch up paint and spray stuff. We had our doors and new storm doors done also through them at the same time and man they jacked our front door up. storm doors has so many holes from them drilling then redrilling that now it is having to be trash as no one can fix it. Plus a hole so big in frame and door you can see light coming in during day. Will NEVER recommend them to anyone! Mac did a great job at selling company but the people that actually do the work sucked. Still dealing with the problems they created years later

Poor Communication / Shoddy workmanship.
Contacted Henry in January 2023 about repairing our roof in an area Crescent had previously worked around. After several weeks of poor return communication I contacted the President Kevin Varnadore. He assured us he would find out what was going on. We never heard back from them again.
We hired another roofing contractor who discovered that Crescent's poor flashing installation and shoddy workmanship was the direct cause of the water intrusion issues we were currently experiencing. If you have any other option, do not use Crescent Construction LLC.

This company replaced our roof and seemed to do a decent job on the actual roof; however, they tore the Masonite up around the dormers which we were assured would be replaced by their construction company. Since the Masonite on our house was on back order we had to wait for it to come in. By the time we were able to get someone to return our calls the construction side had folded and we’re stuck with rough looking Masonite on dormers with little hope of repair. The sole reason for using this company was because they had a construction side. I wouldn’t use them again,

Love my roof! Installed in 2018. I had a vinyl siding piece fly off my near my roof. I called for estimate, they came and reattached at no cost. All my dealings
have been awesome!

Used crescent construction several times for damaged roofs and they do a phenomenal job of getting it done asap! Highly recommend their company!

Haven't had any rain yet, but but the gutters installed look great, installers were courteous and professional, and cleaned up after themselves very well. My only two issues were that I was not notified of the date of installation, I just happened to be off of work the day they showed up. I'll admit I don't usually answer my phone for numbers I don't know, but no voicemail was left and no email was sent. All in all, not too bad. My second issue was that I received an invoice in my email, and 45 minutes later, I get a phone call asking when I can pay it. I'm currently on night rotation for work, and trying to sleep. While I understand not everyone works rotating shift, and payment for services rendered is high priority, hounding customers for it less than an hour after receiving the invoice is very off-putting.

I've used them a few times for roof repairs. I I am always pleased with their professionalism, great work and found everyone was easy to communicate with. No complaints.

Excellent company. They did a great job on my roof. It was done in one day and cleaned up everything when they finished.

The wonderful professionals at Crescent Construction made our 50 year old house look better than when we moved in over 15 years ago!!

I've used Crescent on and off for five years. Every time I've had to use them again, it's been out of desperation. I keep forgetting why I stop using them.
1. Unresponsive
2. Mid-to-low quality work
3. No response when confronted with poor workmanship
4. Have no control over their schedule (they'd rather give like 10 hours' notice than schedule a week or two out)

PRICE ISN'T BAD THOUGH! Their office staff tries.

Kevin, the owner was very professional and did exactly what he said he would do. I have never encountered any workers who worked as hard as his employees did in installing a new architectural shingle roof. They were particular in their work and clean up. I don't make a habit of recommending to others, various companies that do work for me , but I certainly am happy to make an exception for Cresent Roofing. Zimmerman Homes of Distinction, a Custom Home Builder, recommended Cresent Roofing and I have recently had them roof a second home for me.

Crescent Construction replaced my house's 60 year windows with beautiful new windows and trim as well as replaced our front door. Their service exceeded my expectations. They were very professional and had great attention to detail. I would highly recommend them!

I just had my roof replaced with Crescent Construction and I have to say.. They are awesome!!! Mac was my point of contact and he walked me through every step of the process. This process literally was less than a week! Multiple friends in forest acres actually recommended Crescent because of their customer service and gold standard warranties! Anyways, my experience with Mac and his crew has been such an easy and hassle free one that I had to leave a note. From helping me choose a color, to helping me handle everything with the insurance company, to the clean-up once they were done, everything was professional, courteous, and on time. I would certainly call them again, and I'll recommend Crescent Construction to anyone that's in need of a new roof or repairs.

Oh! Also for buyers like me-this staff was kind enough to offer me advice on maintaining and patching my roof before they even got the job. I had repairs done to my house which resulted from storm damage the entire left side of my house the siding was replaced and the job that was done was just awesome they were very professional and courteous I would recommend them to anyone needing roofing or siding work done

Chris the owner came out for us to do a truss repair on short notice just before our closing on a home we were selling and did an amazing job. Pricing was more than fair and he was more than honest! Highly recommend!

We recently chose Crescent to do our new roof and could not speak higher of their team. They were the first to show up and provide a quote and were able to get the work done the fastest. I requested a quote over the weekend and Bobby was at my house Monday morning. He thoroughly examined my entire roof from the outside and in my attic where I had a leak, took several photos, and explained everything to me in ways I could easily understand. I was initially just looking for repair and appreciate that he didn't try to pressure me into going for the total roof replacement, even though that's the route I decided to take. The quote was equal to what I received from a couple other roofers in town. The team showed up first thing in the morning and had my roof done early that afternoon. They took great care to catch most materials in tarps around my house and I feel safe letting my dogs outside knowing there are no stray nails in my yard. I'd highly recommend Bobby and the rest of the team at Crescent!

Henry with Crescent Construction was awesome from start to finish. I was getting ready to go on vacation when I saw I had a hole in my roof and he was able to get out before we left, check the roof, walked me through the whole replacement process, and found me the best deal for my money. My schedule, honestly, was the only thing holding up his crew from finishing the work within a week. The roof was on within a day and the second day was just making sure they cleaned up after themselves, which they did. I would recommend them to anyone.

Even though we did not end up deciding to go with Crescent for our roof--I am thoroughly impressed with their service. Bobby was a tremendous professional at assessing our roof and was prompt in communications. If you are not calling them for an opportunity to assess your roofing needs--you're making a mistake! Highly recommend.

I knew I needed a new roof but did not know where to start! I did my research and finally met with a gentleman by the name of Mr. Sturkie, who works with Crescent. He sat down with me and went over every little detail and addressed every question and concern I had. Less than a week later the crew was there putting my new roof on my house; they started at dawn and completed the job (and thorough clean-up) at dusk! They were by far courteous, professional and tidy with their superior work! A supervisor from Crescent came that evening to inspect the work. The next day, Mr. Sturkie came to inspect the finished project as well. He combed back through my yard to make sure there was no debris left over from the job. He then wanted to make certain I was pleased with the outcome and to make certain I had no other questions or concerns! Simply the best! Wish I could give them 10 out of 10 stars!

I had a wonderful experience with this company. Darrel was so kind and professional since our very first conversation. He was quick to get us set up, and patient when we needed more time. His guys worked super fast and clean-up was perfect. Darrel made sure to follow up consistently to make sure I was taken care of and my roof looks amazing! I was able to sell my house in ONE day thanks to the finishing touches these guys provided. I highly recommend.

After waiting over two weeks and numerous phone calls to get an estimate after a tree fell on my moms house I finally decided to find someone else. A Company with at least 25 people working there should be able to spare 30 minutes to check the job out or even five minutes to make a phone call if the job is not A job that they want to do. They wasted my time And more damage could’ve been done to the roof.This is not a way to run a business

After reading some of the negative reviews on here, I can definitely agree that these people are horrible with communication. I've been ignored on almost every step of the process, but *most* of the work that was supposed to happen was actually done.

My main problem besides the communication issues is the fact that when they came to re-roof my house (a tree fell on the back side and knocked a whole through a part of the roof), their roofers literally just pulled up the old shingles and re-shingled over it. They didn't replace the actual broken piece of OSB. Needless to say, this shocked me considering that was listed on the estimate and the OSB was sitting in my yard for them to use and because that's just unbelievably lazy and unacceptable. Luckily the communication issues weren't as bad back then, so Kevin had them come out and replace that the next day.

Kevin made lots of promises that were never delivered upon, but I guess it's all just fun for him to screw people out of money. I'm just glad to have this all behind me now, certainly a good life lesson.

I had a wonderful experience with Cresent! They worked with my insurance company and got the work done in a timely fashion. I will be sure to use them again in the future!

5 stars... 5, 5, 5! (No option for 6.) I had an issue with my leaky and aging roof. Year after year I've had contractors come out and do those "bandaids" and I regret it. When I heard about Crescent, I contacted them immediately. I received my free inspection and was amazed by how meticulous they were. Finally, when it came time to REPAIR my roof, they worked quickly, efficiently, and were so personable while they did it (I still owe a beer to those fellas... if you see this). I have no problem recommending Crescent Construction to any of my friends and family and have total confidence in their ability to take care of a job.

I have a brand new roof, Crescent helped walk me through my insurance claim and I was able to pay for the roof by only paying the deductible. I saved over $7000.00!!!!

I am in a business where safety is my #1 priority and customer service is paramount. Crescent came out and placed tarps everywhere to make sure my home and shrubs were not subject to damage. They were very safe and installed a beautiful roof! The installation staff was very friendly and performed an excellent clean-up effort. I definitely recommend their services. Darrel, the lead inspector, was very professional and was a pleasure to deal with. Great job Crescent!

Blown away, that’s all I can say about the crescent team. Mac walked me through the entire process and there were no surprises or delays. My roof looks great he helped me pick out the color and pointed out other issues that needed to be corrected. I started with a leaky roof and now have a 30 year warranty.

The team at Crescent was wonderful to work with I was referred to them by a close friend. My Sister in-law was in need of a roof and neither one of us had any experience with roofs. It was a little daunting to just have to spend several thousands of dollars and not really understand what we were paying for. Bobby walked my sister through the entire process and made sure that all of our questions were answered. He further encouraged us to get second opinions to help ease our minds about pricing. In all, I am so very happy with this company!

Will never hire these people to do work for me. Currently doing a project on a building that I own a unit in (hired by the HOA) and so far:
- I haven’t been able to park in the space that I own; forcing me to pay for parking
- I can’t receive packages because they have a 25’ perimeter around the building blocked off all day with no cover to enter or exit
- of the 5 people I’ve talked to on site: 2 were rude and the rest pretended not to know English.

Best of all: they’re not even halfway done with the project, so I’m sure I’ll have more to add to this post in the near future. At this pace it could take a month or two.

They did come out to look at repairs needed to be done on the home. But that was it. It's getting close to a month now, and still no written or emailed quote sent to me. I had called them earlier to find out what the holdup was, they said they would get back to me, but still nothing.
If you guys were too busy or not interested, you could have just told me instead of having me wait.

Kudos to Crescent Construction. Quality work and customer satisfaction are priorities. Many thanks to Karl, Mitch, Chris, Josh, and the roofing team for jobs well done. These guys work long, hard hours to to complete the jobs. They re-roofed my house, replaced wood as necessary, painted the trim, and replaced my bathroom ceiling & trim. I highly recommend Crescent.

Best service ever! Called for an estimate to fix damaged shingles, they came out to assess the damage and they repaired the damage at NO CHARGE! They said it was a minor fix and they were glad to accommodate. Guess who I'm going to call for my next roof repair?

Great service they fixed everything and worked with the insurance company estimate. Repaired the roof, siding, and the water damage inside. Everyone worked as a team lead by Bobby who explained the process to me in layman's terms. I will use them in the future.

Nice enough folks to talk to (Scott G. is super nice) and easy to get along with. The subs and communication are mostly the problems here. Easy to fix if you know it's coming.

Pros:
-Roof put on seems solid and definitely fixed our leaks.
-Mini split unit was a great recommendation for our size building and runs well.
-New door unit is great and functions as it should, even has tint on it.
-They were patient with me during lots of changes to our project due to city planning issues and $$$.

Cons:
-Every conversation was reminding them of the last 3
-One of my customers was hit by a metal lid during a job.
-Mini split was put in a different location than discussed. I paid to have it corrected by another company.

**Edit: They did come out and make a repair on a door that broke shortly after install which was much appreciated.

Very nervous about having someone work on my roof, but these guys did a great job and they got it done quickly.

I had a wonderful experience with Cresent. Charlie went out of his way to help us. He worked with us and our insurance company. I was well informed about my options, the cost and the time of the project.
The whole team was professional, on time, dependable and trustworthy.
I would recommend Cresent to anybody and will use them again.

The Hamptons at Harbison hired Crescent Construction to put on 63 new roofs in our subdivision. This was a big job and they pulled it off seamlessly! Prior to hiring them we researched many roofing/construction companies. We initially met with Scott Guthrie the Lead Inspector at Crescent. He was extremely pleasant, very thorough, knowledgeable, answered all of our questions and addressed all of our concerns. We then had a meeting with Kevin Varnadore, President of Crescent Construction. He further reinforced everything that Scott said. They both made a huge impression on our Board. When it was time for our 63 roofs to be put on, Crescent Construction's crew was awesome. They were on time, professional, fast, thorough, they were sensitive to all of the homeowners needs. They cleaned up after each roof and they did everything humanly possible to make sure that there was as little disruption as possible even though we were in a Construction zone. Any issues were addressed immediately by Jamie and Scott. Scott continued to follow up with us after the roofs were done and we had severe rain, just to make sure there were no issues. It is very rare for a Company to follow-up with their clients. Our roofs look great and we look forward to working with Crescent in the future. Thank you Crescent for all of your hard work!

I agree with Liza. After my parents spent close to $15000 with Crescent on multiple jobs, I was trying to get them to do an additional $5000 job. After a couple months of going back and forth (with slow response on returning phone calls), they finally just quit returning calls and I had to find another contractor to do the work. I had left a message with multiple contacts including the Vice President, none of which returned my phone calls for no explicable reason. I recommend South Pointe Roofing & Construction instead if you want a quality job done quickly.

Terrible customer service and follow through. After 3 weeks of no call back (after some one came out and assessed damage), we called them back and the receptionist had no record of us, or any plan to do anything. Proceeded to ask us what the man who came to our house looked like and if we met him at walmart. Zero help, or desire to work with us.

I just had the BEST experience with Crescent Construction. They were on time, fast, and very knowledgeable. I'd recommend them over and over again.
