I was referred to Robin at CE by a friend while seeking to enclose my porch deck, and I couldn't have made a better choice. Robin connected me with Ben, who expertly guided the planning for my home improvement project. Ben impressed me with his professionalism, knowledge, approachability, patience, and, most importantly, his honesty.

Robin assigned Joel and Krzysztof to my project, and they proved to be conscientious and hardworking. They took immense pride in their work, paying attention to even the smallest details. Although there were some unexpected setbacks and scheduling issues with CE that caused delays in completing my project, I believe that these challenges shouldn't overshadow the remarkable service I received. It’s clear that the customer service follow-up at CE needs improvement, but that didn’t affect the exceptional support from Ben and Robin. They worked diligently to address the issues, demonstrating a relentless commitment to doing what was right. They kept me informed at every step, and Robin even adjusted his schedule to personally complete my minor three-hour project! Their dedication to resolving challenges truly showcased their care and professionalism.

My husband and I have talked about adding a screened room for a long time and we finally did it! Our only regret is not doing it sooner. We needed to replace the deck and so the project included demolition, additional footings, all new deck and stairs as well as the new room. We had to remove a window and replace it with a sliding glass door and it's absolutely perfect. As noted in other reviews, they take care of everything in a professional manner. Communication was good and the crew was really exceptional. We are out here all the time, whereas before it was too hot, or there were too many bugs to enjoy being outside. We never want to go in the house now!

We just wrapped up adding a 200 sf 3-season room to our ranch style RI weekend get-away condo with Creative Enclosures out of Bozrah CT and, truly, we wish we could click on 10 stars for this review . Their team met every detailed HOA requirement and stipulation as we applied for the modification - and we were thrilled they took the lead! We would have had no idea where to begin. In fact, an HOA Board member who is also an engineer by trade remarked afterwards at how impressed he was with the completeness of Creative Enclosure’s documentation. From sales & design with Ben, Matt & Rich, to project management with Robin, to the actual build with Andrew, Dave and Nate, we had a great experience. It wasn’t always perfect but, let’s face it, what construction project ever is? There are always the “unknown unknowns”. The trick is to seek to understand any surprise, talk through options for the best solution, and come to agreement on next steps. And THAT is the support the team - most notably Robin - provided throughout the project. As the space was being built, we had planned to sell our primary home in another state, live in the condo for a few summer months and then look for another primary home. Now that the room is done, we honestly cannot find another home we like as much as the condo! We may be here happily ever after. We cannot say enough good things about Creative Enclosures. They hit it out of the park for us!

My wife and I had a 3-season room built by Creative Enclosures. We had been talking about an addition for a few years and talked to other contractors but didn't get much guidance until we contacted Creative. The entire process afterwards was a breeze. From the start Matthew and his team had suggestions and shared photos from other builds they had completed. With that guidance and support we are now owners of an amazing new addition. The two months Creative was on site the crew was always right on time. The project required the crew to be in our kitchen area. They were always very courteous and professional. The project supervisor would stop daily and check on the progress and check with both the crew and us if anything was needed or we had any questions. I would highly recommend Creative Enclosures for any sort of project you are looking at for your property. They have a very talented crew and you can tell they all have years of experience with a wide variety different construction projects.

I’ve used Creative Enclosures since I bought my condo in 2001 when I had a sunroom already installed.

Just recently I needed to replace glass and Ben came out and took good care of us. Then the crew arrived to replace the glass and reglaze. They are a very professional company from sales to their workforce. I highly recommend them.

10+ years ago, Creative Enclosures use to sell their rooms as "kits" where the homeowner could have a separate contractor install it (as what happened in our home) a practice that is flawed and is no longer done due to the many issues that arose.

Fast Forward to present day, I travel for work a lot and we have 3 young kids. Our sunroom was having serious issues this past summer and started to break down. After calling this company a few times, it was clear they wanted nothing to do in fixing it. I had proof they knew our sunroom was not installed correctly but they did not seem to care, even after I was willing to pay for the work because I just wanted my family safe and not looking for a handout. We were even told to "Google it" when we asked who could help us because it was a serious safety issue.

They might do good work, I don't know. I do know they did not care about the safety of my wife and 3 young kids. I cant come to any other conclusion after telling them my concerns and hearing "Google it."

We happily paid someone else 50k+ to fix the issues. Unfortunately for someone always looking to add to our house, I wont be calling a company I cannot trust or wont even make an effort to right a wrong..

Thank you for your reply but I wanted to update my 1 and only review in my lifetime since I believe all the facts are important and then I am done.

First, I want to apologize I was misinformed about the "sunroom kits", I was just relaying what was told to me from your own company at the time.

Secondly, Its important to let your future customers know that while you talk about the liability issue, which is understandable when selling the kits, you changed that policy AFTER the issues with ours and others. You even tried to help the previous homeowner at the time knowing it was done incorrectly and even I told you numerous times I would wave the liability and pay for it in full because my families safety was priority, you decided money was more important. Just because its legal doesn't make it moral.

Finally, I think its important to note that there are 2 maybe 3 companies in the northeast that take on this type of issue because its such a niche market. So while it might be your policy to not offer referrals, I was only trying to fix mistakes that came from your poor decisions in the past, and maybe this would have been the time you should have helped.

To be clear You lacked any empathy. Within the same breathe, you expressed how this was a serious safety issue and the glass falling on anyone is a concern and the same day told us to "Google It", which you don't deny, you just dressed it up in your reply as "referrals".

I don't question the quality of your work, I have more questions about your morals from my experience.

After meeting with 7 potential contractors to do a major renovation of our deck, sunroom, and outdoor space, we knew Creative Enclosures clearly understood our needs from the start and we chose them for the project. They did an excellent job with exceptional attention to detail and craftsmanship. Their communication was always quick and easy, and all of their workers were extremely pleasant, polite, and highly skilled. I would recommend them for any projects for your home.

HIGHLY recommend Creative Enclosures! From start to finish we had a great experience. They replaced an old wood deck and completed some repairs from rotting wood; and even refinished some old railing that looks better than when it was originally installed. Very pleased with the professionalism and quality of the work. We had our deck re done and they clearly identified what needed replacing and followed through in a very timely & efficient manner. Extra effort was shown to work with our pets schedule to be out in the yard and to add an extra gate for the deck stairs, as we requested. Chris was especially considerate of our needs!

Creative Enclosures recently replaced an older screen room with a Cathedral Sun Room, 12X12. The entire experience was positive. Meeting Matt, owner, was our introduction to the company. He was patient and enthused about our ideas and his product. Each step of the way, from pre-planning through the final trim work exceeded our expectations. Without exception, each team member we worked with was friendly, knowledgeable and demonstrated a “can do” attitude. We worked with several team members, but Andrew and Robin were the ones to make sure everything went as it should. We had a couple of “bumps” in the project but the team approached each step without drama. The very few minor issues were dealt with quickly and successfully. I was so thrilled when Matthew Ostrowski and the team at Creative Enclosures agreed to take on our home improvement project. My wife and I had a mixture of wants/needs when we first started reaching out to builders and only CE was willing to stay with us as we rethought and rescoped our vision. We’re so pleased with our sunroom. Something we didn’t anticipate is how much we would enjoy just looking into this beautiful space from our living room. When we eventually sell our house, the sunroom will definitely be a “wow factor”. Dave and Ben not only did excellent work, they are just nice people. Winter managed all changes efficiently and effectively. Creative Enclosures seems to be one of those businesses that is just the right size, big enough to handle everything well but small enough to make our project feel personal.

Our deck looked like a horror show! Every couple of years we had to get bit stained. After paying several years the cost of putting in a new deck made a lot of sense! We found Creative Enclosures with an apprehension that who we would use would be a company that would drag their feet finishing the job. We were more than pleasantly surprised by Creative Enclosures reliability getting the job started and finished a month ahead of when they said they would do it. They had some unique recommendations that saved us thousands of dollars. Their expertise with how they did it were things other companies never suggested (our deck is incredibly well done and looking brand new). Sometimes people take the short way out that ends up costing them a lot more...let alone the aggravation involved. Creative Enclosures is certainly a company I recommend, They get the job done right and on time at a reasonable price.

I had been trying since September to get CE to come out and replace a piece of curved glass and perform an exterior service on our sunroom. The two techs that came out - Andrew&Dave did a great job but communicating with Kevan was a nightmare and getting on the schedule to have repairs done last year seemed to get put off by one excuse after another

The sales person they chose to send out was over an hour late, and took forever to put together the quote. I chose this installer because they are very close to where I live, but apparently they chose to ghost me for whatever reason. No calls, no emails, nothing. I don’t know how a local business does this and manages to stay in business. These other reviews cannot be trusted.

We could not be more delighted with our new three-season sunroom! Creative Enclosures was responsive and professional. Their workmanship was excellent!. We know we will spend many happy days in our new room with our family.

I am completely happy with work done by creative enclosures. They did a complete upgrade of existing breezeway enclosing it with permeant windows and doors. the completed work was excellent in both quality and appearance. the advice given by construction manager in adapting my original plan was spot on. With exception of supply delays the project was completed on time. the crew was friendly, professional and cleaned up everyday upon completion of work. Dave consruction on site forman was excellent!

My husband I hired Creative Enclosures to build a desperately needed addition on our 1980’s raised ranch home. With a family of 5 (which includes 2 teens and a tween) we found that we needed more kitchen and dining space. The style of our home somewhat limited what we could do so we worked with Matt to design and build a 14’ x 16’ room off of the back of the house on the second level behind our existing kitchen where our old deck used to be.

Once the project began, Matt’s team moved quickly and our new room was built in under 10 weeks! The entire Creative Enclosures team was professional and attentive to so many details. We looked forward to seeing them here everyday and the progress report when we returned home from work. I especially want to recognize Chad who was the first to come out and build our new deck and the platform for the addition. He worked with us to be sure that the new deck was exactly what we had in mind and gave it a really modern look. The structure is rock solid and will last our lifetimes! He also assisted with installing a large 3 casement window in the front of our house and all of the trim work around it, both inside and out. We love our new window and how it really opens up our living room.

Robin was the lead man on our job and we could not have been happier with him here. He kept us up to day on the daily happenings and we were definitely a little sad when he was pulled off temporarily to another job. The cedar ceiling he installed compliments this new room perfectly, as does the custom window shelf that he milled and created specifically for us. The custom transom windows are beautiful, bringing so much light into the room and make the space look amazing. Chad also worked hard installing trim around all 5 of the large sliding windows, the interior window with the custom shelf, the slider, the transoms and the ceiling. His attention to detail on the work he did both inside and out should not go unnoticed.

The Creative Enclosures team also did an amazing job matching the shingles on the exterior of the house to the existing shingles on the house which really made the entire addition blend in.

We are very happy with our new room and the additional space it has provided for our family. The overall quality and workmanship is excellent and we are very happy that we chose Matt and his team at Creative Enclosures to build our addition, so satisfied that we have already referred potential new customers!

I have a two story four seasons greenhouse on the south side of our home (passive solar and plants). It was installed approximately 1986 and a number of glass panes needed replacement-seals failed. I was very impressed with the Creative Enclosures workers- very professional, polite, safety-minded. They worked hard to do the job, and did it well. Replacing 16 glass panels and a tune-up on a two story greenhouse is no small job, and not inexpensive. The Creative Enclosures crew did a very good job. I'd hire them again.

A Four Season 16X16 Sunroom was constructed on our existing deck.

The project was designed to our specifications and taste with respect to our needs and decisions. We spoke to Creative Enclosures only, and after the first meeting, decided that they would build the addition.... their professionalism was quite evident at that point. Matt was respectful of our many questions and pointed out what would enhance our vision and suggested how to make the room complement our home. He spent the time to figure out how we wanted the room to be designed and the functionality.

The two, hard working main 'framers' arrived each day and worked well together. Typically each day Matt, or someone from the office would stop in and check the progress as well as touch base with the workers and us. Throughout the construction we were kept well informed and the process explained.

Mother Nature was not kind to the construction process. All issues were addressed and fixed timely and professionally.

Overall, we are extremely happy with our addition and look forward to using it daily. We love our new room and have received many compliments. We would highly recommend Creative Enclosures from design to completion. It was built with the highest quality and turned out more beautiful and practical than we imagined! Their staff is patient, knowledgeable, competent, accommodating and very easy to communicate with.

We hired Creative Enclosures to turn our existing screened in porch on the back of our house into a four season room. The completed job is beautiful! The room is beyond our expectations! It fits in so well with the rest of our home.
The workers who came to the house every day for weeks were exceptional. They communicated with us on a daily basis and were always open to changes and new ideas. They cleaned up daily and never left a mess in the room or the yard
The only small complaint we have is the amount of time it took to complete the project but we feel most of that was due to COVID related issues. Some supplies were harder to get and some employees left making it harder for Creative Enclosures to adhere to the timeline given at the start of the project
Overall ,we are extremely happy with the end result and love the work that was done. We know we will enjoy this addition to our house forever! It has added beauty and value to our property.

I had Creative Enclosures install a 10x20 screen porch within my current porch on my home... Matt & the team from design, to construction to finish , ensured i was happy along each step. The quality of the work is top notch... and the professionalism of the crew(s) was unapparelled. Suggestions were made along the way as slight improvements/deviations to original plan, and so glad I did each one. I even had quite a few neighbors over to look at it and I know they also will be getting screened porches based on what they saw and my recommendation of these folks. i would not hesitite to use Creative Enclosures for any future projects

Long story short - We signed with them in March to cover our deck and screen it in.  We were promised a "4-day build that would be finished before July 4th". From there, it was like pulling teeth to get any updates, despite them sending us follow-up bills for permits, materials, and misleading drawings. Finally, in June they said it would start in mid-August. We said that wasn't what was promised and asked for a refund. They said that we were screwed because we signed a contract. We asked what caused such a delay and they just argued with each other in front of us, neither giving us an answer. We would lose the whole summer and their sales "promises" were just sales lies. It was still 2 months before they wanted to start, but wouldn't refund us. We asked the owner for a refund and never heard back from him. In fact, we've never heard from him at all. We were scammed. We had to cancel vacations, work meetings, and long-awaited family get-togethers trying to accommodate this nonsense. The build finally started in August. The project managers ordered too much wood, which sat in the middle of my backyard for weeks killing all the grass. The wood, when delivered, was covered in mold, animal footprints, dirt, and splinters. The builders did the best they could, but the mismanaged office kept messing things up. Miscommunications from the project managers to the builders and electricians caused immense delays and frustrations. We, the customer, had to be our own project manager communicating with the builders and electricians directly and every day. This is not what should have happened, especially with a company that charged such a high price tag. The roof and 3 screened walls around our 12x12 deck would end up costing more than finishing out 600 sq basement. They finished on 8/25, 18 business days (not 4 days) from the start of the job, and over budget. That is 24 days without being able to use one of our bathrooms (since they never delivered the portapotty), without access to most of the backyard, without using our deck and grill area, and without a screened-in room to enjoy the summer. They didn't replant the hosta that were ripped out. They didn't reseed the grass that they killed. We've finished two basements, bathrooms, demo jobs, and other work with various companies. No other job took as much customer effort as this did. No other job was as unorganized or suffered from a lack of communication as this one. If we weren't diligent with follow-ups or communication to the builders, who knows what would have been built. Again, the builders and electricians are not at fault here. They were able to build a really nice product. They are the only reason for the 2 stars.
Had we known all the effort, anxiety, and nonsense this would have taken when were sold false promises and lies in March, we would have never signed. It simply isn't worth it with this company.

Transformed part of a porch into an extension to the original house! It came out just as I wanted with beautiful windows, a glass door, and rustic, grey, barn wood vinyl flooring! I now have a space where I can practice guitar, paint, or read in a peaceful setting! Thanks!!! Highly recommend.

Addition and remodeling
We hired Creative Enclosures to add an addition to our first floor of our residence. As my mother in law has been using our dining room as her bed room.
Creative Enclosures did the project in two phases:
First phase:
We had an addition added to the first level of our home , which became a bedroom for my mother in law. The addition included a walk in closet, laundry area and a handicapped accessible bathroom. My mother in law loves her own space, ( instead of having her bed room in our dining room)
She loves the sun light that comes in to brighten her room, she loves her walk in closet space, and loves the laundry area being on the first floor for her to maintain her independence!
The Second Phase was taking down the wall between the kitchen and the dining room installing a beam, and bringing in the hardwood throughout our first floor. Removing a pantry closet, converting two closets into a double sided pantry with barn doors. And removing a narrow passage door that was on top of our refrigerator and adding French doors.
The workers have exceeded our expectations! very punctual, professional and most of all building a great relationship with my mother in law and our dog!
I could go on and on! You won't be disappointed by going with Creative Enclosures!

Creative Enclosures did a extensive repair on the exterior of my house for an issue with water intrusion. They came as agreed upon and did not leave the job until it was completed, and cleaned up the areas well. As of this date, the window area that was leaking is dry.

Love our addition - it has completely transformed our home and it was exactly what I envisioned. They worked hard to get the job done as quickly as possible. We've had it for three years now and it's held up perfectly well. There are a few small issues with the deck build, but otherwise it would get 5 stars.

We had CE come and do repairs that were badly needed on our 4 seasons sunroom which we have had for over 25 years. Love this room and we were very happy with the work. Ran into some leakage problems after a really bad storm with southerly winds and had the team out within a few days to take care of it. Very pleasant to deal with and would recommend them for any project.

Matt, Jason, and their team of craftsmen did an outstanding job in fitting out our sunroom so that it turned from a 6-week room (three usable weeks in the spring and 3 weeks in the fall) into a four-season stunning space. They also built a large and complex deck for us with multiple levels and two staircases into our yard. And we had a fabulous set of Marvin sliding doors installed, which also turned out extremely well (now that was a complex installation!).

The workmanship was outstanding. The workmen were courteous, responsive, and their attention to detail was exactly what you would hope for. They were always on time, and we knew exactly what was happening at any moment in time. Matt and Jason were frequently in attendance to make sure that all was going well, and they handled our change requests with good humor and professionalism.

Our project was a significant spend, and we are really pleased with the results. We would recommend Creative Enclosures without reservation.

We have been in our home for almost 40 years, and during that time we have done several remodelings/renovations. However, we have never had such a wonderful experience as we have had with “Creative Enclosures.”
Not only did they explain the process of our new construction but they made good on every promise. They took meticulous care of our property and our home. And the excellence of their work cannot be overstated.
Their attention to detail and workmanship was amazing. They are not “contractors”…they are “craftsmen.” They would even make “mock-ups” of different choices we had, so that we could “see” and not have to imagine
what it would look like. And every day they would explain what they did and what they were going to do. And they would always ask us if we were happy. Also, the owner of the Company (Matt) would frequently come by just to check on the work and to see if we were satisfied. We have never worked with such kind and friendly people. They felt like family, and if we
needed to run out at the end of the day, we would just tell them, “Lock up before you leave.” That was the level of trust we had. And to be honest, after the work was completed, we were sad to see them leave. Actually the owner dropped by recently to see if it turned out the way we had hoped. Our new sun room is truly a showcase! Seriously, if you are considering this type of addition or remodeling, save yourself some time and just give them a call. You won’t be disappointed…you will be delighted.

We had previously used Creative Enclosures to replace our front door and, based on a very positive experience, recently contracted with them again to extend a room in our home and incorporate an addition to our deck. We wanted the additions to tie into the existing structure so that it looked like it was always there (not like an addition), and we couldn't be happier with how the project turned out. The addition tied in seamlessly with the existing walls and ceiling, as did the exterior work. Since this involved opening up an outside wall, we greatly appreciated how they used a tightly sealed, temporary wall to protect the inside of our home, and left it in place until the last minute to minimize any disruption inside the house. The workers were exceptionally mindful of keeping the work area clean and the job site was cleared at the end of every day. We could not be more pleased with the craftmanship and quality of the construction. I would recommend them to the most discerning client. We look forward to working with them in the future!!

Creative Enclosures renovated our sunporch last winter as well as the deck and outside back stairs. They were really terrific to work with and paid great attention to detail. We worked out the design together and they made some great recommendations. I always got a call when they wanted me to know their plans, but basically the team came just about every day during the project. We purchased a sunroom from Creative Enclosures in 2007. It was a large room 20'x15'. This was replacing a screened in porch. After 11 years, we still absolutely LOVE the sunroom. We have had no issues since the initial construction. Matt Ostrowski and his team were professional and courteous. The team was on time every time. Cleaned up at the end of the day. They even allowed our kids to poked around and ask questions. In 2003 +/- we had Creative Enclosures replace an existing sun room that was on our house when we bought it where all the windows were "shot / breached" from age & likely inferior windows. The room was replaced on the existing foundation with a different shaped room / same size.
We have experienced ZERO problems in 15 years. Creative Enclosures showed up on time, kept the work area neat and finished the project in about a week. Everything that they said they would do, they did. Absolutely no complaints. We would recommend this business to anyone looking for quality work at an honest price. As I said many years ago, when we had creative enclosures build us a sunroom. While the sunroom itself was beautiful, the roof leaked from day one. Their solution? Come out while it's under warranty, and slap some latex caulk on it and call it a day. So guess what? It's never stopped leaking. So much so, some of the window frames have rotted. And also beware, when I had a real contractor contact them, they told him they would have to come out and give us a quote BUT unlike other contractors, they CHARGE TO QUOTE REPAIRS! My advice to anyone who wants to do business with them is to turn and run the other way, save yourself a ton of money and heartache and get a more professional company to do it. I got bad vibes when I overheard the owner telling his workers that he's going to lose his shirt on this job. Tells me it's all about the money. I'd give a negative star if one was available.

Working with Creative Enclosures was unlike any other construction I have experienced. While slow to start, once construction actually began, it was quickly completed. Throughout the process, they consistently sought my opinion and were egar to modify their original plans to accommodate my ideas.

CE built a sunroom/greenhouse for me and my father a few years ago. At the time we were thrilled with their work, except for laying the floor incorrectly so that it was bowed up in the center, instead of tilting down to the drains as we asked. But overall we were very pleased..... and then a few years went by, and this $50k sunroom started to SINK. The posts in the ground (that were supposed to be a better alternative to the solid foundation we'd asked for) began to sink, and now the windows in the sunroom won't close. When I reported the problem, they sent contractors to come fix it but they somehow made the sinking even worse, and now the tile floor inside has come apart all along the edges of the room. Now that I've shown them photos of what has happened since their so-called "repair" they suddenly won't answer e-mails or calls. Legal action will have to be taken at this point; we didn't blow 50k for a sinking, unusable room! I strongly urge you to find another builder. They talk a good game but will hide from you if there wind up being problems with the structure they build.

I was directed to Matt and his team by a neighbor that had Creative Enclosures do work on his house and he was extremely satisfied. He was directed to Creative Enclosures by a friend who retired from his first career and interviewed with Matt. His feedback was that Matt was very detail oriented and if you needed work done to your house this was the place to go. The first job Creative Enclosures did for me was replace all my windows. The results were amazing and far exceeded my expectations. The workers treat your house and the job like it was theirs and it shows. The second job was a small deck and some stairs they replaced. Creative Enclosures is a remarkable company with very talented team members. I use the word team because a dedicated group of craftsmen worked together to create our conservatory, overcoming significant site challenges and meeting the need to create a cohesive look for our historic home. We had priced all the prominent conservatory companies in the northeast, and decided that a six figure addition was beyond our means. It's important to note that the price of the structure is about half of the total costs when one factors in the labor, heating etc. A friend suggested Creative Enclosures.
Our designated site was off the side of our house, and would actually sit in the garden so that all summer we would enjoy the view, sounds and fragrance, and in the winter, move our plants indoors to keep gardening in the cold months. One key expectation was that there would be no backhoes destroying the mature planting. Matt found an ingenious technology that eliminated the need for large machinery to do damage to our yard and garden. His team arrived on time every day, some days there were 5-6 craftsmen working on different aspects of the project. At the end of the month, we had a beautiful addition, at half the price of the other vendors, with more practical and energy efficient features. Matt is meticulous and his standards set the bar for the team. We have recommended Creative Enclosures to everyone who comes to see our gardens.
