I found CPI Construction because I was already working with CPI Electric based on a referral from my realtor to get an estimate on another property I was considering buying. 6 offers later and I purchased a condo that needed some work. I remembered how Brandon from CPI Electric got back to me so fast on the estimates for that first property, he was the first person I called on the one I finally bought. As we were talking about replacing the baseboards, he mentioned CPI Construction when I asked for who could fix the drywall issues this place had. He reached out for me and that day and Ray, Sonny, and another gentleman (I'm sorry I don't remember his name as I only met him the one time) came out and gave me a realistic idea of what could be done and explained why (which I so appreciated). When it was all done, the only downside is that they made everything looked so good, we had to get new flooring because it was like wearing a great outfit with mismatched shoes. We now have amazing walls, trim, and ceiling (whereas before the plaster was failing and the ceiling was cracking). And my front door opens the correct way. And they were able to fix up my bathroom tile (thank you Anthony). I'm super happy the company also has a maintenance arm as well because we are not DIY people. There is a slogan for a certain store, "You can do it, we can help." Mine is, "I think I can do it, then I'll break it and need to call CPI for help." I might as well skip the first two thoughts. I highly recommend them and would definitely work with them again. I certainly intend to use their maintenance/handyman services when needed in the future as well.

CPI was great to work with! They did new siding, front porch, back deck, and replaced my knob n tube electrical. They were very professional, transparent on costs which were reasonably priced, and followed-up well. It was great ease of mind to know I had a trusted partner in this big project, that’s not always easy to find. Great work! I recommend them to anyone looking to get work done. I have a few future projects I’ll also be using CPI.

Service questions
1. Should I stay home during roof replacement?
+-

It's not necessary to stay home during roof replacement. Roofing work is noisy and can cause vibrations inside the house, which might be uncomfortable. Most homeowners choose to leave during major parts of the project, but our team ensures safety and keeps you updated, whether you're home or not.

2. How long does roof replacement take?
+-

The timeline for a roof replacement typically ranges from one to three days, depending on the size and complexity of the roof, weather conditions, and material type. Larger or more intricate roofs may take a bit longer, but we always aim for efficient, timely completion.

3. How to hire a roofing contractor?
+-

To hire a roofing contractor, start by researching local companies with good reviews and proper licensing. Request quotes from multiple contractors, verify their insurance and certifications, and ask for references. Always ensure you get a written contract that outlines the scope of work, timeline, and payment terms.

4. How to check if a roofing company is legit?
+-

Check if a roofing company is legit by verifying their business license, insurance, and local certifications. Look for memberships in professional associations, read customer reviews, and ask for recent project references. A legitimate company will be transparent and provide all documentation upon request.

5. How to choose a roofing company?
+-

When choosing a roofing company, consider their experience, customer reviews, warranty offerings, and quality of materials. Make sure they provide clear communication, detailed estimates, and a solid portfolio of completed projects. Local expertise is also a major advantage for understanding regional roofing needs.

6. How do you know if your roofing contractor is ripping you off?
+-

Warning signs that your roofing contractor might be ripping you off include vague contracts, pressure to pay large upfront deposits, lack of proper documentation, and unexplained price increases. Always ask for itemized estimates and written guarantees, and avoid contractors who avoid answering your questions directly.
