Country Side Homes of WV, LLC

My son purchased a double wide there,and put it on land, that I gave him..it just sold 1 &1/3 acre,with the double wide. For $132,000.

We love our new home and had a perfect professional relationship with Carl from Country Side Homes. Before we knew of Country Side Homes, we traveled to Pleasant Valley Homes in PA looking for modular homes to tour. There we learned of Carl in WV, and he could manage the whole project for us between Pleasant Valley Homes and contract workers. Carl met us the same day. He was pleasant, knowledgeable, and very helpful. He talked us through all the steps from start to finish, gave us all the brochures, packet options, and even helped us with design ideas with the samples he had on hand.

We chose our floor plan (Pebble Hill) from the brochure, which happened to be a brand-new floor plan not constructed before. We had lots of questions that he patiently listened to and answered. He was always available same day for a phone call. We made alterations to the house that Pleasant Valley Homes followed to the T. He helped us work in everything into finances: cost of house, added deck, foundation, landscaping, septic, well, etc. We knew exactly what was in it and the estimated ranges for septic and well. We signed the contract in January.

Carl and his contractor were both very knowledgeable of the wooded lot we wanted to build on, meeting us multiple times. And then Covid-19 threatened to bring everything to a halt. He kept us informed every step of the way as he received information from Pleasant Valley Homes. Our modules were the last ones to be set out of the factory the night they were shut down by the state. Carl worked tirelessly scheduling and rescheduling all the different contractors and shipping trucks, as it was made more difficult with Covid-19 restrictions. But we got the good news finally that he got it all organized and got the green light to ship the modules to WV from PA. We watched his team assemble our 2-story home of 5 modules. From there he kept us informed and kept everything moving forward. We moved-in in June. It took 6 months, but that was clearly due to Covid-19. We were so thankful that he pushed the house along, when it could have all stopped in March. We have already recommended him to people and will continue to do so.

I had a great meeting with the first person I spoke with. Very knowledgeable and helpful. Gave me pamphlets and papers on each home I asked about so I had written information on each one and didn't have to go off of just looks and my memory. I will definitely be returning once my location is chosen.
